Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: The man who can't move

Paradise

San Faldo Island

San Faldo, also known as the iron provider and the Holiday Island, currently does not have its everyday festivals; the port that is usually fully packed with a lot of merchants and shipping vessels currently only has 2 big ships that have the flag of the Revolutionary Army.

Currently the Revolutionaries deployed 2 of their cadre, the North Commander Karasu and the South Commander Lindbergh, as they are waiting for the Ship of the World Noble, who is currently sailing in the sea area of Namakura Island. As for why the World Noble is heading to San Faldo, it's to tour the island and maybe pick up some more wives on the way home.

Unfortunately for the Revolutionary Army, their high-profile move was discovered and already reported to the Marines. Sengoku even called Hanafuda and Mihawk, who is chilling on Jaya Island. When Mihawk heard the enemy was the mysterious Revolutionary Army, he quickly agreed to head to San Faldo. Hanafuda, who had some small skirmishes with the Revolutionary Army, headed there too.

The Marines deployed Vice Admiral Aokiji with two other elite vice admirals; with their lineup added to the CP agents that are guarding the Celestial Dragon, the Revolutionaries are on the losing side.

Hanafuda and his crew arrived first on San Faldo. As a warlord and an Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit user, the two commanders of the Revolutionary Army had a hard time just to keep him in check. At this stage, Karasu doesn't have his Logia Devil Fruit yet, and the weapons that Lindbergh had only did a small amount of damage to Hanafuda, who transformed into a massive T. rex coated in Armament Haki.

A revolutionary reported that 3 marine warships and a small coffin-shaped ship are rapidly approaching the island. The Revolutionary Army did the thing they can only do.

They gritted their teeth and slowly retreated while Lindbergh and Karasu bought time for them. As the marine warship came closer, the two ships of the Revolutionary Army successfully sailed away, heading to the coffin-shaped small ship.

But when they saw the flag and the man who was sitting on that small ship, they started to sweat, and their backs became wet with sweat.

"That's the strongest swordsman in the world, Dracule "Hawk-Eyes" Mihawk," Karasu said as he gritted his teeth.

Then Mihawk moved and unsheathed his blade and swung it towards one of the ships of the Revolutionary Army; a massive emerald-colored flying slash could be seen coming towards them very fast.

Lindbergh quickly pulled out a massive retractable shield that had diamond coating on its front; he and Karasu held it together while covering it with Armament Haki.

A loud explosion can be heard as Lindbergh and Karasu both flew out to the sea; the diamond-coated shield is too thin, but it still did its job—it protected them from being sliced apart.

"I still have a long way to go; looks like I have to train harder," Mihawk said as he looked at the diamond shield that stopped his attack. Mihawk controlled his small ship to go near the Revolutionaries, but a sudden strong wind began to blow. The ship of the marines and Hanafuda began to be blown back, and the two ships of the Revolutionary Army began to sail away powered by the wind. Mihawk's coffin ship didn't have any sails, so he just turned his ship.

When he is about to follow the Revolutionary Army, a man floating in the sky appears, blocking his way.

"Hawk-Eyes, we don't have past grudges, right? Why are you still going to chase my men?" Dragon said as he created a tornado on his hand.

"The Revolutionary Dragon—I was bored, and the call from Fleet Admiral Sengoku came at the perfect time. If you don't want me to chase those ships, then you'll have to entertain me," Mihawk said, and then the two of them started to fight.

On the distant Marine warship that can't get close to where Mihawk and Dragon are currently fighting, Marine Vice Admiral Aokiji, Stainless, and Momonga anchored their ships quickly while Aokiji froze the sea to secure the ships.

"Oh, what a spectacle! I didn't know that those two would meet at this sea." Suddenly they heard an excited voice, and then they saw a floating cloud flying above their ship. The terrifying part is they didn't even detect that there was someone flying there.

"This man called Dragon is really strong to survive that long in a fight with Big Brother Mihawk," Enel said as he watched the fight.

In just a few minutes Dragon's left hand is already bleeding; the only advantage he got is a small advantage in aerial battle. In terms of strength, speed, combat skills, and Haki, he was completely outclassed. His left hand was grazed by a slash of Mihawk, and he became wounded. Then he looked at the floating cloud flying silently above the marine warship, and his eyes quickly changed into fear. In the end, he gritted his teeth, and he flew higher; after all, his objective is done here.

Mihawk just watched him fly away; chasing that guy won't do him any good, only cause fatigue. He looked around and saw Raeven and Enel watching with the Marines, so he controlled his ship to go there.

"It ended quickly; what a shame," Raeven said while he was sitting on Strife. He had already prepared a lot of popcorn for this, but sadly when Dragon saw them, he bolted out very quickly.

"You scared him, Big Brother; that man is a Logia, right?" Enel asked.

"There's a high chance he is," Raeven said.

"You two are 'Thunder Lord' Enel and 'Shinigami' Raeven," Vice Admiral Stainless said.

"Why didn't you chase down that criminal?" He asked while shouting. Momonga tried to calm him down.

"It's your job to chase down criminals, right, marines? Also, watch your tone; don't talk like that to my big brother," Enel said as lightning began to crack around his body.

"Oi, oi, Enel, calm down. Whahahaha, you're scaring the Marines," Raeven said as he laughed, then he looked at the three vice admirals, and the atmosphere around them began to turn cold.

"Vice Admiral Stainless, my cloud won't be able to fly during that strong wind, you know. Also, you guys are doing nothing here, just watching Mihawk and Dragon have a go, and then you want me to chase them. It looks like the taxes being paid by the people are wasted on your salary," Raeven said, and Vice Admiral Stainless can only grit his teeth.

"Arara, Warlord Raeven, don't mind what my colleague said before; Vice Admiral Stainless has a very fierce attitude," Aokiji said as he diffused the situation. He can feel it; Enel's strength is higher than his own, and with Raeven and Mihawk here, the Marine Hunters of the past, if they really annoyed these guys, no one here will survive.

"Kuzan, tell your men to learn some manners. We didn't beg to become a Warlord and serve you guys; the world government recruited us, and based on the contract I signed, the only one who can request my help is Fleet Admiral Sengoku and the Five Elders themselves, and not some weaklings who can't do anything just by standing in my presence," Raeven said. After he said that, Mihawk stored his ship on his ring and jumped to Strife, then he looked at the Marines, who swallowed hard.

"I will keep them in check," Aokiji said, and then he looked at them and flew away. After they were gone, Aokiji sighed in relief, but Vice Admiral Stainless was still standing. Vice Admiral Momonga was about to reprimand him, but he saw that the man couldn't move at all.

After a while, Vice Admiral Stainless finally crashed down on the ground; he began to pant hard as his face started to regain its color.

"That man "Shinigami" Raeven's conqueror's haki is too much," he said as he got no strength to move at all.

"You're lucky that you only suffered this," Momonga said.

"To have that range and control of Conqueror's Haki, especially the technique he used to become undetectable, that man is really troublesome. We are lucky that most of the time he just stayed at his island to farm," Aokiji said. He didn't want to experience what Akainu experienced before.

"Call Sengoku-san and report to him what happened here. Luckily, we didn't suffer any casualties. Let's head back to San Faldo and help the citizens there," Aokiji said. The Marines quickly saluted, and they began to move out back to San Faldo.

On the side of the Revolutionary Army, Dragon finally caught up with Karasu and Lindbergh. The two of them are injured; both of them suffered some shallow and deep cuts around their bodies. Luckily, the two of them have strong bodies, and the shield absorbed a lot of damage.

"Dragon-san, we don't have any pursuers at all," a revolutionary said, which made Dragon sigh in relief. If that man, Dracule Raeven, really chased them down, then everyone here will be doomed.

"How are you two?" Dragon quickly headed towards where Karasu and Lindbergh were, and the two of them were currently covered by bandages.

"We managed to survive thanks to Lindbergh's diamond shield; you are wounded too, Dragon-san," Karasu said, and the doctor quickly cleaned the wound on Dragon's arm and bandaged it too.

"Hawk-Eye's strength is no joke; his attack barely grazed me, and it wounded my arm. You two are lucky you survived. Why did you even head in his direction in the first place? Also, who reported us? We perfectly shut down every communication system on the entire island," Dragon said. What was supposed to be a perfect rescue operation became a disaster.

"We didn't know that he is the one sailing that small coffin ship. As for how our operation got out, I think we had a mole," Lindbergh said.

"Let's head back to South Blue and deal with this mole; we need to stay low for a while," Dragon said as he stood up and headed outside.
