The three pushed aside the portrait of the fat lady and climbed out of the hole.
"Who is it that goes out at this hour?" The plump lady opened her blurry eyes, glanced at the three departing dark figures, and grumbled in dissatisfaction.
The three of them remained silent and walked quickly down the corridor toward the one where the tapestry depicting the giant beating Barnabas was located.
"Is this the place you're talking about?" George asked in a low voice, gazing at the wall opposite the tapestry.
"Yes, right here. You need to concentrate on thinking about the location you need and walk past that wall three times. A door will then appear on the wall." Albert gestured for the twins to stand aside, then began to concentrate, preparing to open the entrance to the Room of Requirement.
However, when he passed the wall three times, he found that there was no door on the wall.
"No door?" Fred and George both looked at Albert with puzzled expressions.
Albert stared at the wall opposite the tapestry, falling into a brief silence. Before the twins could speak again, he reached out and gave them a push, signaling everyone to leave quickly.
"What happened?"
After the three of them walked a short distance, Fred stopped and asked, puzzled, "Was it you...?"
"There's someone inside. There's someone in the house who can grant your request." Albert said confidently. "We can't open the door from the outside only if there's someone inside, unless you can guess which room they're in."
"Are you sure you didn't open it wrong?" George asked suspiciously.
"Impossible, I've been in there several times already," Albert shook his head. "Besides, I have no reason to lie to you; it would be pointless."
The twins looked at each other, thinking that Albert had no reason to joke at this time, and that the other person didn't seem to be joking.
"Who do you think is inside?" George asked curiously.
"I don't know, it's probably a couple. After all, it's a great place for couples to go on dates, and no one will bother them," Albert said casually. "However, there are probably very few people who know about this place."
"Why?" Fred asked, puzzled.
"Would you be willing to share secrets with too many people?" George couldn't help but roll his eyes.
"That's right," Albert nodded. "The Room of Requirement is a magical place; whatever kind of place you need, it will provide you with that place."
"Is it really that amazing?" the two asked in unison.
"What else?" Albert said in a low voice. "Let's try again another time. Of course, if you don't believe me, just consider it me lying to you."
"Why not?" Fred said. "That will be our secret base from now on."
"Have you figured out how you're going to use it?" Albert countered.
"No," George thought for a moment and said, "At least, when we go on our night out, we don't have to worry about being left outside the lounge overnight."
"Look at you, that's all you've got," Fred said disdainfully.
"And what about you?" Albert countered.
"I...haven't decided yet," Fred muttered.
"How dare you say that to me?" George said disdainfully.
"And you?" The two of them looked at Albert at the same time.
"Me?" Albert paused for a moment. "From now on, you can come here to brew potions, practice magic, find a quiet place to do your homework, or make anything."
"You can also find a urinal here when you need to urinate."
"It's also fine to do on a date."
"Tell me, do you have a girl you like and are planning to leave George behind?" Albert asked righteously.
"Why do you make it sound like I've been abandoned?" George asked, speechless.
"Stop fooling around." Fred couldn't help but roll his eyes, changing the subject, "We'll take you to see other places first. We know a lot of hidden passages. We'll go to the library later!"
"Well, that's a good idea." Albert nodded in agreement with the twins' suggestion, which would allow them to take the opportunity to speed up their exploration of Hogwarts.
As for who exactly was using the Room of Requirement, Albert didn't think it was a couple, although he couldn't rule out that possibility, but he had other ideas in mind.
Who is the most suspicious person at Hogwarts?
The answer is undoubtedly the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.
Although Bardbrod made a good impression on Albert, every Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts was suspicious:
From Voldemort's henchman, writer-turned-conman, werewolf, fake former Auror but real undercover agent, troublemaking Ministry of Magic toad, double agent, to the Death Eater siblings in the end.
Actually, Albert suspected Professor Brod because they had encountered him here before.
Could it be another one of Voldemort's minions or something?
Albert started to have wild thoughts, but quickly shook them off.
Few Death Eaters would want to talk to a Muggle wizard. After all, it's an undeniable fact that Death Eaters dislike Muggle wizards.
"This way…" Fred led the way, and the three of them stopped in front of the knight statue. The two of them showed Albert how to use the password to open the secret passage.
For the rest of the time, the three of them wandered around the castle. Albert was quite pleased with the progress of their exploration, and after George showed him the secret passage leading out of the castle, he couldn't help but wonder if Sirius Black might have used this passage to sneak into the castle a few years later.
"Peeves is on the third floor. Do you think we should use it to wake Filch?" Fred suggested suddenly as he stopped to look at the map. "It would be fun to wake Filch up and have him look for us. He probably just fell asleep not long ago."
The two looked at Albert, waiting for his opinion.
"Alright, but where are you planning to hide? Don't tell me you're planning to play hide-and-seek with Filch in the castle." Albert agreed.
"We can cause Filch some trouble, and with your Disillusionment Charm, he definitely won't be able to catch us." Fred pulled a bag of dung bombs from his pocket and winked at Albert, looking like this guy had come prepared.
"Okay, so what are you planning to do?"
"You guys go invisible first, then watch me." Fred disappeared in a flash.
"Come on!" Albert raised his wand and gently tapped George on the head. The latter shuddered and was surprised to find that his body had become one with his surroundings.
"That's so cool." George said excitedly as he examined his body with the glowing charm. "I bet even if I stood right under Filch's nose, he wouldn't be able to catch me."
"It's best not to take the risk; my Disillusionment Charm isn't very sophisticated," Albert cautioned himself after using the charm. "If Filch looks closely, he can still spot it."
The two had only exchanged a few words when they heard Pipi Ghost's roar coming from the other side of the corridor: "Students don't sleep, wandering around in the middle of the night!"
"Last time, when we were out for a night stroll, we ran into Peeves, and that guy did the same thing," George winked at Albert. However, he forgot that he had a Disillusionment Charm on him, so no one else could see the expression on his face.
Let me recommend a reading app I've been using recently: [Mimi Reading app]. It has a wide selection of books, a comprehensive library, and fast updates!
Soon, Fred rushed over, but George grabbed him and pulled him into the secret passage behind the portrait.
"That's awesome, I didn't even notice you guys." Fred looked the two of them over and said excitedly, "Albert, cast the Disillusionment Charm on me."
