| Morning, in the classroom...
*Students chatting.
'I hope you'll enjoy the heck out of your college days.' The father's words echoed in her thoughts.
"AaaAhh.. I know that was what I wanted to do, but have I been?" Bernadetta asked herself, as she gazed around. "Just how have I been enjoying my time at college, anyway?"
*She recalled.
'I am -local college photographer/Journalist, and you're looking at Agnes here. Or Aggy, if you favor that!'
'My name is Sachi, and -brRreh! Is tHis`s true? You wAnt`t to talk wIth`h me?'
'You_ were my painter's muse. You unique. You radiate, radiant pure soul.'
'Kichi, she's my friend. My Shiba-Inu workout-Reh_ partner!'
'GrRr!'
(...!)
'Now that I really think on it all, could those people be my..... ' She began to realize, as her thoughts were interrupted.
"What's up?! -With those looks you were giving, I mean?" Agnes jokingly greeted.
Bernadetta raised her voice, "Agnes- Agnes, about me and you. Are we sort of like real friends, or something less than that? *Braces herself*"
*Agnes chuckled.
"For me, I see any-ONE of my past interviewees as friends. But, just call them 'associates', so unrealized problems can be avoided." She expressed, as she fiddled with her bag.
"OooOo, honestly, I think I get what you meant." She replied, trying to hide her joy. "Thank you Agnes, I think?"
Looking content, Agnes explained, "Okay, I'm heading for my photography club. And, I'll see you later."
*Desk clatters.
"Did you say, you are in a photography club??" She asked, as she stood up.
| A bit later, in the college photography room.
*Creaaak, click!
"I'm real sorry, I didn't bring you here, sooner!" Agnes exclaimed, as she set her bag down.
"AaAhh! Is this, one of those darkrooms people used to talk about???" Bernadetta asked, as her eyes were adjusting.
Focused, Agnes responded, "Mhm, you're right. The modern person will argue, darkrooms are long outdated. But no, I can't agree."
"Really??? Ueh, uhh. Why is it, you take all these photos anyway?" She anxiously asked.
As Agnes set up her photos, she answered, "There's lots of reasons. Some, are for my private keepsakes. Others, are for our club headlines created by me and----"
*Creakkk.
"Good day to you I hope, Agnes?" A quiet girl with long black hair entered.
She responded, "It's been so far. Bernadetta! (-!-) That's Yayoi. She's our club's final member, and who writes our headlines."
'Final member???' Bernadetta thought, mockingly.
"AaAHhha!? *Cowers* I am sorry, but still... it is nice to meet you???" She tensely greeted, as she backed into the corner like a lunatic.
"You gotta take it easy, Yayoi." Agnes expressed, as she elaborated, "DON'T -worry! She's a new friend, and a roommate of mine."
"A friend? No more concerns, than?" She said, as she inched closer. "Is it appropriate for me to presume, you could join this club of ours?"
Perplexed, Bernadetta said, "Aeh... To be honest, I can not understand her that well. Is it just me, or is she speaking sort of off?"
(...)
Sighing thankfully, Agnes answered, "Mrh-nrh! It's isn't just you, my friend. It took me a little while to adjust too.
It has to do with her quiet personality, and_ nonstop questioning tone."
"Aah..... " She uttered in awe.
"And also, she's asking if you intend to become another club member." Agnes summarized, too quickly.
"Ha-hah.. Am I going to become a part of your club... (. . . . !) WH-WHat?!?" Bernadetta shouted with shock.
| A few days later, in the next college headlines.
A tiny column with Bernadetta's photo read, "Could this be reality? Photography club 3rd member joins!?!"
| To be continued!
