Chase froze at the spot, momentarily, those words hitting him hard, yet he didn't back off.
Ryan reached his locker in the corridor, with Chase still following him and resolutely talking about his excitement throughout the week when Ryan had agreed. His only mistake was not picking a specific day then, since he was away the previous week, delaying the clarification.
Ryan ignored him, pulling his notes and textbook from the locker. Then, he slammed the metal door and tried to leave. Chase reached out a hand, gripping his wrist and yanking him back toward the lockers lined up.
Before Ryan could protest, Chase pinned him, with the other hand pressed down on the metal just above his ear. When Ryan tried to slip past through the free side, Chase released his wrist only to block that exit, trapping him completely within the clamped space with Chase towering him.
"Can you get off? People would see us," Ryan hissed, looking up at him.
