Chapter 172 - Chapter 172: Unexpected Guests!

"Nether White Tiger!"

Wu Siduo's voice rang out—cold, resolute.

Facing Class Zero's overwhelming might, she unleashed her ultimate trump card.

Golden and black light erupted from her body, fusing into an eerie dark-gold aura that enveloped her.

Her white fur turned crystalline, shimmering like spun glass—ethereal, deadly.

Flash!

Wu Siduo vanished—replaced by a translucent white tiger, five meters long, twin wings sprouting from its ribs.

It stood proud in the forest, dark-gold runes swirling across its form, icy eyes radiating soul-crushing pressure.

"A self-spirit fusion," Fang Yang stated calmly, recognition flashing in his eyes.

Tang Wulin and the others gaped in awe.

Self-Spirit Fusions were legends—requiring twin martial souls to harmonize into one.

Rarer than phoenix feathers—centuries might pass without one appearing.

And far deadlier than ordinary fusion skills—controlled by a single mind, unified in purpose.

But the cost was immense:

Soul power will be drained to exhaustion, and any potential spiritual backlash, crippling.

"ROAR!"

The Nether White Tiger howled—sonic waves laced with soul force shaking the forest.

"Fall back. Leave this to me," Fang Yang ordered, voice serene.

"Understood, Captain," they retreated instantly—faith absolute.

"Nether White Tiger Slash!"

Wu Siduo's voice boomed from the beast's maw.

Black-and-white energy coalesced into its claws.

Wings flared—the tiger became a blur of light, phantom blades cleaving toward Fang Yang!

"Well struck," Fang Yang murmured.

He raised his right hand:

"Heavenly Flame Scepter!"

An ancient scepter materialized—runes pulsing with abyssal power, a black-flame gem blazing at its tip.

He tapped the scepter forward:

"Void Devour."

Black fire erupted—swallowing the phantom blades whole.

The flames surged—engulfing the tiger's massive form.

"So… strong…"

Its final thought, with disbelief etched in dying eyes.

Her ultimate strike—annihilated without effort.

Wu Siduo—ELIMINATED!

Genius Squad—wiped out.

Silence descended on the forest.

Then—applause echoed.

"Bravo! Truly magnificent!"

Three figures stepped from a silver spatial rift.

- A boy their age—smirking, clapping lightly

- A black-robed youth—calm, grounded

- A cold-eyed youth—posture rigid as steel.

"Alright, Xi—put the rest to sleep," the leader said casually.

"Done," the robed boy nodded, raising his hand:

"Dream Domain."

A dreamlike aura rippled outward—all the other students collapsed, lost in slumber.

"Who are you?" Fang Yang stepped forward, gaze sharp.

"Qian Zhenzang," the leader grinned, carefree.

"Heir of the Qian Family of the Spirit Pagoda."

"Qian Family?" Fang Yang mused inwardly.

The Spirit Pagoda was ruled by Qiangu and Phoenix Familys—where did this Qian Family come from?

Gu Yue leaned close, whispering: "Fang Yang—the Qian Family is tied to Senior Liu Yang."

Memory clicked—Liu Yang's words echoed:

"The Seven Consciousnesses have schemed for ten thousand years…"

"You understand now," Qian Zhenzang smiled, reading Fang Yang's realization.

"Then—what's your purpose here?" Fang Yang pressed.

"Ah—" Qian Zhenzang rubbed his nose, sheepish.

"Last time at the Heavenly Spirit Tower, I wanted to meet you but something held me up and I arrived too late."

"I've always regretted it. So today—I came to properly introduce myself!"

"You staged this… just to say hello?" Fang Yang deadpanned, incredulous.

"Exactly!" Qian Zhenzang beamed, unrepentant.

"Fine," Fang Yang sighed, resigned.

"Your companions?"

"My teammates," Qian Zhenzang gestured:

"This is Xi—from War God Hall."

(To the black-robed youth)

"And Shuang Jingchen."

(To the cold youth)

"I see," Fang Yang nodded.

"How'd you enter this simulation?" Tang Wulin asked, curious.

"My martial soul has spatial properties," Qian Zhenzang explained openly.

"Understood," Tang Wulin murmured, satisfied.

"Well—now I've met you, so we're go," Qian Zhenzang waved, silver rift reopening.

"Fang Yang—see you at the Spirit Pagoda!"

They stepped through—vanishing like mist.
