Chapter 8: Deceiving Uchiha Fugaku
"Do you have evidence?"
Uchiha Fugaku poured a cup of tea for Uzumaki Mizuki, then looked at him seriously and asked . Based on the words just spoken, he felt that Uzumaki Mizuki was definitely not sent by the village to frame him . This matter was extremely important to him, as the safety of the Uchiha Clan was his responsibility .
## The Evidence of the Chains
"Snap!"
"You should know these chains. The Uzumaki Clan's hidden technique, **Adamantine Sealing Chains**!" "Surviving members of the Uzumaki Clan found me and helped me unlock the memories my parents sealed within me."
Mizuki began his bluff and snapped his fingers . The **Gate of Babylon** opened a channel behind his back, releasing **Enkidu**, which floated behind Mizuki like a viper . Uchiha Fugaku's eyes widened as he seriously observed the three chains .
"So there are survivors of the Uzumaki Clan!!"
Uchiha Fugaku accepted Mizuki's words and was shocked by the revelation .
## The Conspiracy Against the Clans
"The Third Hokage can't escape responsibility for the destruction of the Uzumaki Clan back then," Mizuki continued . "And I don't need to mention the Senju Clan. Clearly the strongest clan in Konoha, yet they withered away rapidly in just over a decade."
"These things are inextricably linked to Konoha's higher-ups," Mizuki added, aiming to fool Fugaku into thinking they were on the same side .
"So, is it true that the person who caused the Nine-Tails' rampage will team up with someone to deal with the Uchiha Clan?" Fugaku believed most of it now and asked quickly, realizing the gravity of the situation .
"Of course it's true. I risked exposure to find you; would I do that just to lie?" Mizuki said while retracting the chains .
"Who is that person in the Uchiha Clan, and why does the village want to do this?" Uchiha Fugaku couldn't quite understand .
## The Hundred Million Ryo Deal
"I need payment for knowing these things. Our relationship isn't good enough for me to give you this news for free," Mizuki said, looking calmly at Fugaku . He wasn't here to do charity, but to gain opportunities to become stronger .
"What do you want? Does this represent cooperation between the Uzumaki and Uchiha clans?" Fugaku asked solemnly .
"One hundred million Ryo for the intelligence on this matter, plus a solution idea included later," Mizuki stated directly . He didn't ask for the land deeds yet, as Fugaku wouldn't agree, so he started with money to establish a transaction relationship .
"One hundred million Ryo... isn't that number a bit too high?" Fugaku hesitated at the figure .
"The head of an **Elite Jonin** is 35 million Ryo. Can't the Uchiha Clan with so many people bring out this small amount?" Mizuki countered . "The enemy won't give you much reaction time. The sooner you act, the better. If you want to trade, place the money in my house's toilet between 1 PM and 3 PM on weekdays."
"As a Jonin, avoiding the ANBU to do this shouldn't be a big problem for you," Mizuki instructed . "Once I see the money, the solution will be placed in the toilet the next day."
## The Shadow Clone Transaction
"By the way, as payment for telling you this information today, giving me a scroll of the **Shadow Clone Technique** shouldn't be a big problem, right?" Mizuki suddenly added, realizing he lacked this specific Ninjutsu, which was truly a divine skill .
"Shadow Clone Technique? I'll write it down now!" Although Fugaku thought this technique shouldn't be an issue for an Uzumaki, he didn't pry and quickly wrote down the seals for the Shadow Clone on a scroll .
After receiving the scroll, Mizuki put it directly into the **Gate of Babylon** right in front of Uchiha Fugaku, leaving him wide-eyed with shock .
## The Exit Performance
Then, Mizuki dipped his fingers into the tea Fugaku had poured and patted the liquid onto his eyes; the warm tea turned his eyes red . "Do this as soon as possible. If you aren't afraid of the risk, feel free to delay a while longer," Mizuki said calmly despite his red eyes .
"Thank you. Next time I fight Sasuke, I'll be a bit more careful!"
Mizuki opened the office door and spoke in a slightly sorrowful tone . He left with tears in his eyes under the gaze of many Police Force members. The ANBU outside saw Mizuki come out with red eyes and sighed in relief, assuming it was just a child's apology, and quickly followed him .
