Chapter 8
My morning alarm mocked me... Like always... But I have to go to school. I went to freshen up and went downstairs to the kitchen where I found Aries waiting
Aries: Jay hurry up we will be late
Jay: okay okay
I took an apple from the kitchen counter amd went to school with Aries. We said our goodbye's at the school gate and he went to his class. For me, Maya was already waiting
Maya: Morning tornado girl
She said as i took a coffee from her hand
Jay: morning coffee fairy
Maya: the tornado was not that bad today?
Jay: Mom was already off for work so it was only me and Aries so it was not that bad...
We walked to class as the bell will ring any minuite and as checked my locker i did not find roses... I found tulips... Tulips? Why? And... Chocolate... And something else... A hair tie... What? And of course a note that said
Note: tulips couse you blush pink like the tulips, chocolate couse I wish you were sweet like chocolate with me and a hair tie so you dont struggle with your hair in class.

Maya was already behind me
Maya: What in the great world of.... Jay! Are you serious
Jay: what do you mean?!
I just tied up my hair with the hair tie
Maya: can I see the note?
I just handed her the note
Maya: sweet as chocolate? Blushing like tulips? Hair tie for you to not struglle?! Girl this man is going all out....
Jay: but he only writes "K" why?
Maya: you are thinking about that?! Girl... You got flowers, chocolate and a hair tie... And you are not even together with him...
And the moment Maya said that the bell rang so we went to class
In class we sat at our usual seats, Kiefer staring at the back of my head as always
Time passed, lectures ended and we went to the cafeteria to eat. We got our food and Maya was still obsessing over the gifts i got
I timed... It took Kiefer 3 minuites and 56 seconds to sit in front of me...
Kiefer: I see you are using the hair tie, Mariano
Jay: it was quite toughtful, Watson
Then Aries came.... He stoid in front of Kiefer intiminating as ever with that protective brother energy
Aries: Whatson... What did I tell you? My sister is off limits.... Go to hell
Kiefer just left without a word. Aries left too and left Maya and me alone
Maya: girl... You are lucky...
Jay: why exacly?
Maya: an overprotective brother plust the school's heartrobber... Kiefer is basicly wrapped around your finger
Jay: he is not... And I dont want him
Maya: sure... (clearly disbeliving)
Jay: Maya!
We went to last period after that and after last period I put the tulips and chocolates that I got into my bag and went home. I went up to my room and put the tulips in a vase and went to shower, brushed my teeth and went to sleep
