Chapter 4 - Pikachu’s Magnetic Multiverse Journey! [4]

The backdrop was a chaotic expanse of cosmic space, littered with planets collapsing from the aftermath of battle. Each planet shattered into fiery spheres, huge flames erupting from their cores. Chaotic spatial currents and temporal fragments scattered everywhere.

Ray Chu, having already completed his Super Saiyan God transformation, stood in the vacuum of space, arms crossed. His fur was crackling with intense golden lightning. Beneath his feet, a star was being drained of energy, a dazzling white-hot beam of power linking directly to the tuft of hair atop his head.

Having continuously lost energy, the sun beneath him was now on the verge of burning out its last embers.

Opposite Ray Chu stood an elegant, llama-like Pokémon encircled by eighteen stone plates—the legendary creator deity, Arceus.

Behind Arceus were Dialga, representing time; Palkia, space; Giratina, antimatter; and numerous Legendary Pokémon, each radiating an aura powerful enough to annihilate worlds. Yet now, they stared fearfully at the tiny electric mouse in front of them.

Ray Chu folded his arms, a mocking smile plastered across his face, energy forming behind him in letters that flickered like fireworks.

"Arceus, I'm not targeting you specifically. Everyone here is just garbage…"

His contemptuous trash talk drove the proud Legendaries into a frenzy, eyes burning red with rage. Arceus roared, absorbing all eighteen plates, their light merging into its body. Rising high in the void, it became a blazing radiance of creation.

Behind it, more Legendaries offered up their own power, merging their laws into the Creator's divine brilliance. Infinite divine might, surpassing all concepts and rules, surged straight toward Ray Chu.

"So, that's your final trump card? Disappointing. Let me show you what true power really looks like!"

Ray Chu's tail rose high, and an enormous purple bolt of lightning sliced across the universe, transforming everything into a thunderous ocean. From within this ocean of lightning, a gigantic Pikachu made of energy tens of thousands of meters tall emerged, throwing a punch that shook time and space itself.

"[MAGNETIC FIELD—ONE MILLION HORSEPOWER]!"

"[Z-MOVE: INFINITE PIKA EXPLOSIVE PUNCH]!"

"[ULTIMATE INVINCIBLE SUPERNOVA EXPLOSION]!!!"

...

Ray Chu woke up refreshed from his deep slumber, his entire body relaxed and energized, better than he'd ever felt before.

He had to admit Pokémon recovery ability was truly impressive. Just one good sleep completely wiped away the fatigue accumulated from training.

He vaguely remembered having a great dream, though the details were lost. Still, a lingering sense of satisfaction filled him as he woke.

Another energetic day!

"So Butterfree's Sleep Powder has such a nice side effect…"

Ray Chu stretched lazily. Though Butterfree had quietly disappeared, he was sure they'd meet again one day.

After knocking berries from trees with Thunder Shock and roasting them for breakfast, Ray Chu went to a small stream, washed his face with water, and began thinking.

After careful observation, he'd confirmed that real Pokémon weren't limited to four moves like in the games. In theory, with sufficient training, they could master many types of skills.

Pikachu was an Electric-type Pokémon, but it could still learn moves from other attributes. Theoretically, aside from completely incompatible types, a Pokémon could eventually master almost every move in this world.

Of course, over-specializing was never practical—no Pokémon bothered doing that. But Ray Chu had different plans: master as many moves as possible early on, creating his own fighting style.

As a self-proclaimed tactical genius, Ray Chu firmly believed no technique was unbeatable—only strategies mattered. With good tactics, even Legendary Pokémon could be defeated!

"Normal, Fire, Bug, Water, Poison, Electric, Flying, Grass, Ground, Ice, Fighting, Psychic, Rock, Ghost, Dragon, Dark, Steel, Fairy—eighteen types corresponding to Arceus's eighteen plates. Pikachu might be Electric, but nothing stops me from learning moves of other types."

Of the eighteen, Ray Chu most desired Psychic-type moves.

Not only were Psychic skills powerful, but their adaptability to various situations was incredibly tempting.

Pikachu was just an ordinary electric mouse. He couldn't fly, wasn't great in water, and was heavily influenced by terrain—these were important limitations.

Confusion, Psychic, Agility, Calm Mind, Hypnosis, Light Screen, Teleport…

Psychic moves were versatile—crowd control, mobility—perfectly suited for travel and battle alike.

"Unfortunately, Psychic moves remain out of reach. There aren't even Psychic Pokémon around here to learn from…"

Ray Chu had discovered the forest contained mostly common Pokémon—Caterpie, Weedle, Oddish—even Magikarp was rare.

Initially, he'd hoped to train until he reached peak levels right here, becoming an invincible starter-area legend, but now, his training had slowed down considerably. Perhaps it was time to leave this forest.

Suddenly, a splash of water jolted Ray Chu from his thoughts.

He turned and saw the familiar figure of a crowned, red fish—none other than that damned Magikarp who previously taunted and humiliated him using its swimming advantage.

Floating smugly, Magikarp blew bubbles mockingly toward Ray Chu. (*ˇ^ˇ〉

New grudges mingled with old, veins popped on Ray Chu's forehead, and he plunged into the water with a loud splash.

Seeing the "yellow mouse" easily provoked, Magikarp gleefully twisted underwater, preparing another victorious Splash.

But today was different. Ray Chu was no longer the weak, pathetic Pikachu he'd been at the start. After half a month's training, his strength had transformed dramatically.

A single Brick Break shattered Magikarp's scales, causing its eyes to bulge. Ray Chu followed up immediately with a Double Kick, sending it flying out of the water. As Magikarp soared upward, Ray Chu leaped into the air, spinning gracefully, his Iron Tail glowing with energy before striking the horrified fish like a home-run swing.

CRACK!

With the clear sound of bones breaking, Magikarp—scales shattered, eyes wide—soared into the sky, becoming a bright new star.

Completing his combo, Ray Chu flipped neatly onto solid ground, calmly watching Magikarp vanish into the distance. He offered heartfelt wishes:

"Pika~!" Become a star, Magikarp!
