There was only one girl on Sasuke's mind. Ino Yamanaka had been the only girl he'd consistently considered dating throughout their genin days. Now that he was a special chunin, he needed to grow the balls to ask her on a date. So he'd waited till that night to ask her, the day before their date.
Sasuke was headed to the Yamanaka flower shop. He was hoping that Ino's father was not there, but he needed to ask the girl out. Ino was not a great ninja, but Sasuke could work with it, especially if he wanted to restore the clan. As he walked the street with flowers, girls his age seemed to look at him.
He'd forgotten that when he didn't run on the roofs, girls liked him. He hopped onto a roof and ran to the Yamanaka flower shop. The flower shop had a garden of flowers out front and the clan symbol on the roof. Sasuke walked into the shop and found Ino potting a plant.
She looked up, in her apron, to see Sasuke. Ino's blue eyes widened, and she smiled slyly next.
"Aww, Sasuke, are those for me?"
Sasuke turned Sharingan red. She'd hit the mark perfectly. Ino realized that her teasing had gotten to the truth. She immediately stood up and walked to Sasuke.
Sasuke said, struggling with every word, "Would you like to go out with me tomorrow night? It will be a joint date with Naruto and Raito."
Ino grinned and said, "Of course, Sasuke-kun. What's the dress?"
"The dress?"
"What kind of place are we going?"
Sasuke thought about it; they'd all not expected everyone to succeed, and they probably had different ideas. So he decided to tell her to wear something casual.
"Something casual should work; it's nowhere too crazy."
"Okay, I'll take these then."
Ino looked at the flowers only to find her name made with blue lilies. Ino grinned madly and gave Sasuke a hug. Sasuke blushed but returned the hug nonetheless. Sasuke left, remembering a flowery scent.

It was the night before the group was supposed to meet with their dates. Raito was lying down, relaxing, when his door opened. In the doorway was his aunt Kisari. The woman who'd taken up the nickname 'Queen of Gossip' had found out.
"So, I hear there's a little something happening tonight. I've got a gift for you. Girls like guys who smell good, so don't smell bad."
Kisari handed him a perfume bottle. Raito sniffed and found it to have a very nice scent. It was a vanilla scent mixed with something thicker; he found it extremely satisfying to smell. So he decided to get ready.
On the other side of town, Naruto had a whole team of clones, who'd spent the last two days learning about his hair. They were getting his hair cut done and clipping his nails. He had to look good. He would not be outshined by Raito or Sasuke.
As he did so, Kakashi appeared at the window. The man's one eye said he approved of Naruto's new grooming habit.
But he said, "I see you've become all pretty now. I'd suggest wearing some jewelry, and don't wear your jumpsuit."
Sasuke exited Naruto's bathroom dressed in a nice kimono and wearing rings. The kimono had the Uchiha fan on it, but it was lined with iron studs. He'd also had a clone do his hair, as he'd changed it up, having it fall down to his jaw.
Kakashi laughed before saying, "Good luck, you two! Don't do anything I wouldn't."
Naruto grinned and waved the future Hokage off. Sasuke grinned at Kakashi too. The Hokage leapt off the building. Naruto let his clones put his haori on, which he'd purchased just the day before. It had the kanji for fire written on its back with a red spiral on each side of the character.
