Chapter 1 - chapter 1: The day everything changef

The universe was silent.

Stars floated endlessly, galaxies shining like distant dreams.

Slowly, the view moved closer—past planets, past clouds—until Earth filled the frame.

The camera descended further… and stopped at the window of a school classroom.

Inside, students sat quietly while a teacher explained something on the board.

But Kami, sitting near the window, wasn't listening.

He stared at the sky.

Lost in thoughts no one could hear.

The bell suddenly rang.

Lunch break.

---

The school hallway quickly filled with noise.

Students poured out of classrooms, laughing, talking, shoving each other playfully.

Kami walked quietly with his classmates.

Some boys standing near the lockers stared at him with cold eyes.

They didn't like him. Everyone knew that.

One of them pushed another student on purpose.

That student stumbled—and crashed into Kami.

"Sorry!" the boy said quickly.

Kami shook his head.

"It's okay."

He tried to walk away.

Suddenly, a hand grabbed his arm hard.

"Trying to act like a hero?" a bully sneered.

Kami stayed silent.

---

"Hey."

The voice was sharp.

Kami's best friend stepped forward—Kirogami, a national-level boxer.

Tall. Solid. Calm eyes hiding anger.

Before anyone could react, Kirogami lifted the bully and slammed him against the wall.

The hallway went silent.

Then he placed a hand on Kami's shoulder and smiled.

"Come on, bro," Kirogami said.

"Let's go eat something."

Power.

Respect.

---

After lunch, things didn't end.

On the school ground, seven or eight bullies returned with backup.

Students watched from a distance.

Kirogami moved.

Fast. Controlled. Clean.

The fight ended quickly.

As they backed away, a bully shouted:

"Meet us after school!

Let's see what you've got then!"

---

Police sirens echoed.

Kirogami was taken away.

"A professional fighter isn't allowed to fight in school," the officer said.

"Rules are rules."

Kami tried to explain.

No one listened.

---

After school, Kami walked home with two friends.

Near the school gate, they froze.

The bullies were there.

Their area boss stood ahead.

Behind him—dozens of men, impossible to count.

The air turned heavy.

"You two go," Kami said.

"I'll handle this."

His friends shook their heads.

"We didn't become your friends just to leave you behind."

All three stepped forward.

---

A voice echoed from behind.

"Looks like we're late!"

Kami turned.

More than sixty school friends stood there.

At the front stood Kiba.

Kiba smiled and said:

"If you were going to threaten us,

you should've done it quietly.

What will you do now?"

Crowd faced crowd.

Tension burned.

---

The boss snapped.

Weapons appeared—chains, rods, knives.

Kami raised his hands.

"This fight has no meaning," he said.

"Please… leave."

No one listened.

Kami smirked.

"Andi Mandi Sandi…"

"whoever doesn't run—"

Everyone ran.

Laughing.

The chase began.

---

At the police station, Kirogami suddenly froze.

"Kami…" he whispered.

"He's in danger."

He begged the police.

They refused.

Anger exploded.

The gate broke.

Kirogami ran.

---

Kami changed direction to protect his friends.

All the goons followed him.

At an empty crossing, they surrounded him.

Kami rolled up his sleeves.

"Come on," he said.

"Let's see what you've got."

He fought.

Again and again.

But numbers never ended.

His body weakened.

He fell.

Footsteps approached.

---

BASS!

A thunderous impact.

An unknown figure appeared.

Enemies flew.

Kami's eyes slowly closed.

Darkness.
