Chapter 262 - İki Yüz Altmış İki

"You insolent thieves, open your eyes and watch how a real magic circle looks!"

After all that happened, Ainle had no intention of holding himself back; raising the staff left by the Goddess into the air, he started chanting some magical words.

No one watching him knew what he was doing, but if someone had the opportunity to look at the city surrounding the pyramid from a bird's eye view, they could see lights rising from five different points.

Four colors, each representing an element at four corners, were uniting silently under a green corner looking down on them; the shape formed was the same as the one Ainle shattered a moment ago, but with a single difference: this star was upright.

"In the symbol you created, elements were at the top and the corner representing the soul was at the bottom, weaklings! With such pathetic insight, how can you call yourselves mages?"

The monks of the Lands of Light had never questioned the meaning of the inverted star figure; according to them, this was the most magnificent form possible.

For Ainle, however, the representation of the soul remaining under the elements it couldn't rule was one of the greatest sins; powers under the command of his ancestors possessing extraordinary abilities had now risen above those looting their legacy.

"Seal of the Sacred City!"

When the energy at the corners of the magic circle Ainle activated reached a sufficient level, the entire city was covered with a giant five-pointed star figure in an instant.

"Impossible, this can't be!"

"No one can activate such a big magic circle!"

The monks were witnessing the greatest show of their lives; even though they were the ones trapped after spending their entire lives on the path of magic, the only thing they felt was the indescribable feeling this magnificent scene gave.

"Impossible! Just a simple word; if a person's soul is strong enough, there is nothing they cannot achieve!"

The young druid, whose aura had completely changed, was speaking so confidently that it wasn't even possible for anyone appearing before him to dare refute what he said.

His words weren't empty talk either; while the five-pointed star of the magic circle created by the monks looked down, his was upright in a way to emphasize the superiority of the soul.

This circle was the creation of a strong soul ruling four elements; it wasn't begging to borrow or use power; these were already his, it was enough for him just to command whenever he wished.

"Seal of the Sacred City - Purify!"

When Ainle spoke his wish, the elements rising from the symbol on the ground charged toward the bodies of the Lands of Light Disciples; within a few breaths, energy particles resembling tiny peas had filled the entire city.

Painful screams would follow this; while the blood and flesh of humans passing through the baptism of elements fell to the ground, a colorless energy rising from within them to the air was gathering slowly in the middle of the magic circle and taking the shape of a constantly rotating sphere.

Unlike normal warriors, monks were doing their best to resist this relentless attack; revealing all their hidden cards, they were trying to push back the energy particles, but the delusion they fell into in practice exactly at this point would bring their end.

No matter how much they tried to attack, the spells they used were powers enslaved under the yoke of elements; now, while there was a soul ruling everything opposite them, how could they raise their heads and resist?

All their efforts would melt away like snow succumbing to the vitality of spring; their only chance was that they had caught the opportunity to experience the depth of true magic, even if at the end of their miserable lives.

When thousands of enemies were laid on the ground as piles of dead flesh who lost their souls, the sphere hanging in the air continued to rotate incessantly inside a thousand and one lights.

A moment later, swinging his staff, the young druid would pull the entire sphere into his weapon resembling a simple wooden stick; after the energy possessing giant dimensions was absorbed within seconds, it was time to deal with what remained.

"I know bodies are good food for your spirit animals; please don't hold back!"

The scrawny druid, whom they tricked saying we will ensure you get a spirit animal back in the day, had grown up and started bestowing what remained from the humans he killed upon them.

"Alis, go and refresh your blood essence; Alyon, Pehlivan can also develop himself by eating the hearts of humans!"

Nafız wouldn't be offended by this situation at all; the female orc would prefer having a comrade she could trust rather than satisfying herself by assuming the role of a god protecting a weak person.

It would take some time for all the filth formed in the square to be cleaned; meanwhile, the trio had caught the chance to assemble all pieces of the puzzle by telling each other what they experienced in the last dungeon.

"Wow, the vile bastard; he secretly hollowed out the inside of the Druid-Orc Alliance for years and finally ensured its collapse!"

Alyon, unable to hide his reactions, would be the first to explode; rather than being surprised that one person could do so many things alone, he was expressing the anger he felt for the result that occurred.

"How a single weakness ate up and finished a huge organization; what a pleasant surprise it became that our archenemy is an expert on planning as much as he is strong!"

Nafız was sure of the power of the man she caught the opportunity to come face to face with, but combining the events in the last dungeon, she also admired his intelligence and process management ability.

"From within two forces completing each other, first he weakened those possessing attack power like a worm eating an apple from inside its skin, and later he made his final strike by ensuring the accumulated hatred of the whole world exceeded the limits of patience!"

While the female orc spoke, she was biting her lips involuntarily; the anxiety of the difficult times awaiting them faced with such patience and desire had settled inside her.

"The biggest blow was struck thanks to the sudden disappearance of orcs capable of using lineage power; what we experienced just a moment ago is the biggest proof for this thesis!"

"While thousands of people couldn't cope with just a first-level lineage power and the abilities of a druid warrior whose trees inside them grew enough to give Soul Fruit, how else could our ancestors be defeated!"

Ainle hadn't mastered all techniques of the Goddess from whom he inherited his consciousness and energy yet; the spells he used a moment ago were equivalent to the abilities of a mid-level druid warrior in the past.

After the words she listened to, Nafız's eyes would shine suddenly; she had also realized quite well what Ainle actually meant.

In the past, they could only trust their own powers, but from this minute on, they had one more ally beside them almost coming from the past.

It took almost a full day for the two power animals to deal with the carcasses of thousands of people; this waiting, which seemed like a very long time under other conditions, would mean just a small break for the group consisting of two orcs and a druid now.

Finally, when everything ended, eyes turned to Ainle; Nafız wondered what the biggest variable appearing in her plans intended to do.

"I need to return to the Main Druid Settlement for my inheritance to be completed; I want to tell you that once this happens, we will enter a path of no return!"

Although the young druid said these out of courtesy, the two orcs were already walking on the mentioned path since they stepped on the Wild Swamp Continent.

This time the small group didn't have to pass over the Machine Empire; turning their direction toward the Druid Settlement, they had started walking straight.

It was guaranteed for the journey to pass quietly and calmly for them, but the rest of the world was being shaken in the full sense of the word right now.
