Chapter 14 - Double Chapter 19 and 20

Chapter 19: Meeting Percy Jackson.

Before I leave the library I use my Ultimate Skill speed of Hermes to copy the librarian's mortal money without being seen.

I kept copying the money that I have now until it showed on my status window that I now have infinite money.

I leave the library before it closes and cross the street to a shop that sells clothes. I walked into the shop and bought some clothes that would mask that I'm not from around here.

I walk around towards the back of the store. I take off my previous clothes that I was wearing and put on the new clothes that I just bought. After I changed my clothes i buy the apartment that our mom lives in on the Upper East Side

I walk towards Yancy academy because I can't stay at home or the government will be asking questions. I use my time control power to change my age to thirteen years old so i can be in the same grade as Percy Jackson.

So I enroll in school at Yancy academy and saw Percy Jackson in the auditorium during the first day of school. I talked to him and told him that I'm his older brother.

Chapter 20: Field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

It was May, our whole six grade class took a field trip to Manhattan ------ twenty-nine mental-case kids and two teachers on a yellow school bus, heading to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to look at ancient Greek and Roman stuff.

I know------it sounds like torture. Most Yancy field trips were.

But Mr. Brunner, our Latin teacher, was leading this trip, so I had high hopes.

Mr. Brunner was this middle-aged guy in a motorized wheelchair. He had thinning hair and a scruffy beard and a frayed tweed jacket, which always smelled like coffee. You wouldn't think he'd be cool, but he told stories and jokes and let us play games in class. He also had this awesome collection of Roman armor and weapons, so he was the only teacher that didn't put my little brother Percy Jackson to sleep.

We hoped the trip would be okay. At least, we hoped that for once we wouldn't get in trouble.

Boy, was we wrong.

See, bad things happen to Percy and James on field trips. Like at our fifth-grade school, when we went to the Saratoga battlefield, We had this accident with a Revolutionary War cannon. We weren't aiming for the school bus, but of course we got expelled anyway. And before that, at our fourth-grade school, when we took a behind-the-scenes tour of the Marine World shark pool, We sort of hit the wrong lever on the catwalk and our class took an unplanned swim. And the time before that .....Well you get the idea.

This trip, Percy was determined to be good. All the way into the city, He put up with Nancy Bobofit, the freckly, redheaded kleptomaniac girl, hitting his best friend Grover and his older brother James in the back of the head with chunks of peanut butter-and-ketchup sandwich. Grover was an easy target. He was scrawny. He cried when he got frustrated. He must've been held back several grades, because he was the only sixth grader with acne and the start of a wispy beard on his chin. On top of all that, he was crippled. He had a note excusing him from PE for the rest of his life because he had some kind of muscular disease in his legs. He walked funny, like every step hurt him, but don't let that fool you. You should've seen him run when it was enchilada day in the cafeteria.

James Jackson is a kid with black hair and red-blond streaks in his hair. He has green eyes. Also it looks like he does nothing but work out, but don't let him fool you. He's way smarter and athletic too. He's got a bit of a temper, when his younger brother and friends, Grover and Percy gets bullied. When I say temper I mean full on violent, he must've been trained by masters of martial arts or something because he can really fight.
