Alis started eating the meat falling in front of him without questioning; he couldn't miss this piece which was four times his size. The Sheikh had acted generously too you know; he had given the provisions from the most beautiful part of the creature. Meat had been taken from the back part without sinews, where fat was distributed equally inside the meat.
"Eat white boy, bon appétit!"
Completing the third circle actually meant crossing a big boundary; it meant participants at the outer court level could use their weapons now.
"Young Lady, this kid almost died in the previous circle, but despite the difficulty rising one level, he finished in the first place. Can there be a logical explanation for this?"
This question was actually turning inside the heads of almost everyone watching the test; coming from the brink of death and signing such a rise was mind-boggling.
"Difference of attributes!"
"Attributes?"
"Yes, a person's unique features providing advantage in some situations and disadvantage in others. This must be exactly what happened with our friend eating his meat with pleasure; I guess his specialty is piercing power and for this reason, he became the first person finishing the Third Circle!"
Bodyguards were thinking lowering their eyes to the ground; this continued like this until one of them spoke with eagerness a few dozen seconds later.
"I understood; the Second Circle is ideal for people who can deal more area damage, but in the Third Circle, it is necessary to break defenses rapidly!"
"You speak the truth; the Holy Ice Sect is in the position of one of the two powers defending the border between us and the Lands of Light, and unlike the other, they ensure this by defending. Holy Fire attack and Holy Ice defense, spear and shield, they protect our continent from enemies!"
"For this reason, they receive the biggest share from all resources on the continent too. While they hate each other this much, you can't see any other two communities being this thick as thieves when the business is banditry!"
One of the bodyguards interrupted Ekaterina making an explanation with a harsh outburst. The young woman didn't get angry at this attitude; only a bitter smile appeared on her face.
"You have the right to get angry but you know, power means everything on the Hell Realm. While we can barely manage the Mercenaries border we protect, they keep the biggest enemy away. Although the Hell Queen is in good relations with Mercenaries, looters are waiting ready to tear a piece from us at any moment."
Ekaterina wasn't unjustified; her Sect possessed lands covering the northern border completely and this made them neighbors with Mercenaries. Although two civilizations were in good relations due to the event a hundred years ago, the lands belonging to Mercenaries were a place where chaos, terror, and savagery reigned.
The central authority dealt only with very important subjects; small formations taking power from this fought both among themselves and with everyone their power sufficed.
The Holy Spirit Sect was like the creature the public in the square ate with appetite for these looters; everyone wanted to take a bite from it.
"What are these doing while we deal with surrounding enemies; two of them are killing each other, the other is enjoying himself in pleasure. They have been living comfortably on the Wild Swamp border for hundreds of years!"
Bodyguards got thoroughly angry; one of them had even started badmouthing the Holy Earth, Bone, and Blood Sects. The other couldn't remain indifferent either; he continued his friend's speech.
"Now Orcs and Druids united but what will happen; there is a huge wall separating two continents. The Wild Swamp is in the depression, and our continent is millions of steps high; no matter how strong you are, you would die unable to endure the change in the air!"
The tall thin bodyguard wasn't uttering wrong words; due to this natural obstacle whose formation time wasn't clear, the Wild Swamp and Hell Realm were separated with clear lines. Transportation could only be provided by sea; that was why other civilizations had difficulty destroying Orcs and Druids completely and left them alone after a while.
"My reason for living, beautiful Ekaterina; I unintentionally overheard your conversations. If you have a problem with Mercenaries, please don't hesitate to tell me; I will go personally and solve that problem of yours!"
Ekaterina and the two bodyguards next to her had forgotten their chat was being listened to and opened up quite a bit; naturally, Sheikh Atractivo wouldn't miss this opportunity either.
"I thank the Holy Blood Sect Sheikh for his thoughtful consideration; my bodyguards just ran their mouths, that's all!"
The beautiful woman escaped Atractivo's net with an agile maneuver again, but the faces of the two men behind her looked like they ate shit. They were looking at the Holy Blood Sect Sheikh with ambitious eyes; unlike them, they weren't even in the care of the man in their target.
"I am fed up with the behaviors of this bastard; let's use the entrusted items if the opportunity comes today!"
"If he comes near us again, you take the young lady away, I will deal with him!"
The duo speaking via voice transmission had thoroughly sharpened their knives against Atractivo; they were thinking of using an important trump card in their hands.
Two different worlds had formed in the trial area; some lived inside the formation, some outside the formation. While one person was eating his meal with appetite inside the formation, there was another one waking up in the Third Circle too.
"Ooo Welcome my Count!"
Count Jashua started walking towards the young man in white whose mouth was watering with sure steps, while scanning the surroundings on the other hand. Just as he was going to arrive at the place he wanted, he stopped suddenly; the image of Nora inside the Third Circle had astonished him.
"She hasn't passed the Third Circle yet!"
Alis returned to the meal after making a small explanation, but a second later continued speaking without minding the bites in his mouth.
"Dig in!"
Actually, what he said wasn't fully understood, but Count Jashua could deduce his intention from his gestures. The Young Count didn't turn down the invitation; you know what they say: make hay while the sun shines!
While the duo was filling their stomachs like cook it yourself eat it yourself, the voice of the head supervisor was heard; he was calling out to Alis who had a few minutes left to enter the Fourth Circle.
"Bloody Moon Alis, is there any weapon you want from us?"
Participants could use the weapons the Sect provided them if they wanted, or continue with weapons belonging to themselves if they wished.
"Thanks, my own weapons are enough!"
When he finished his words, two katanas appeared in the hands of the white-haired young man; two katanas whose hilts were worn out and blades were rusty.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes I am sure, my weapons are sufficient!"
Those watching, led by clan stands, were in shock; Alis, counting seconds to enter the Fourth Circle, had drawn two weapons looking like junk.
"How poor the Bloody Moon Fiefdom is, look at the weapons they could give to the hands of such talented kids!"
"You are right; the strange thing is he didn't want from the Sect's weapons either."
"I guess he made it a matter of pride; poor but proud!"
"Ahahahaha!"
People in the place where the Fiefdom public gathered had already started gossiping; while the success of a formation they were at the same level with made some happy, it annoyed some too.
Those who got annoyed didn't stop at all when they found an opening to attack; they loaded on Alis's weapons to cover their own inadequacy.
"How painful that fiefdoms bound to the Holy Blood Sect are ruled by the blind. They are those who would think it is coal even if there was a diamond in front of their eyes!"
While they were mocking with eyes turned, they could notice the old man passing by them only when he spoke. The man whose back was bent and beard was about to touch the ground had said what he would say and was mixing into the public with a turtle's speed.
