We stepped into the restaurant together, my hand around his arm.
The waitress showed us to our table, and as we sat down she went to get our menus.
She came back, handed us the menus and as Keifer was looking at his, she was looking at him like she wanted to devour him whole.
Keifer: I'll get the steak... Medium rare
Waitress: yes sir...
Keifer: Jay... Order...
Jay: oh yeah... Chicken salad please...
The waitress just nodded
Waitress: any drinks for the gentleman?
Keifer: ladies first... Jay... Anything to drink?
Jay: a strawberry lemonade please...
Keifer: I'll have.... The lime lemonade...
Waitress: yes sir...
Then the waitress left...
Keifer: Jay...
Jay: yes?
Keifer: do you think I should request for another server?
Jay: why?
