Joseph Joestar and Caesar AnthonioZeppeli—their ancestors shared a deep and complicated history. Half a century ago, Caesar's grandfather, Will A. Zeppeli, had taught Hamon to Joseph's grandfather, Jonathan. Later, when battling the vampire Dio, Will sustained a mortal wound and passed his remaining Hamon to Jonathan in his final moments. Empowered by this gift, Jonathan managed to gravely injure Dio.
Now, fifty years had passed. Speedwagon, who once fought alongside them, had become an American oil tycoon, while the descendants of the two legendary Hamon warriors stood grown and ready to face a threat far greater than their grandfathers ever imagined—the Pillar Men.
"Caesar, JoJo hasn't had formal Hamon training yet," Speedwagon interjected gently, sensing immediate friction between Caesar and Joseph. "This misunderstanding is partly my fault."
"No!" Joseph barked stubbornly. "I don't need any training to wipe the floor with this annoying jerk!"
Ray Chu groaned quietly, palm pressed to his face. Does this guy have no sense of the situation at all?
Caesar only grew more irritated at Joseph's arrogant demeanor. He jabbed a finger toward him, voice venomous. "Family honor means everything to us. My grandfather died because yours dragged him down!"
Joseph's expression darkened instantly at the harsh accusation. "You bastard! I'm definitely gonna pound your face in!"
Consumed by anger, Joseph lunged forward and swung his fist at Caesar. Caesar leaped gracefully into the air, palms clasping together before rapidly pulling apart to create a stream of shimmering soap bubbles.
"Witness my technique—[BUBBLE LAUNCHER]!"
A dense cluster of bubbles rushed toward Joseph. They appeared fragile, yet when Joseph's fist collided with them, a shocking counterforce surged through his arm, like slamming into a heavyweight boxer's punch.
"This is… Hamon!" Joseph gasped, arms raised defensively. "He infused these bubbles with Hamon—they hit like cannonballs!"
The bubbles struck Joseph relentlessly from all directions, jolting him with every impact.
"My gloves and clothes are always soaked in special soap solution," Caesar sneered coldly. "How many hits can you dodge?"
Joseph's eyes sharpened. Suddenly, he burst into motion, weaving skillfully between incoming bubbles as though he had eyes in the back of his head.
"Oh? That footwork…"
Ray Chu's lips curled slightly. He recognized the technique immediately. Not bad, JoJo. Just watching me once was enough for you to copy it nearly perfectly.
Speedwagon and Caesar also noticed Joseph's uncanny footwork. His movements seemed casual, yet they expertly leveraged angles and psychology to evade nearly all the bubbles.
"Haha! Your ultimate move is worthless against me!" Joseph boasted smugly, smashing the last bubble in front of him.
"Idiot," Caesar scoffed. "You've fallen right into my trap—[BUBBLE BARRIER]!"
Suddenly, the soapy water splashed across the floor surged upward, enveloping Joseph entirely. Though it appeared thin, the bubble's surface had incredible elasticity, trapping Joseph firmly inside.
"It's over," Caesar declared, casually leaning against the wall. "With your weak Hamon, you'll never break free. You'll suffocate soon enough."
Trapped inside, Joseph abruptly stopped struggling and raised an eyebrow. "Say, haven't you noticed something strange about that plant next to you?"
"What are you—" Caesar turned reflexively, only to see the potted shrub Speedwagon had specially imported from the south suddenly swelling with Hamon. Its leaves exploded outward, slicing toward Caesar like razor blades.
Caught off-guard, Caesar stumbled backward, his breath momentarily disrupted. Instantly, his bubble prison collapsed into harmless suds, releasing Joseph.
"As a fellow Hamon user, I know all your weaknesses," Joseph sneered triumphantly, pointing across at Caesar.
"You coward!" Caesar spat back, livid. "Only a weakling relies on dirty tricks!"
The two bristled with anger, charging at each other again.
"That's enough!" Suddenly, a figure flashed between them. Ray Chu's palms intercepted both their fists simultaneously. Hamon-charged punches struck his hands with a muted pop, and both combatants recoiled as if shocked by electricity.
It was Ray Chu who had intervened.
"Impossible… He effortlessly blocked JoJo and Caesar's strongest blows!" Speedwagon murmured in disbelief. He knew the two had poured everything into those punches, yet Ray hadn't budged an inch.
"Hmph," Caesar conceded grudgingly. "No wonder you defeated a Pillar Man. At least you have real talent—unlike someone here."
Though outwardly defiant, Caesar secretly felt his wrist throbbing from Ray Chu's hidden power.
Joseph's playful arrogance returned. "Ha! Your wrist bones nearly shattered, but you're still running your mouth!"
"How did you know?!" Caesar blurted, startled.
"Because…" Joseph began rubbing his own wrist dramatically, "…mine hurts like hell too!"
Joseph's antics defused the tension slightly, though Caesar remained quietly shaken by Ray Chu's strength.
Speedwagon stepped forward decisively. "Alright, gentlemen, since you've acquainted yourselves, you'll be fighting side by side from now on. But first…"
He turned toward Joseph and Ray Chu, his expression earnest.
"…Hamon remains our best weapon against vampires and Pillar Men. You'll both need proper training to strengthen your Hamon further. That means meeting someone special—someone who can bring out your full potential."
"Someone to strengthen our… Hamon?" Joseph echoed curiously.
Caesar folded his arms arrogantly. "Exactly. They'd better train seriously under my instructor—I refuse to fight Pillar Men alongside weaklings who'll only drag me down."
Joseph leaned closer, intrigued. "Your instructor?"
Exasperated by Joseph's cluelessness, Caesar leaned back in irritation. "My teacher lives in Venice, a master of Hamon."
Joseph tilted his head, dramatically considering something, before abruptly slamming his fist into his palm. "I've decided!"
Everyone stared at him expectantly.
"I'm going back home to farm potatoes! The word I hate most is 'effort'—and my second least favorite is 'hard work'!"
"Fool!" Caesar visibly struggled not to punch him again.
"Ha! Just kidding!" Joseph stuck out his tongue mockingly before turning seriously to Speedwagon. "Uncle Speedwagon, let's get going already! I can't wait to start!"
He flashed a confident grin, ready for whatever lay ahead.

Okay, real talk: I am extremely hungry for money, so I'm raising membership prices soon.
BUT.
If you're already subscribed before the change, your current price stays the same as long as you remain subscribed.
So for example:
Person A is already subscribed at $7/month
Price later goes up to $14/month
Person A still pays $7/month if they stay subscribed
Meanwhile:
Person B was not subscribed before the change
After the price becomes $14/month
Person B has to pay $14/month
So yes, prices are going up, but existing members get to keep their current rate if they stay in.
Which means:
If you want the cheaper price, join before the change. Otherwise, if you subscribe later, you'll be paying the new higher amount.
Price changes happen on Monday 16th, North America time.
