I woke to William's absence,that bastard I call a son left without saying a word,but that didn't bother me,what bothers me was that he left without dropping the copy of the will,the will written by Richard's mom.
"Hey William,how are you?" I asked over the phone when his line finally connected after several attempts.
"Mom,what do you want,stop pretending to be nice," he said sharply.
"Well,I tried,...you left without giving me a copy of the will, what's going on?,are you backing out?"
"I'm not mom,lets just say i found another way of going around it"he replied
"Does your new plan involve me getting my house, William?"
"Mom ,I don't have time for this " the call disconnected before I could say another word.
I knew I couldn't trust him,he is just the same as his father,the only difference was that Richard is a more experienced devil.
I have to do this on my own. I already threatened Richard,and knowing him, he's already pulling some strings,but this time, I will definitely not lose to him because I know where or rather who to start from.
"Hey, come over here " I motioned the butler,he was one of Richard's undercover thugs, I'm sure he must know something.
"Good morning ma'am" he bowed.
"Save your greetings to yourself Nathan,we both know you don't mean it"

"I don't want to hear it Nathan,..the boy left the day I came here,who is he?"
He looked me in the eyes then suddenly looked away when my eyes met his,it was as if he was deciding whether to be honest or tell a blatant lie like always."He's a worker at the firm ma'am".
"Don't lie to me Nathan"
"Ma'am, I assure you,I'm not"he replied
"Well then,where is he now?"
"At St Marks hospital ma'am,an incident happened at the hotel"
"Alright you may leave now" I watched him as he left the living room,why was he so forthcoming with me though,was he feeding me with lies?
Whatever his reasons may be,I do have to check it out,the boy knows something that might help me out.

I got his room number from the hospital reception,it wasn't hard,the hospital was owned by the family and I approved the employment application of basically 60 % of the staff.
"Hello Bob how are you "
"William's mom?What are you doing here, Miss Helen?" He struggled to speak as he raised himself from the hospital bed and sat upright.
"I came to see you,I heard you were ill"
"I doubt that's your reason,but if so , thank you,you can be on your way now"he replied scornfully.
"Don't you think that's rude?,you do remember I'm your boss's wife_"
"Ex wife" he cut in.
I was surprised by his nerve at first but that didn't concern me much. Why was he being so defensive,he sounded like a hen clutching her chicks.
I was done with miss nice,I got up and locked the door, tossing the key into my handbag.
"What are you doing?" He asked, already agitated,"Nurse!!, doctor!!" He screamed.
I rushed over and held him by the throat as he struggled to loosen himself from my grip with the little strength he had .
"Are you going to tell me what you know about Richard or do you want to die in my hands"
He choked"what are you talking about?,I don't know anything, he's just my boss".
I pressed harder that her was almost out of breath then he blurted it out,the most unexpected but yet expected revelation "He's gay,he's my boyfriend, that's all I know I promise"
I let go of his neck dumbfounded,was that it all this while,our failed marriage?,the hitting,the miscarriage,the hate,all because he was gay.
I didn't say another word,to be frank,I had nothing to say,we were together for so long and I didn't even see the signs,how stupid could I be.
I picked up my handbag, unlocked the door and left without looking back,as I they all stared at me , the swamp of doctors In front of the room,they heard Bob screaming and rushed over to meet the door locked.
Could this be my silver lining, exposing to the society that the homophobic CEO and Lawyer is secretly gay,...naaaa,this will not be it, everyone will get over it soon enough.
I have to get more , if I must get what I want I have to be thorough.

"Get my bags packed,I will fly out tonight " I ordered the house staff immediately I got home. I'll be going to London,I know the right person to give this information to, she'll help me get things straight,but in the meantime,I have to get out of here before Richard.
"Helen,Helen!!!!!!" Richard's voice thundered from downstairs.
I walked out of the room to face him,I wasn't scared of him anymore,it was wise to try to run but since he's here ,we might as well get on with the craziness.
"How dare you Helen?!,How dare you lay your filthy hands on Bob!" he was fuming with anger,his fists already clutched.
"You're so pathetic Richard, you're screaming out here,all because of a male prostitute you homosexual_"
Before I could finish my last phrase,a heavy blow landed on my chin. Before I could retaliate,he kicked me down and began to rain blows on me,he continued,punch after punch until Nathan summoned the courage to drag him off me .
"Fuck you!, and get the hell out of my house!"he spat on me.
And there I lay,weak as I have always been,the memories of the torture I endured during our marriage began to flash before my eyes,but I wasn't going to give up and become helpless this time. I must get what is mine.
I picked up my phone and dialed the number of the person I could trust"Hello Dan"
"Hello ma'am"
"Get me every information you can find on Bob Donovan"
