Flying down from the ceiling, Kayo (alongside GDF forces) landed on the floor of the roof of Jayden's main base of operations, the Ratty Hotel. She landed on the rooftop, transitioning into a leg sweep as Jayden's goons turned their guns on her. Tripping one of them, they quickly put him into a chokehold and promptly knocked him out. As the GDF dealt with the rest of them, Kayo stole the unconscious goon's key card and swiftly entered a ventilation shaft.
"Alrighty then, Jayden...let's see what you're hiding!"

Jayden sat down inside his private saferoom, note in hand. He had received word from his right-hand man, now fighting the GDF, that International Rescue was involved. If International Rescue were here, surely Kayo would have already infiltrated the building. Jayden was sure of it. As he drew his pistol, standing to the side of the door and preparing for a breach at any given moment, he couldn't help but wonder...
Who sent the note? Why did they want him to stay? And why were they so stupid to think he WOULD stay? Yet as he stood there, he was hit with a realization as heavy as a hippo.
He HAD stayed.
He HAD done as they asked.
He HAD done THEIR bidding.
He HAD furthered THEIR goals.
They had tricked him.
