Chapter 384 - Üç Yüz Seksen Dört

"Son, we hit the jackpot; our savings increased fivefold!"

"Forget about the money now; didn't you see what happened?"

The young man with a watermelon-sized blood stone in his lap was staring at the battlefield with his mouth open. There was no one fighting, but judging by his inability to take his eyes off it, he seemed to be reliving the fight.

"You're right; what happened just now? Count Jashua buried one of the top three disciples receiving training into the wall."

"The title of Blood Prince isn't just words, I guess!"

Conversations similar to this were going on inside the Blood Arena; some had even flown the news to different power centers within the Holy Blood Sect. Only the subject of the event wasn't aware of what was going on; standing in the wide garden outside the Blood Arena, he was talking to Lareina who had caught him.

"Jashua, I am used to it. Please don't upset yourself because of this!"

The young girl, who had combed her hair covering her face neatly today, spoke with a worried tone. As for the hulking man opposite her, the fire inside him hadn't extinguished.

"They won't talk! Only a few punches were left!"

Jashua slammed his right fist into his left palm; the following wind caused the surrounding grass to lie flat, but the hem of Lareina's dress didn't even move.

"Were you going to kill him, Jashua?"

The young girl's voice was trembling; although she lived inside the Holy Blood Sect, she seemed not to have witnessed anyone losing their life before. Upon her last words, Jashua began to calm down; a few breaths later, they were sitting on the grass.

"Lareina, I told you before; my life passed in a kill or be killed order. If I didn't take that bastard's treacherous life, it is entirely because of you!"

The young girl listened attentively and answered what Jashua said with a single phrase.

"Is that so?"

"Of course it is! If I want to leave, no one can stop me but.."

"But what?"

"But I am afraid I won't see you again!"

Jashua, who had just beaten one of the top three disciples in the training process of the Holy Blood Sect to death, now bowed his head to hide his blushing face, but a hand caught him halfway. Lareina's graceful fingers lightly stroked his cheek and turned Jashua's face towards herself with a gentle move.

As they got closer to each other, they started to feel their breaths on their faces; their increasing heartbeats were like a sweet melody playing in the background. A breath later, the lips of the two young people met; Jashua extended his arm, grabbed the young girl by the waist, and pulled her towards himself.

Lareina was sitting on the knee of the hulking young man; Jashua wrapped both his arms around her. Two bodies mixed with each other; their lips didn't want to separate, they were on the verge of mixing into the blowing wind and drifting away.

Meanwhile, new fights started inside the Blood Arena; those passing by the kissing lovers were doing their best not to make noise, and in another corner of the sect, two people had come face to face.

"Where is Alis?"

Nafız, covered in blood from head to toe, stood in front of the Library Guardian and spoke with frowned eyebrows. Anticuado was calm; sitting on his chair with very slow movements, he crossed his legs.

"Aren't you quite bold for an orc?"

Nafız's eyes opened wide; after the mysterious old man and Lareina, one more person was seeing who she actually was.

"Don't be afraid; your disguise technique is truly magnificent. It is impossible for anyone else but me to see this; also Lareina can see, but I noticed you are on good terms with her too!"

Anticuado, holding the door of the library, was not in his taciturn mood of other days; abandoning his cold expression, he was speaking quite comfortably with Nafız.

"Where is Alis?"

Nafız repeated her question; she didn't intend to advance the conversation without getting an answer.

"If you are asking about your power animal, I sent him to an interesting place. He is busy walking on a double-edged knife, but he seems not to be doing badly. If he can endure a bit more, he will be able to get what he wants; now let's see what your trouble is, young orc?"

"I want to go to the library and stay there for five days!"

When Nafız's words finished, Anticuado was not in his seat. The orc in the guise of a young girl understood he had moved behind her when she felt his hand on her head. Her body went stiff; she could practically see the library guardian's energy passing through her and mixing into the soil.

"You completed the Second Dungeon; your body has learned to endure time confusion. Pass then, Blood God Nafız!"

Nafız entered through the opened door without making a sound; it didn't matter that who she was was known. If he had bad intentions, Anticuado could have killed her right there. Although she didn't know what kind of calculations he was making, she got what she wanted.

When she opened her eyes again, she was inside the three-story library; without losing time, she proceeded towards where the books related to Orc History were. The library was interesting; wherever you left the books you took from the shelves, they went back to where they first stood by themselves.

Skipping the book titled Orc Dominion she read before, she picked up another book next to it; the green-colored book was bound using the skins of orcs just like the previous one.

"Orc Lineage Powers"

As soon as she took the book, she made a rapid descent to the floor; leaning her back against the stone wall, she kept turning the pages. The first pages were really interesting; they told about God Bürküt and the Lineage Power, the ability he bestowed upon orcs.

"Bürküt, the eagle, a wild creature risen to sublimity, was called god by orcs and druids. Bürküt taught nature magic to druids and how to use the power coming from their blood to orcs.

Druids planted the branch he brought and created their own trees of life by planting the leaves of the growing tree into their souls. Orcs diluted a drop of his blood thousands of times and drank it, gaining abilities exceeding their wisdom.

Despite this, the end of Bürküt came from the hands of the druids and orcs he loved so much; thus began the collapse of the empire consisting of two races."

Judging by the dust on the book's cover, it wasn't a section that attracted the interest of the disciples in the library; maybe they opened and read the first pages, but none of them could feel what Nafız felt. Nafız, seeing what was told with her own eyes, was aware that what happened was too deep to be summarized in a few lines like this. Sighing, she turned the page, and a huge title greeted her.

"Lineage Powers"

Three smaller titles and short explanations caught her eye underneath; no doubt, she had found the book she was looking for. Her attention was completely on the book, but there was one more situation she wondered about. Although she sat covered in blood from head to toe, she wasn't attracting anyone's attention; disciples reading or working on their techniques didn't see her even in this state.

As strange as the commotion occurring while inside the Blood Arena was due to the location, it was equally strange not to attract attention in this situation while inside the library.

"While being met strangely in a place where people shed each other's blood, no one gives a damn about me here, which is only for education. I must figure out exactly where this place is within five days!"

Muttering to herself, she returned to reading the book again; her eyes slipped under the title written in large fonts.

"Ordinary Lineage Powers"

"Special Lineage Powers"

"Divine Lineage Powers"

Her hands holding the book gripped the leather cover tightly; her excitement was increasing gradually as she was on the verge of learning new things.

"Ordinary lineage powers are lineage powers generally possessed by low-ranking officers in the Orc Empire army. They affect a specific area or only the person using them, but they definitely need to be taken into account.

Although they don't have the chance to affect an entire war, just as they can change the fate of a specific front, carelessness during one-on-one combat can result in death."

Taking a deep breath into her lungs, Nafız's thoughts set out towards the lineage powers of Alyon and Bookworm.

"Bookworm definitely possesses Ordinary Lineage Power; he can command a front of the war and is effective in one-on-one combat too. Alyon's Lineage Power was ordinary before, but with his last awakening, he reached the might to affect the entire battlefield; I wonder which class he falls into!"

After the potion obtained with the Khan's blood, many orcs gained Lineage Power, and when Nafız thought about what she knew, she saw that most of them were Ordinary Lineage Powers.

"Let's see, what is written in the Special Lineage Power section?"
