Waaah… Waaah… Waaah…"
The sound of a small baby crying echoed inside a room within a small wooden hut on a very tiny island, an island that contained almost nothing except the hut itself and a single tree beside it. Outside, the atmosphere was violent—storms raged, waves crashed against one another, and the sea roared.
Inside the hut stood a tall man with a mysterious tattoo on his face, staring at the crying baby with an expression that could not be interpreted. He could be no one other than Monkey D. Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army. Sitting on a chair in the middle of the room was an old woman who said, "His physical build is weak, and I don't think he will be able to endure training."
When the baby calmed down, Dragon picked him up and walked outside. The storm suddenly subsided, and on the horizon appeared a massive ship heading toward the island.

On the other side of the world, specifically in Foosha Village, Monkey D. Garp, the Hero of the Marines, stood in front of a child about two years old, staring at him seriously and shouting, "Luffy! You must work hard to become a Marine hero! Bwahahahaha! That damned Dragon became a revolutionary and left his child to me. When I see him next time, I'll break his legs!"
At that moment, a green-haired woman entered, looking worried.
"Garp-san! Garp-san! Look at the harbor—I think Dragon has returned!"
Garp turned toward her and shouted loudly, "What?! Impossible! That idiot would never return—unless he came to bring me another grandchild!"
Garp went out with Makino toward the harbor and saw a group of villagers gathered and whispering. Then a man wearing a green cloak stepped down, holding a basket of fruit. He looked at the crowd without speaking. When Garp arrived, they exchanged deep looks. Suddenly, Dragon threw the fruit basket forcefully toward Garp, who caught it easily.
"You're still a child, Dragon," Garp said with a wide smile.
Dragon said nothing, turned around, boarded the ship, and left. Garp then lowered his gaze to the basket, only to be shocked that it contained nothing but a beautiful baby whose appearance softened hearts. Inside the basket was a paper with the name Monkey D. Nova written on it.
Garp looked at the paper as the baby burst into laughter, veins popping on Garp's forehead.
"That stupid, ungrateful son makes me want to arrest him and crush his head! Why doesn't he take care of his children instead of dumping them on me?!"
Makino looked at the baby in the basket and burst with joy, her eyes filled with hearts.
"Gaaaarp-san! Look at him! He's so beautiful and delicate! He doesn't resemble Luffy at all! I want to eat him up!"
Garp angrily replied, "And why is he this soft? I bet he'll be weak and won't be fit to become a Marine in the future."
Then he looked ahead and shouted, "Fine! I'll take care of him and won't let any harm come to him. Come on, Makino, let's introduce Nova to his older brother, Luffy."

Inside Nova's mind, there was only one thought:
"What the hell is this? Why is Garp in front of me? Why am I inside a fruit basket? Why did I transfer into the body of a child who can't even train? What is happening?"
Before he could finish thinking, a screen appeared in front of him, wooden in color with pirate ship wheels at its corners.

Wait two years to unlock the gift package.
Nova cursed internally.
"Why the hell did I get this kind of system? And why does it have to slack off before opening the gift package?"

"Garp-san, be careful while handling Nova. He looks weak—don't be rough," Makino said.
Garp looked at the basket and apologized.
"I'm sorry, Makino. I'll entrust Nova's care to you. I need to focus on training Luffy to become an invincible Marine."
Makino replied, "Leave it to me, Garp-san."
Little Luffy came over with snot running from his nose and asked, "Grandpa, who's this?"
Garp replied loudly, "That's your younger brother, Luffy. You must take good care of him."
Luffy looked at the baby happily and said loudly, "Okay! I'll protect him with my life!"

Five years passed in the blink of an eye.
Luffy appeared sitting at the bar table beside a man wearing a white shirt with distinctive red hair—none other than Shanks.
"Nahhh, you'll never become a pirate, you little brat!" Shanks mocked.
Luffy suddenly got angry and shouted, "Shut up, Shanks! I'll become the strongest pirate ever! I'll find a huge treasure and become the Pirate King!"
The bar fell silent for ten seconds, then erupted in laughter.
Makino came out of the kitchen laughing, with a small, gentle child beside her—Nova. He had large eyes, black hair reaching his neck, soft white skin, and was holding a pirate doll with a wooden leg and an eye patch.
Nova spoke, "I believe in Luffy-nii-san. He will become a great pirate."
Luffy turned toward the voice, smiled widely, and said, "Good job, Nova. Your big brother will protect you."
Inside Nova's mind:
"Damn this system. It told me to wait two years, and now five years have passed and it still hasn't activated."

Shanks looked at Nova, walked over, and lifted him into his arms.
"How about coming with us on a trip around the world? Wouldn't that be nice?"
Nova thought, I'm not stupid enough to go with Shanks and be chased by that crazy old man across the New World.
But he said weakly, "Shanks-san, I'm afraid I'd slow you down."
Shanks hugged him tightly.

Luffy, still angry at Shanks, saw a box in front of him containing a fruit. He ate it and felt drum-like beats in his heart.
"Captain!" Lucky Roux shouted.
"Luffy ate the Gomu Gomu no Mi and became a rubber man!"
Shanks looked at Luffy, slowly put Nova down, then suddenly screamed,
"LUFFYYYY, YOU IDIOT! You've become a target for the Marines!"
Luffy's eyes popped out.
"Whaaaat?!"
And he started screaming.

Nova watched the scene and thought,
"What an emotional moment. That idiot Luffy doesn't know this fruit saved him and will be the reason for his superiority, along with the Will of D."
As he thought, the system screen appeared again.
[Sorry for the delay]
A cat was crossing the road.
Nova turned red and cursed the system in his mind.
"Damn system! Are you playing with me?!"
The system replied,
"What do you expect from a Lazy System? The more I slack off, the better the rewards. As compensation for the unjustified delay, here's a gift: Tom the Cat. Do you want to summon him now?"
Nova looked at the reward in shock, wondering what he would do with this useless cat that couldn't even catch a mouse.
"Summon."
A blue-furred British cat appeared, holding a hammer as if he had been trying to hit something.
Nova thought, He was definitely trying to catch Jerry and failed.
Nova spoke to him,
"So you're Tom. From now on, you're my pet, and we'll travel the world together. Do you agree?"
Tom looked shocked, then happily shook Nova's hand with both paws. Suddenly, his clothes changed into shorts, a shirt, and sunglasses—as if he were heading on a journey.
