"Look who's talking! Your Sheikh is stupid, but you're even stupider than him. Do you think you can kill someone from my sect?"
The Holy Fire Sect Sheikh Fuego in red shouted putting her hands on her hips; Alis's words had clearly rubbed her the wrong way.
"You sour-faced hag, don't talk smack to my man, I'll wring your neck. No one can save you from me!"
Atractivo was flying without wings; tossing political correctness out the window, he spoke straight from the gut.
"You, how can you talk to me like this?"
"Let one of those flames disappear, then you'll see how I talk."
When the handsome Sheikh finished his words, silence fell over the massive hall; for the first time, someone was calling out the game being played.
"If your sectarian crying is over, let's begin; whoever doesn't want to see tomorrow, step forward!"
Alis, resting his two katanas by his sides on the ground, hunched over slightly; he was waiting for his prey like a white tiger.
One person from the ranks of the Holy Fire Sect heeded the call; what a coincidence, he used a sword too. Unlike Alis's two katanas, his weapon was a greatsword swung with both hands.
"Attack, let's see if your hands do as much talking as your mouth?"
When the two opponents came face to face, their eyes met for a moment, and in the next breath, Alis's katanas were at the enemy's throat.
When the milk-white katanas clashed with the sword wreathed in fire energy, sparks flew into the air. His opponent was starting to use energy right at the beginning of the battle.
"Endless Blaze!"
The Holy Fire Disciple was hulking, though not as much as Jashua, and when he swung his weapon, he sent Alis flying back a few steps. When the distance between the two opponents widened, a ring of fire appeared surrounding them.
"Your trick was wind, wasn't it? The ring surrounding us was created with my fire energy. Let's see what you can do when your movements are restricted!"
Before the words of the youth in the red battle gear ended, the ring started closing in. Obviously, by stopping Alis from using his speed, he wanted to use the advantage of his weapon and size.
"Since you're so curious, then keep your eyes peeled!"
"Typhoon!"
After crossing his two katanas in front of him, Alis gathered his energy for ten breaths and then calmly whispered.
A tornado centering the young boy in white rose right then and struck the fire shield meters high, starting to spread. It was expanding a few steps every moment; in a short time, it reached the ring of fire surrounding him.
"Idiot, what good is wind other than fanning my fire? You're digging your own grave!"
The Holy Fire Disciple had thought of this; this was exactly the main reason he dared to step forward.
"Is that so? What an idiot I am!"
When the wind energy touched the fire energy, Alis muttered with a laugh. How interesting it was that he was still the only one laughing after seeing the result. The intensity of the flames, pushed back by the wind energy that was supposed to fuel them, dropped by half within a few breaths, and the ring surrounding Alis expanded by ten steps.
"It's true I'm digging a grave, but it's only for you!"
The Ring of Fire was gone; an area where winds reigned supreme had arrived, and the god here was Alis. His figure vanished; when he reappeared, the right leg of the Holy Fire Disciple was decorated with a cut running all the way down.
"You were giving a three-move handicap, right? That was the first one!"
Even though they had barely met Ralf, what happened struck a nerve with the youth in white. He was going to defeat those who did this not in the same way, but the way his friend was about to succeed.
"Argh! You bastard, show yourself!"
While the bones on the right side of his chest showed through the opened wound, he became unable to hold his sword. Their plans were backfiring; the result of their calculation wasn't turning out as they expected.
By cutting off Alis's speed, it was a sure thing they would win with the help of the slowly constricting ring of fire. The heavy sword would overpower the two katanas, and the fire energy the wind energy. They wanted to play a game of cat and mouse, but what happened was a one-sided slaughter.
"Watch out, behind you!"
When the voice came from the ranks of the Holy Fire Sect, their warrior wanted to turn his head back. Even if it wasn't clear who shouted, what was said was true; Alis was choosing the enemy's blind spot to deliver the third strike.
"Too late!"
Since the metallic part of the katana with the milk-white hilt pierced right through his throat, the Holy Fire Disciple, struggling to breathe, couldn't speak. Even though he did as told, he couldn't keep up with the enemy's speed. Alis flicked his wrist slightly, and the hulking youth's head separated from the body it had decorated for many long years.
The two katanas went to work right then. When the massive body hit the ground, the head that used to belong to him took its place next to it in ten pieces. Everything happened so fast; the speed they wanted to suppress with power blew their minds so much that they couldn't even use the flames surrounding the battlefield.
Without ending the technique he called Typhoon, Alis returned to his place, next to his friends. What they did was nothing to sneeze at; a treacherous attack could target him at any moment. The struggles in the early hours of the day were a test of strength, but the final battle had turned into a matter of life and death.
"That's my boy. Everyone will watch their step! We'll blow your minds, blow your minds!"
Atractivo smashed the glass in his hand to the floor; the shattered crystals brought to mind the head of the Holy Fire Disciple split into ten pieces.
"Murderers, I won't let you get away with this! Chispa, Lava, no mercy! Whoever comes your way, burn them to the bone!"
Fuego went crazy. Everyone knew if this wasn't the Hell Palace or if Eyshan wasn't present, she would have long attacked the Holy Blood rows.
"You know what they say about a barking dog. We will all see what happens together!"
"We will see! We will see everything today!"
The Holy Fire Sect Sheikh burned her bridges; she was talking without thinking about the consequences of what came out of her mouth.
"Move on to the next battle!"
Eyshan stepped in between the argument of the two sheikhs and cut the conversation short like a knife; judging by her long face, she wasn't pleased with what happened either.
A shadow moved from among the Holy Fire warriors, who had previously been playing hard to get, and a breath later it appeared in the middle of the battlefield.
"My name is Lava, let whoever has a death wish come!"
"You knockoff!"
Atractivo grimaced; he couldn't stand watching a bad imitation of Alis's entrance to the stage.
"I'm thirsty, yes I'm very thirsty, but not for death!"
Jashua started advancing with heavy steps; his staff, as tall as himself, also appeared in his hand. His enemy's weapon was a machete; the male Holy Fire Disciples preferred heavy weapons to increase the destructive power of fire.
The official managing the fights didn't enter the battlefield; he was smart enough to understand he wasn't needed from here on out. Death was prowling everywhere, and it was completely unclear who it would visit.
The Holy Fire Disciple started unleashing fire energy from his body; the energy strengthening with every breath took shape around him. His feet left the ground; his new legs made of red energy tethered him to the floor. His arms and his weapon suffered the same fate.
When ten breaths passed, Lava, trapped inside a fire giant, was looking down on Jashua from the height of three humans. While the others fought by channeling their energies into their weapons, Lava was using it to enlarge his body.
Jashua had to look up to see the enemy. The Holy Fire brought out a giant against the most imposing of the fighting disciples.
"I've killed more people than I can count up to this day, but this is the first time I'll cut down a giant!"
