Jack opened his eyes.
The sky was wrong.
It wasn't the flat, pale gray of the schoolyard morning. It was a deep, living green, made of millions of leaves bigger than his head. Light came down in soft, dusty beams, not the harsh sun. He took a breath. The air was cool and clean, like the purest water, and it smelled of wet earth and flowers he didn't know.
"This... isn't school",said johan...
Everyone shocked and panicked.
Johan pushed himself up. His hands sank into thick, soft moss. Around him, his friends were scattered like thrown toys. Jin was coughing. Vasco was staring, open-mouthed, at a giant mushroom that glowed with a soft blue light at a distance. Jack was face-down in some ferns.
"We were just in the backyard. We were talking about books!" The thought felt silly now. The memory of the glowing blue circle under their feet flashed in his mind.
"Magic. Real magic."
Everyone stares at each others pale face..
Shin was already standing, looking up at the huge, strange trees. He looked calm, like he was trying to solve a math problem. Seeing Shin like that made Johan feel a little better. If Shin wasn't panicking, maybe there was a way to understand this.
"Where are we?" Jin's voice was shaky.
"You Idiot,How would we know... We were with you..",jack said angrily and with panicked face...
"Not where we were," Shin said simply. His eyes kept moving, taking everything in. "Everything is different here."
A deep quiet settled over them. There were birds singing, but the songs were strange and beautiful. The peaceful forest felt huge and a little scary. They had only been here for a minute.
'Okay,' Johan thought, his heart pounding. 'We're here. We're together. We can figure this out.' He took another deep breath of the impossibly clean air, trying to be brave like Shin.
" I don't trust you guys... Wait I don't even trust myself... What if I fell asleep... The monsters will kill me...",Jack panicked...
" God, I will never sleep in the class and always pay attention to every subject... Just save me once...",Jack said while crying.
Then, Shin screamed.
Jack's soul left his body...
It wasn't a shout of surprise. It was a raw, painful cry, like he was being torn apart from the inside. He grabbed his head and fell to the ground, his whole body shaking.
Johan's brief calm shattered. "Shin!"
Jack with scary tone,"It isn't Time for a joke,guys"
He scrambled over. Shin was writhing on the moss, his face twisted in agony. He couldn't talk; he could only scream.
Jack lost all the fate and accepted his defeat...
"Next will be us...",jack panicked.
"Shut up! You scary cat...",Johan and Jin shouted at same time.
"What's happening to him?" Johan's mind screamed back. He put a hand on Shin's shoulder, but it was like touching a live wire. Jin and Vasco crowded around, their faces white with fear.
"Shin! What's wrong?" Jin yelled.
"Is he sick? Did something bite him?" Vasco asked, looking around wildly at the forest.
But there was nothing. Just the trees, the soft light, and the awful sound of their friend's suffering.
Jack knelt nearby, his eyes wide with horror. None of them knew what to do. They were stuck in a beautiful, terrifying new world, and one of them was breaking right in front of them. All they could do was watch and wait for the screams to stop.
The screams stopped as suddenly as they began. Shin collapsed forward, panting into the moss.
"He is dead",jack declared...
Johan angrily stared at jack and jack put a finger in front of this mouth...
