Chapter 2 - I am not real. [2]

September 10/2025. That was just one of the days of my pre-test exam. That day after completing the exam, when coming back I thought. What if I make a fanfic on ORV?

I love this series. My favourite series across all of fiction. I have decided to put a hold on writing my novel because of plot holes anyway.

Fun fact, I stubbed my foot when coming back home. A bit of blood came out, but no problem.

So I decided that I will be the one to get Isekai'd in the fanfic. The next day, with the excuse of studying, I wrote the first chapter.

The fanfic got a decently good traction, but life happened. My rhythm broke and I stopped writing it.

I mean, do you understand how it must feel to have over seven thousand views in a week?!

December 5/2025. I thought, why not start writing it again? But I thought of making myself from the fifth of December, the exact time I'm thinking, get isekai'd.

I didn't know why. But that day, I felt like I became really, I mean really composed and my brain became clearer.

I don't know why. I thought I was just in another hyper-focused trance that day which will go away by tomorrow.

But my fucked up luck is just damn fucked up. I… was not real. I got isekai'd.

I always had a belief. If I ever get isekai'd, then I'm not real. If it happens, then I'm just a character made to be like the real me… but with some changes.

That was when I realized what had changed within me. I could… focus. And I was more calm than I should be.

Which is why I connected the dots really fast and did the most optimistic thing at that moment.

I also somehow convinced the dokkaebi to allow me access to the dokkaebi bag… though I won't understand why he was so easily convinced.

I was fully convinced that I was not real. When I had gone outside, my belief was fully confirmed. I am not real.

—***—

After standing in a daze from all the things that happened, I went outside to see the situation and… it was a mess.

Just then I suddenly realized, is my vision a bit different than normal? No. It was completely different. It was almost like I was seeing everything like it was some 2D art?

"What the fuck even is happening… oh right. This is the reader's pov."

Reader's pov. A skill I made for me in the fanfic I made, which made him able to see everything like it's some kind of anime or something.

Which is how I realized what the phenomenon I am experiencing is the work of this skill.

'But, when did I awaken ADHD and delusional traits?

Weren't they awakened during the time when Ken fainted?'

[Some constellations are curious as to what you are thinking.]

When I looked at the school in front of me. I realized that I could understand a language that I don't understand. Korean.

And the school in front of me was none other than Taepung girls school. The same one Jihye is in.

When making the fanfic, I researched a lot of things and it was one of them. Soon, Jihye will come out and head straight here… if it goes according to my fanfic.

'Wait a minute… Why am I even here in the first place?'

Just then a thought came. I always believed one thing, which is that. If I ever get reincarnated, transmigrated or anything like that.

If anything unrealistic and unresonable happens to me, then it would mean I am a character. One that is made to be exactly like my original version, but always with a small change.

Me getting isekai'd. Not only that, but inside my own fanfic of ORV. The biggest thing being everything I am seeing and am feeling.

"I am more composed than I usually am and more calm than I should be in this situation.'

I quickly got back into the store and closed the door. After connecting all the dots did I realize.

"I am not real." I muttered.

This thing should be really hard to accept, but for some reason it was pretty easy for me to accept.

My heart was beating fast and I was feeling excited, but at the same time I felt like shit.

I slowly stepped forward and looked around the bloodied place. I was going to do the same thing that my version in the fanfic did. Clean the place.

There were at least ten dead bodies in there, I approached the body of the same man who tried to kill me. His bloodied body laid down.

There were multiple stab marks in his body. His eyes gauged out, a stab in his throat and multiple on other parts.

The scene was brutal and visceral, but I felt like I was just watching a gruesome art. Now I fully knew how he felt looking at all these. It felt like these are not real.

I grabbed the person through his legs and started drag him out. As I opened the door to throw him far away, someone called me out.

"What are you doing?"

I looked around before noticing a girl. She looked exactly like how she looked in the manwha… just drenched in blood, it was Jihye.

"... What do you think?"

"That…" She looked out of words seeing me.

Well, who wouldn't. Just a moment ago, a bloodbath happened and everyone's still trying to get over it. And here I am trying to clean up a dead body I killed.

'Oh right… if I killed this guy so brutally, then it would mean…'

Only then did I realize that I too was drenched in blood.

"By the way, did you realize one thing?" I asked, kind of excited.

"What?" She replied in a bit uneasy voice.

"I am speaking in a different language, but you can still understand it."

She seemed surprised and seemed to only realize after I stated that. Seeing her reaction. Well, this was the work of Inter dimensional translation of the star stream.

"Anyway. Are you going to the convenience store to get supplies or what?" I asked, a bit complacent.

She nodded affirmatively. I left the body and approached her.

"How much coin do you have?"

"Coins?" She asked, clearly confused.

"Just say attribute window. A blue screen will appear and you can see your stats and such."

She does just like my instructions and apparently, she had 100 coins. Well, the only person she killed was her… best freind, so it is valid as to why she only has 100 coins.

"Then transfer the 100 coins to me."

"Why should I?" She asked, confused with everything that's happening.

"I am cleaning the store and since I was there first, technically it is mine. So think of it as a fee for going."

[The supporting constellation of the incarnation Lee Jihye is looking at you with suspicion.]

At first she didn't want to give it up, but later did after I explained how I am still lerting her take all the things she wants even though supplies are really important in a apocalypse like this.

[100 coins have been transferred to you.]

'It feels weird no matter how much I see. I really am inside ORV… even if it's a fanfic version.

Well, let's get back to business.'

As I started to drag the body away again.

After a while, all the bodies in the store were dragged out from the store.

Jihye seemed to have packed put all the things she needed.

As she began to head out. Before stepping out, she asked me.

"By the way, we might never meet again, but I'm asking anyway. What is you name?"

She asked my name. Luckily I already prepeared for this. Even in my fanfic, she asked the same thing.

"My name? It is… Kennedy, you can call me Ken."

Ken. That was the name that my version in the fanfic had come up with as a cover.

She seemed to think something before speaking up.

"My name is Lee Jihye. Well, what is the point of exchanging words if we never meet again."

"We will. Well, if it's a big ass coincidence that is."

It was obvious that we will meet again, as that is how the original fanfic is supposed to go.

She starts head out her own way. Most likely because of the second scenario.

"Hey! By the way, don't think me having beard is too weird. You too must already understand that I am not Korean!"

I called out to her, but all she does is wave at me and heads her way.

"Well then. Dear readers, shall we have a light discussion?"
