Chapter 304 - Üç Yüz Dört

While literally all eyes were turned to the registration table where the quintet was, a weak voice reached the ears in the middle of all the fuss.

Actually, this voice had caught up just in time; if it had been delayed a few seconds more, perhaps Jashua would have said much harsher words.

"Where did this geezer come from!"

"Look at that, he doesn't have any teeth left in his mouth and he is still trying to talk!"

Two people dressed in white among the quintet started mocking laughing as soon as they saw the old man bent double. Although they were having fun among themselves, the registration official did not like this situation at all.

"Old man, go back to where you came from, don't get underfoot!"

If it was heard that he, a whole registration official, manhandled an elderly person, he would become a subject of mockery within the sect, but he couldn't allow him to say another word either.

"I asked a very simple question; since when has a member of the Holy Blood Sect fallen low enough to fawn in front of a few kids whose hair hasn't grown yet?"

His voice was weak and his tone was like the sigh of a person breathing his last, but such silence had occurred that everyone in the square heard what he said.

"Look at that, look at that, grandpa got angry!"

"Official, will you destroy this or should I send him to the coffin with a single strike?"

The mocking duo wasn't stopping; this time they had also made the type wriggling at the head of the registration table a partner.

"You son of a bitch, let's see who will save you from my hands now!"

The official leaped from his place with fury; the top of his fist was covered with red energy. In contrast, the old man was very calm; the real preparation was in the trio behind him.

Alis had firmly grasped his two swords, Nafız her daggers, and Jashua the sharp horn appearing in his hand; since all eyes were on the registration official walking on the old man, no one was aware of this.

When the man in the red robe took his second step, the trio had already entered battle mode; they were not cowards enough not to protect someone speaking on their behalf, but whatever happened happened when that second step touched the ground.

The ground around the registration table began to shake violently; many people waiting for registration couldn't stand and fell to the ground. Then, in the blink of an eye, a giant thorn shot out from where the registration official was; it was a dazzling blood-red giant thorn with a thick root and a gradually thinning trunk.

Although it was a magnificent thing in itself, its most striking aspect right now was the man on it; while shooting out from the ground, it had pierced through the official's entire body and risen taking him along too.

When it reached the height of five men like a monument and stopped, it was waving the man it entered through the crotch and exited through the head like a flag.

"Since we handled this, it is the turn of those who will stuff me into a coffin!"

Without straightening his bent waist, the old man turned his head to the two people in the quintet; the ones in white, involuntarily moving towards the back, made eye contact with him for a moment.

It was after this that they started trembling madly. Before ten seconds passed, white foam was coming out of their mouths while they fell to the ground and writhed. It was a mind-boggling scene; all in all, within thirty seconds, a registration official and two young men had lost their lives.

"You idiots!"

As if this wasn't enough, a sound resembling thunder rang over the colossal registration area; then a man descended from the sky like a bullet and almost stabbed into the ground.

The person who came was someone broad-shouldered, with stubble, wearing a dark velvet robe, looking in his fifties; he looked first at the corpse of the man swinging like a flag hoisted on a pole, then at the duo trying to breathe their last on the ground.

A second later, he was next to the duo on the ground; stepping on the heads of both with a speed invisible to the eye, he was exploding them.

"Did you think this place is the clan you came from?"

His eyes were flashing; it became difficult for those within a ten-meter diameter to breathe, many lost their control and fainted.

"Calm down, Second Elder!"

Strange events were coming one after another; a person appearing from nothingness appeared in front of the survivors of the group originally of five.

"Should I be calm? These punks coming from your clan must have thought this place is a barn; as if entering the settlement area with a vehicle wasn't enough, they also granted privileges to themselves by arranging the registration official. Guess where these bastards got the courage to do all these!"

"Calm down, you are going too far!"

"Am I going too far? Your mind is quite confused Third Elder, I better teach you what going too far is!"

The atmosphere became so tense all of a sudden that with the slightest movement, it would break in a way that could never be fixed again. The Third Elder, taking the registration students of the Bloody Star Clan behind him, was waiting on alert. He had a sneaky stance with his thin physique, his bristle beard reaching a span in length growing from under his chin, and his snake-like horizontal pupils.

On the other side, the Second Elder was burning with anger; he had thrown off his velvet robe, revealing the leather battle armor inside. His muscles overflowing from the sleeveless armor were tensed in such a way that the veins on them were moving back and forth.

"Enough is enough!"

Just as the deluge was about to break, the colossal registration area groaned once more; the voice this time was the most authoritative of those heard so far. The angry face of the Second Elder suddenly fell; unlike him, the Third Elder was smiling sneakily, he was aware of who the call came from.

The Second Elder left with fury; he hadn't even taken his robe he threw on the ground. The Third Elder remained in the area for a while longer and explained to other registration officials what they needed to do.

"Citizens of the Bloody Moon Fiefdom, your exam registration stones!"

No one took down the official standing on the thorn; he continued to stay there until the day ended. When evening came and the giant thorn withdrew, his lifeless body fell down like an empty sack; all his calculations and ambitions were slowly mixing into the soil.

The trio finally managed to get their registrations done at the end of the second day; although they looked for the old man who disappeared without being noticed in the heat of the events in the remaining time, they couldn't find his trace.

"Let's fill our stomachs like this, maybe we can find a place to stay!"

Alis in simple white clothes dived into the first restaurant he saw using his rumbling stomach as an excuse; when he settled at one of the empty tables inside, Nafız and Jashua were just entering.

"What would you like?"

"Do you have a special dish?"

"Of course we do! Today we have steamed fish made from fish caught from the river of blood!"

"I want it, let it be one two no no five no ten portions!"

Although the waiter coming to take the order was scared by Alis's strange appearance and odd manners, he was trying not to show it. He had been working here for years; he had met many interesting types in this place opened to meet the low-quality service requirement of the sect, but he had never seen someone white all over.

"The snowball has a good appetite!"

"It would be so nice if that fish ate the cub next to it!"

Alis was not the only one attracting attention; Nora had attracted the attention of the surroundings at least as much as him. With her noble face framed by her curly hair and body lines that would ensure the excitement of those seeing her, she was almost the center of attention.

Coincidentally, they found an empty room for three people in the place where they ate; the entire large four-story building belonged to the same operator and this place also offered accommodation service.

The registration process that started problematically ended with a delightful meal; the trio, whose joy was restored, was laughing and having fun without minding the surroundings.

Unlike them, gloomy moments were experienced inside a room on the fifth floor of the palace looking down on everything.

"Do you want me to get rid of the three of them?"

"No need, we already attracted attention to ourselves excessively. Let them take the exam, let's see; I am very curious about the one who will come out of a place that hasn't received resources for a hundred years!"
