IT HAPPENED when Koo Hajin was only two years old.
Since it was peach season, Haneum bought some and fed it to his son.
But after a few minutes, he noticed that Koo Hajin had become irritable. When his son cried out loud— which he never usually did— only then did he notice the swelling in his face, around his mouth specifically.
He panicked and grabbed his son immediately.
The thing about Haneum was that his brain would buffer every time he was in a panic.
He knew in his head that he should rush his baby to the ER. Or at least call an ambulance. However, at that moment, he froze on the spot while carrying his son in his arms.
Koo Hajin kept crying while scratching his face as if it was itchy.
"Honey?"
Haneum only snapped out of his trance when Koo Mujin arrived home, earlier than usual. "Mujin-ah, our baby…!"
