Astrid Hofferson was the most beautiful 5-year-old on the island of Phoenix island and every boy wanted to date her and every girl wanted to be just like but she had one goal in mind kill the frightmare that ruined her family's reputation 2 years ago and Astrid had scars on her body from her training with the axe and doing her training her hand glowed red for a second and she scared from that she hit her head on a branch which ran a scar from her forehead across her eyebrow and on her cheek and she was knocked out. 2 hours later Astrid woke and she walked back home and stumbled into her house and her mother saw the state she was in
"Honey what happened, was it a dragon if it was we'll hunt it down." Hilda said
Astrid was going to say the truth but she chose to lie instead. "It was a Deadly Nadder i was coming out of my forward role and I didn't see the tail coming and it made this scar on my face." Astrid lied to her mother

The Vikings have a barrier around them that keeps them trapped in their own time period and they won't move forward until something happen that will make them move in time
Meanwhile in Paris
Master Fu was meditating until a red glow appeared from the miracle box and Tikki come out
"Master, I felt the aura of a true soul who would wield my Miraculous and every power of the Miraculous but she's in the Viking barrier." Tikki said
"Don't worry Tikki, fate will intervene and she'll be out of the barrier just give it a little luck and you'll see your holder in the future." Master Fu said
With Astrid and her tribe
"My daughter was almost brutally killed by a Deadly Nadder but it only gave a scar across her eye." Erik said
"Your daughter is truly a Viking she survived a dragon attack and live to tell the tale." Viking Villager shouted
"Did you see what color it was?" Viking Villager asked
"No, it was so fast that I didn't have time to move the forward role that I had been trying to perfect since I started training." Astrid said
"Damn those Deadly Nadders are sneaky as fuck." Viking Villager said
A Viking guard came running up and he stopped at the stairs to catch his breath
"What is it?" Erik asked
"It's the Outcasts and they coming in full force." Viking Guard said
"Hilda take Astrid to the boat, and I'll follow behind." Erik said as he took his axe from Astrid and he went running to the docks while Hilda grabbed Astrid's hand and they went running to the boat at the back of the Island where a boat was waiting.
"Mommy, what's happening?" Astrid asked
"It's the outcast dear, they are arch-enemies of berk and that's where we going to berk to talk to Stoick so they can help us take our village back or if we can stay." Hilda said
45 minutes later Erik came running with blood running down his face and he chucked everything onto the boat and they started to row away from the island and they headed west to the isle of berk
2 days later
The Hoffersons have been out in the ocean heading West to berk and a storm came out of nowhere it started to batter the boat and Astrid thought she saw something in the sky but she thought it was her imagination.
"she saw me, she actually saw me I better tell the master the good news." Longg said heading back to Paris
A giant wave was coming and it swept over the boat, Astrid fell over the boat and her Mother called out to her but she was being dragged away by the currents towards the barrier that took her out to the modern world and she floated all the way to Paris where Tom and Sabine were having their honeymoon at Normandy's beach where they saw a girl face down in the sand wearing rugged clothes
"Honey, there is a small 5-year-old washed up on the shore we need to take her to the hospital." Sabine said
"You get the car and I'll get the girl." Tom said and Sabine ran to the car, Tom picked up Astrid and carefully carried her to the car
After 2 hours of driving they finally arrived at the doctor, and they carried Astrid in and the doctor quickly showed them to the medical room and they checked her over.
After 30 minutes the doctor came out
"How is she, doctor?" Sabine asked
"Well, she's a Viking because her ragged clothes are Viking clothes." The doctor said
"I thought nothing can get in or out of that barrier." Tom said
"When she wakes up we'll ask her." The doctor said
After 3 days Astrid woke up and looked around, she saw an unfamiliar room and strangers in her room.
The doctor came in and saw Astrid awake.
"Hello, lass I see you are awake." The doctor said
"Who are you and where am I?" Astrid asked confused
"You are in the modern world you are out of the time barrier you are in the year 2005." The doctor said
"(So this is the modern world I heard so much from trader Johann.)" Astrid thought
"Can I ask you a few questions?" The doctor asked
Astrid nodded her head
"Okay, what is your name?" The doctor asked
"Astrid Fearless Hofferson." Astrid said
"Astrid stands for beautiful and loved, doesn't it?" The doctor said
"Yeah it does I was loved by my whole tribe and I was the most beautiful of them all and every girl wanted to be like me." Astrid said
"What happened for you to be washed up on shore?" The doctor asked
"Well my village was attacked by the outcasts and my mom and I ran to the boat at the back of the island my dad came running and we all hopped into the boat and we started to row West to the village of berk then a storm comes out of nowhere and I thought I saw something in the clouds and I thought it was the skrill causing the storm but it didn't attack us so it wasn't a storm and a freak wave appeared and I got swept out to sea and I got knocked out by an invisible force." Astrid explained
"That explains how you got through." The doctor said
"What do you mean?" Astrid asked confused
"We have been studying that mysterious wall for centuries and we couldn't come up with anything, the last Vikings were when they came to our shores and that was the last time anyone saw them." The doctor said
Tom and Sabine woke up and they saw Astrid awake
"How are you dear?" Sabine asked
"Confused about this modern world." Astrid said
"It must be very difficult for you to jump thousands of years into the future." Tom said
"Yeah, it is very difficult to understand." Astrid said
"So do you want to come home with us and we can be your foster parents until you find your real family again?" Sabine asked
"Yeah, I would like that until I find a way back into that barrier." Astrid said
"I hope so dear and you can't use your Viking name and you have to dye your hair my color blue to make people think you're our adopted daughter." Sabine said
"Yeah, I would like that, and do you have make-up to cover this scar on my face?" Astrid asked pointing at the scar on her face
"Sorry dear but I'll say you got into an incident at the bakery." Sabine said
Tom and Sabine gave Astrid new clothes and she changed into them and she looked in the mirror and she looked very pretty.
"These clothes are really comfortable better than the Viking clothes." Astrid said
"Well come on we're going home." Tom said putting her arm around Astrid's shoulder
"Oh, before I forgot dear your name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng and you are our daughter." Sabine said
Tom, Sabine, and Marinette walked to the car and Marinette looked at it confused.
"What is this contraption?" Marinette asked confused
"This dear is a car." Sabine said
"So you don't use boats to travel to other islands anymore." Marinette said
"No dear boat travel is now air travel." Sabine said
"What is air travel, are they like dragons, because I hate dragons." Marinette said growling at the idea of traveling on dragons.
"We don't travel on dragons dear it's all powered by electronics." Sabine said
"I got to learn more about this world." Marinette said
"Of course you do dear." Tom said
Tom started the car up and they drove to the bakery, Marinette was amazed at the different cultures.
When they arrived at the bakery Marinette got out and they lead her inside and they showed her to the bedroom she'll be staying.
With Wang Fu
Wang Fu stood outside the bakery and saw the girl who will be wielding the Ladybug Miraculous and who will be the next guardian and he walked home but Marinette saw him spying so doing the night she sneaked out of the house and she used her tracking skills found where he lived and she entered inside.
"Hello dear, I was expecting you." Wang said
"You were, why?" Marinette asked
"Well, dear I can sense magic in you and I can help you train it." Wang Fu said
"So that red glow was my magic." Marinette said
"Yes dear, it was." Wang Fu said
"I accept being trained by you but I'll ask Sabine for extra activities to do." Marinette said exiting the store.
"Tikki I found your future holder." Wang Fu asked
"Yes Master she is and I know she'll help us." Tikki said
"Let's hope so Tikki because the future rests in her hands." Wang Fu said
5 years later
For 5 years Marinette has been secretly training with Wang Fu at night and doing the day she goes to Francoise Dupont College and does extra activities like fencing so she doesn't get rusty using weapons, learning different languages, martial arts training, and gymnastics and she took up designing and she was surprised she was good at it.
Marinette and Chloe don't like each other and they have been at each other's throats, Chloe was slowly starting to respect Marinette.
2 years later Marinette completed her language training, martial arts training, gymnastics, her magic powers, and Miraculous training she was still doing fencing and she was good at it but she was almost done with guardian training all she needs is the grimoire and her training is completed and she created her own designing company but she also added extra things inside so it can get more money and she built the mall and after Master Fu told her about the extra power of the Butterfly, Marinette built the akuma police and the prison.
