When Elnobo turned ten years old, he still couldn't use magic to its full potential, but he was already very skilled. That was because he possessed two powers different from everyone else's. The whole world knew about his magic of creation, and his reputation began to grow. The people living there believed that he would one day become king.
For years, he focused on strengthening his magic and learning new abilities, spending little time with his family. But he had an older brother.
Eglie and Elnobo shared the same interests. Since Eglie had no magic, they often played together. They loved archery, hunting wild rabbits, and cooking and eating them at night. These were their favorite activities, and they always did them together.
Eglie loved his younger brother, and Elnobo loved him too. They spent their childhood together.
When Elnobo turned fifteen, his brother was twenty-seven. At that time, a tragedy struck both sons: their father, King Arthur, passed away. Queen Ella could not endure this great loss and became seriously ill, because they loved each other deeply. Meanwhile, the people were waiting for a new king. However, King Arthur had left no will. His death was sudden, and no one expected it.
While the queen lay gravely ill, the people took advantage of the absence of a king and began putting forward their own candidates. Chaos and war broke out in the country. The two brothers did not know what to do.
Eglie believed that opposing the people would only make the war worse, while Elnobo had never learned state affairs. He had lived in hiding and had only recently been free after five years. Becoming king seemed very difficult for him.
The brothers sat down and talked:
- Little brother, you must become the ruler of the state. From the day you were born, I knew you were destined to be king. My interest in state affairs was only curiosity.
- But brother...
- Little brother, I want to live a simple life. I have devoted myself to science and knowledge. I cannot sit on a throne. Do you understand? You can do this-I believe in you. You will change our country from the ground up and establish justice. I want to show the whole world that even those without magic can achieve great things.
- Is that okay, little brother? Becoming king would block my dreams.
- Brother, I can't stop you, but if you became king, you would truly prove that even someone without magic can be king.
- I am afraid. We started this conversation to stop the people's war, not to make it worse. Please, little brother, you must become king.
- Brother!
- What? Won't you listen to your older brother? I said you will be king, so you will be king. End of discussion, okay?
- Okay.
- Then don't sit here anymore, little brother. You are the king. You must calm the country.
- Okay, brother. I will become king, just as you said.
After that conversation, Elnobo's fear disappeared, and he decided to become king. He gathered the mages, calmed the people throughout the land, and announced to the entire country that he would rule.
The whole nation accepted him and declared him a great king.
