Dex Restaurant.
Hanging up Carl's call, Dexter put away his phone and continued eating dinner with Bianca.
After a few bites, Dexter thought of something and smiled, asking Bianca, "Do you have any favorite singers?"
Bianca was stunned, not quite understanding what he meant. "Huh?"
"My shooting range and Western restaurant are both about to open. I'm planning to invite a few singers over for an opening party, to liven things up," Dexter explained with a smile.
Bianca was surprised. Then, she looked at Dexter with a meaningful gaze. "Can I ask you a question?"
"Of course," Dexter smiled back.
"Exactly how rich are you?" Bianca asked very seriously.
"Haha," Dexter was amused by Bianca's manner and laughed heartily. "Rich enough to support you for a lifetime."
"..." Hearing this, Bianca's beautiful cheeks turned red at a speed visible to the naked eye. She was dumbfounded, not knowing what to say, so she hurriedly lowered her head in panic and stuffed dinner into her mouth non-stop.
Dexter watched with a smile, finding it very amusing. He didn't tease her further and continued eating.
Not far away.
Veronica, who was wiping tables, heard the conversation just now and instantly felt her life was fxxking bitter. She really wanted to throw the rag and say fxxk it, I quit!
Vivian, however, didn't have this emotion. She was genuinely happy for Dexter and Bianca, feeling these two were really good together.
Time flew.
Only after finishing dinner did Bianca find her voice again. She said to Dexter very happily, "I think Maroon 5 seems pretty good."
Hearing this, Dexter nodded decisively with a brilliant smile. "As long as you like them. I'll try contacting them later."
Bianca smiled, truly happy. "Mm."
Before long.
Having made a dinner for Carl, the two went out and left.
Veronica, still wiping tables, sighed and couldn't help saying to Vivian, "We two are so pitiful, having to watch them show off their love."
"Hehe," Vivian laughed joyfully. "You can also find Kevin to show off love."
Veronica shook her head directly. "Kevin doesn't understand this."
"Then teach him," Vivian suggested.
The two chatted while working.
As they chatted, the topic shifted to washing dishes, and naturally, to Mandy.
"Yesterday and today, two days. Is Mandy really not coming?" Veronica had long changed her opinion of Mandy, this Milkovich, and actually missed her a bit.
"How about calling and asking?" Vivian said.
Veronica thought about it. "Yeah, I'll call later."
---
Mandy had no friends. She was huddled at home watching TV while missing Lip.
A die-hard romantic is very scary. Now that Lip was in juvie and couldn't be seen for the next month... Mandy's brain was almost entirely filled with Lip. She couldn't stop thinking about him, and her mood was incredibly low.
As for the job issue... Mandy hadn't thought about it at all until Veronica called.
Hearing Veronica mention work, Mandy's attention shifted slightly. Then, she suddenly realized a fact.
That is, in her heart, Lip was indeed far more important than that job.
Realizing this, Mandy bit her lip. "I probably won't go back."
"..." Hearing this, Veronica was truly speechless and genuinely couldn't understand.
After all, how could she understand?
Mandy had no other skills. This job at Dex Restaurant was really good for Mandy, a Milkovich.
Giving up this job? Then do what?
Revert to being the old Mandy?
Having worked together for so long, Veronica, who was actually quite good at respecting others' fates, fell silent for a moment but ultimately couldn't help asking, "Why? What exactly happened? If it's convenient, tell me, maybe I can help."
Mandy was silent for a few seconds. Then, because she indeed wanted to vent and really had no one else to talk to, she chose to speak up and roughly explained the situation.
After listening, Veronica felt her head buzzing, unable to comprehend.
Because of Lip?
What kind of reason is this?
These kids nowadays are truly ridiculous.
Veronica clearly realized how much weight Mandy placed on Lip. Not knowing how to persuade her, she could only say a few more casual words, suggesting Mandy think it through clearly.
Before long.
The call ended.
Mandy curled up on the sofa, lit another cigarette, took a few drags, and continued to miss Lip uncontrollably.
Just then.
Mickey, who had eaten something casually outside and driven around the grocery store, walked into the house drinking a beer.
Seeing Mandy in this depressed ghost-like state, Mickey couldn't stand it. "Are you just gonna rot at home like this?"
"Fxxk off!" Mandy opened her mouth and retorted unhappily.
Hearing this, Mickey immediately flipped Mandy the bird. "Fxxk you!"
Cursing once, Mickey went straight into the bathroom to shower.
Splash splash, finished washing. Mickey changed into a new set of clothes, put on the watch he bought specifically not long ago, cleaned himself up nicely, and prepared to go out.
"Where are you going?" Mandy saw him and asked in confusion.
"Going to the city to play, hit some bars," Mickey replied casually.
Mandy hesitated slightly, wanting to go out and distract herself too. "I'll go too."
"Fxxk off!" Mickey planned to go to a gay bar. He refused decisively and immediately, lifting his feet to leave as if escaping.
Die-hard romantic Comrade Mandy only bowed and scraped to the man she loved, not to Mickey. She opened her mouth and retorted immediately.
Mickey flipped Mandy the bird again without looking back, then walked quickly out of the house, got in his car, stepped on the gas, and moved toward downtown.

The Gallagher House.
Jimmy, in a very good mood, arrived. Entering the house, he saw Carl, Frank, and Liam. He skillfully ignored Frank and grinned at Carl. "Carl."
"Upstairs," Carl glanced askance at Jimmy and said directly.
"Alrighty," Jimmy didn't dislike Carl's attitude. Instead, he found Carl quite interesting. He responded with a smile and went thump thump thump upstairs.
Fiona was changing clothes in her room.
Jimmy walked in and hugged Fiona from behind. "Are you okay?"
A man who stays by your side, giving care and comfort during difficult times, can indeed easily make a woman develop a sense of dependence.
Fiona didn't know about the future, but right now, Fiona did rely on Jimmy quite a bit.
"Sigh, how can I be? It's like a bomb suddenly dropped on my head!" Fiona sighed and said, "First Lip, then this. I really can't handle it anymore."
In fact, Jimmy understood quite well and felt that it was truly rare for Fiona not to have collapsed yet.
"I'm here. I'll accompany you to solve this," Jimmy replied with a gentle tone.
Fiona felt warmth in her heart hearing this. She turned her head subconsciously and kissed Jimmy.
Jimmy nuzzled her opportunistically. "Now, let my big xx make you feel better first."
Hearing this, Fiona smiled. "I'm about to be late."
"Five minutes, quick battle," Jimmy said with a wicked smile.
Fiona could still squeeze out five minutes. Thinking for a moment, "Come on, five-minute man."
