A three-foot layer of ice doesn't form in a single day.
The terrible relationship between the Weasley twins and Filch was indeed not without reason.
Yesterday, George and Fred spent the whole night discussing how to get revenge on Filch and make the old man suffer. In the end, even Lee Jordan joined in the discussion.
And then what happened?
The three of them stayed up all night and couldn't get up in the morning.
Finally, it was Albert who returned to the dormitory after breakfast and woke them up one by one to prevent them from being late for their morning herbalism class.
"So sleepy." George covered his mouth to yawn, holding a slice of bread in his hand, eating as he walked.
"I knew I shouldn't have discussed all that nonsense with you guys." Li Qiaodan finished off the piece of bread in his hand, then stared at the untouched piece of bread in Fred's hand and asked, "Give it to me if you're not going to eat it, I'm not full."
"Who said I don't want any?" Fred quickly stuffed a slice of bread into his mouth, took a bite, and asked, "Want some more?"
Li Jordan looked at Fred with disdain, then turned his head away and refused to look at him again.
"By the way, you two talked for so long last night, what plans did you come up with?" Albert asked casually.
"We're planning to throw a few dung bombs at Filch's office door," Fred said, his voice trembling with excitement.
"That's it?" Albert was speechless.
You've been discussing this all night, and this is all you've come up with?
Just as they were on their way to Greenhouse No. 1, they suddenly heard a scream coming from the passageway ahead. The group looked at each other in surprise. When they went over, they found Pippi floating in the sky, holding an ink bottle and blowing ink beads at the passing students.
Some people were indignant and threw crumpled paper at the little monster, trying to drive it away.
Mischievous Ghost easily dodged the paper ball and chuckled at him. To retaliate against someone throwing things at him, he even spat out ink from his mouth, smearing the other person's face with it.
The man's face was contorted with rage, but he couldn't do anything about the mischievous ghost. In the end, everyone could only cover their heads with books and run quickly down the corridor.
"Peeves, are you a ghost?" Albert looked at the mischievous man in front of him. This was the first time he had seen Peeves. The guy had a pair of evil black eyes and a big mouth, but he was very small and wore a hat covered with bells on his head.
They exchanged glances and realized he was a guy with a wicked sense of humor.
"What do you think?" Pippi the Ghost stared at Albert and the other three, a wicked smile creeping across his face, sending chills down their spines.
"Obviously not, a ghost can't pick up an ink bottle!" Albert drew his wand and waved it forward, shouting, "Protect yourself!"
The large amount of ink splashed towards the four was blocked by Albert's Ironclad Curse.
Even Pipi Ghost was stunned, never expecting that he would actually fail.
"You brat." After the ink bottle was deflected by the Ironclad Charm, Peeves made a rude gesture at Albert and flew away.
"No wonder everyone hates Pikachu." Li Qiaodan was furious as he looked at the ink splattered all over his body.
"Clean it all up!" Albert raised his wand and pointed it at the ink on the ground. The Cleansing Charm made most of the ink disappear.
"Actually, there's no need to clean it up. Maybe we should leave more footprints in the hallway." The twins exchanged glances and cheerfully stopped Albert. After all, Filch was the one who would clean the hallway, and Peeves was the culprit behind all this, so it had nothing to do with them.
"Forget it, let's go!" Albert shook his head. "Be careful not to be late."
"How did you do that?" George asked curiously as they arrived at the entrance of Greenhouse One.
"You mean the Ironclad Curse?" Albert looked around at the students crowded at the entrance of Greenhouse Number One. Most of them had suffered at the hands of Peeves, and their clothes had ink stains on them.
"The Ironclad Spell?" Frederick murmured thoughtfully. "I feel like I've heard it somewhere before."
"The Ironclad Charm is a fairly practical defensive spell; it can block most physical and magical attacks," Albert casually explained, having already seen Professor Pomona Sprout approaching. Everyone automatically made way for the Hufflepuff Headmistress to open the door to Greenhouse Number One.
"Where did you learn that from?" Li Qiaodan asked curiously. "You know a lot of spells."
"I found this in an extra book I bought. I thought it was useful, so I learned it. It took me quite a bit of time." Albert told a little lie; the Ironclad Charm was learned directly by spending experience points.
After all, there's no harm in having a spell that can protect you.
"It must be really difficult for us. But then again, it's so cool that you actually learned it." George walked into the greenhouse with admiration on his face. "Once you learn it, you won't have to worry about anyone casting a curse on you."
Albert couldn't help but roll his eyes. At the level of Hogwarts students, it was just a bunch of novices pecking at each other.
"What's wrong with you guys?" Cedric Diggory, standing opposite Albert, stared in astonishment at his classmate who was covered in ink.
"It's Peep, he just spilled ink in the hallway. You're lucky, he just left," Fred replied irritably, his pants also splattered with ink.
"Open 'A Thousand Wonderful Herbs and Mushrooms,' and today's lesson will give you a general overview of what herb class covers and what you should learn from it." Pomona Sprout was a short, plump witch with a kind smile on her face. In the first lesson of herb class, she taught them to recognize some of the herbs in the book and their uses.
Albert felt that herbalism was similar to Muggle botany, where students needed to learn how to care for and utilize plants, and understand their magical properties and applications.
Many plants can be used as ingredients in potions and medicines, while others possess unique magical effects.
Of course, the most representative example is white safflower.
Dictamnus dasycarpus is a plant with magical properties. It can be used to make potions and also has strong healing effects.
Pomona explained to them that because not all wounds can be healed with magic, White Fresh has made a great contribution to healing.
Wizards in ancient times knew how to use licorice to heal themselves; they would chop it up and apply it to their wounds.
As for modern wizards, they mention the essence of white cinnamon, saying that just a little bit can effectively treat wounds, and wounds treated with white cinnamon will not leave scars.
The only regret is that there are not many wild Dictamnus dasycarpus left, and most of them need to be cultivated artificially. How to take care of Dictamnus dasycarpus is one of their main courses this semester, and it is also a required subject for their exams.
