Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Aka Maru

"You useless trash, why aren't you moving? Go find that bastard quickly."

After several consecutive failures, Mikael grew increasingly anxious.

He was terrified that Kaxia might escape. If anyone misunderstood the situation, he wouldn't be able to escape death either.

The more he thought about it, the more he feared.

"I think we should find more people to help. We've been underestimating him all this time."

While Mikael was speaking, Mahaka seized the opportunity to interject.

"Find more people?"

Mikael gritted his teeth, his eyes wide with rage as he glared at Mahaka.

How many people had they already found?

How much had he sacrificed to distance himself from the death of Kaxia's father?

"His strength is extraordinary. I'm just offering an opinion. If he runs away, it's none of my business, do as you please."

Mahaka, seeing Mikael's eyes beginning to turn bloodshot, chose to back down.

The Law of bullying the weak and fearing the strong was deeply ingrained in his DNA.

He was condescending towards the weak, but would cower before powerful existences.

This was his Dao of survival.

Mikael looked at Mahaka.

He also sensed that this guy was completely terrified.

And looking at him, he felt the wound on his chest ache again.

"Scum, you have a target?"

Realizing that this was no time to save money, Mikael gritted his teeth and agreed.

"I know a professional Hunter who's very good at finding people, but he doesn't handle combat."

"If combat is needed, I can also find two assassins from the dark world, but their price won't be cheap. You know the strength of that brat."

Seeing Mikael nod, Mahaka took the opportunity to introduce them.

Secretly, some greedy thoughts were revealed.

Leaving skin when a beast passes, plucking feathers when a goose passes. The people he introduced, the money he handled, adding it up, it's nothing, right?

Just collecting a normal handling fee.

"You certainly dream big, hmph. I'll leave this matter to you. If you still can't handle it..."

"Don't blame me for being impolite."

Seeing that no one else was speaking, Mikael understood these people's greed and fear of death even better.

But he truly needed people now; it was impossible to drive everyone away.

He still agreed to Mahaka's request.

Of course, he already had an opinion of Mahaka in his heart.

"Don't worry, leave it to me." Mahaka nodded in agreement.

He immediately felt that his previous pain had not been in vain.

Time slowly flowed.

The city became more lively.

At this moment, Kaxia discovered an interesting target.

A delicate woman, dressed lavishly and adorned with various precious gold and silver jewelry, strolled through the streets, passing by luxury shops, occasionally glancing at them.

Several bodyguards followed her, and it was clear that others were watching from further away.

Most importantly, there were also two dogs beside this woman.

One was a 'licking dog', and the other was a large, reddish-brown dog nearly two meters tall at the shoulder.

"Mina-chan, whatever you like, I'll buy it for you, won't I?"

"Even if it's all the shops on this street, buying them all is no problem for me."

The 'licking dog' was dressed in a white suit, styled like a refined gentleman.

His strong 'Celestial Dragon' aura was very obvious; he clearly had no regard for others.

Although he dressed like a human, once one saw his pig-like face and greedy gaze fixed on the woman, most normal people wouldn't have a good impression.

"I told you, Nokrokris, don't call me Mina."

"Also, I just enjoy the fun of shopping. I lack nothing and don't need you to buy me things."

"If you have nothing to do, go back quickly. I'm not interested in playing any matchmaking games with you."

The delicate woman, Mina, said directly.

She had no interest in the 'licking dog' whatsoever.

"If you're not interested, I'll make you interested."

"Your Family's situation isn't good right now; they don't think so. Also, just call me Kari, Mina-chan."

Kari Nokrokris said smugly.

His greedy, lustful gaze continuously scanned Mina's body, as if she were an object.

"Heh..."

Mina glanced at him.

With an air of disdain, she directly entered a jewelry store with her bodyguards.

Kari Nokrokris, left behind, grimaced.

"Young Master, should we make a move?"

The bodyguards naturally knew their young master's character.

"No need. I just want to see her beg me in the end."

"Don't you agree, Aka Maru?"

"My stomach is upset again. Women are such a hassle, still shopping. So boring."

"Keep an eye on her until I get back."

Kari Nokrokris said, leaving the others and entering the jewelry store to go to the restroom.

Only the large Red Dog, Aka Maru, accompanied him.

Seeing the big dog move, Kaxia also found his opportunity.

He actually had no interest in that licking dog.

But there was no choice; that Aka Maru always followed the other party.

He slowly mingled with the shoppers, seizing the chance to follow them to the restroom.

The bodyguards were quite dedicated, clearly worried about accidents, and followed, clearing the area for their young master.

Perhaps accustomed to arrogance, there were only two bodyguards carrying pistols.

"Two people."

Having confirmed the number of people, Kaxia pretended to be going to the restroom.

However, before reaching the door, he was stopped.

"This one is not available. Go to another floor."

"Leave here."

The two bodyguards didn't pay much attention, as Kaxia, from his appearance, didn't seem like someone with astonishing combat power.

And in the next moment, they learned that judging people by their looks was a bad habit.

"Bang."

"Bang."

Kaxia, who was approaching, didn't stop. Instead, he moved faster and directly attacked.

With great experience, he grabbed their heads and smashed them against the wall.

Directly smashing a small pit, he covered their mouths, preventing them from making a sound.

After a few consecutive hits rendered both of them unable to resist, Kaxia finally let go.

They were just two bodyguards; he didn't aim for a killing blow. Whether they lived or died was up to them.

"Woof woof woof."

As soon as he entered the restroom, the first thing he saw was the enormous Aka Maru.

"Whoosh."

Following its warning barks, a burst of flames instantly appeared.

This was why Kaxia had targeted this big dog; earlier, he had seen this big dog attacking passersby on the road.

This dog's blood should be suitable for his first use of the Nen Tattoo.

It was still a Demonic Beast, after all.

Kaxia was forced out of the restroom by the flames.

Meanwhile, in one of the stalls inside, Young Master Kari thought his dog was acting up again.

"Aka Maru, stop barking. I'll give you meat when we get back."

"Don't go around eating people, or Dad will kill you."

He cursed in the restroom, but still heard Aka Maru growling as if threatened.

He was about to curse some more when he heard gunshots.

"Bang bang bang..."

Bullets imbued with Nen had already passed through the restroom door, directly entering the restroom. Within this confined space, it was difficult for the enormous Aka Maru to dodge.

"Woof woof." Hit repeatedly, the pain made Aka Maru shriek, and its beastly eyes turned bloodshot, making it even more terrifying.

Pain, blood, and the threat of death caused the Demonic Beast Aka Maru's ferocious bestiality to completely erupt and become uncontrollable.
