Ficool

Chapter 5 - 5

What the hell does she mean I have to go to the Mystical Realm and meet my so-called mate? The same coward who sent someone to kill a three-year-old girl.

Sigh.

"Sister."

Celea turned to see Draco standing there.

"Why aren't you sleeping?" she asked.

"I could ask you the same."

"Something's on my mind."

"Mine too."

"Come here."

They sat together on the balcony, wrapped in a blanket, staring at the moon glowing above the forest.

Draco rested his head on her shoulder.

"Sister… are you leaving?"

She didn't answer.

"What do you mean, 'leaving'?" Azar's voice followed, with Kai close behind. Kai climbed onto her lap; Azar leaned against her side. They all shared the blanket.

"Kai, you have an entire couch."

"And yet I chose you," he said smugly.

"You devil," Celea muttered.

They laughed, then fell into silence.

"I'm going to have to leave for a while," Celea said quietly.

"For how long?" Kai asked.

"I don't know. Months, maybe."

"But where?"

She hesitated.

"…To my mate."

Later, Celea stood alone, watching them sleep.

"My three little idiots," she whispered. "I'm sorry. I don't have a choice. I have to leave to protect you."

Lycan Castle

"KING! WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!"

BOOM.

"Who dares attack the Lycan Castle?!"

"We don't know, sir! The attacker wears a black mask and cape!"

Another explosion rocked the halls.

"We must stop this before the castle is destroyed!"

The king's anxiety grew with every step.

What is this presence?

"You call yourselves warriors?" Celea's voice echoed. "Hundreds of you—and not one can get close to me."

"Shut up, devil!"

"That word again," she mused.

With a flick of her hand, she flipped the soldier upside down using telekinesis.

"Devil," he croaked.

"Oh, be quiet," she snapped. "You're an embarrassment."

"Where is your king?"

"Right here."

She turned.

"It's about time," she said calmly. "I thought you'd hide and let your men die for you."

"What kind of coward do you take me for?" he shouted.

Celea's voice dropped.

"What would you call someone who sends a subordinate to kill a three-year-old girl and her parents?"

King's POV

Half my castle lay in ruins.

Who is she?

Then I heard her voice.

"Where is your king?"

A woman?

Impossible.

"He's right here," I called.

She turned.

Black. That was all I saw. A mask without eye holes. A hooded cape. A sword still untouched at her side.

She hadn't even drawn it—and yet she'd done this.

"It's about time you arrived," she said. "I thought you'd hide."

"What kind of coward do you think I am?!"

"What would you call a man, who sends someone to murder a three-year-old child?"

No…

That woman died fifteen years ago.

Unless—

Could this be the one who burned Jack and sent him back to me?

"Well, Mr. King… how would you describe such a person? Or should I perhaps ask your subordinates?"

"I'LL KILL YOU!"

smirk

He transformed. I can't really see it, but I can feel it. Power. I can feel the amount of power he has. That's a lot, but too bad for you—I am stronger.

He was running towards me really fast. He jumped to attack me, but before he got the chance to touch me, I created a vortex around me that blew everything around me away. The lycans that were there were sent flying far away from the battle, but… my vortex barely touched him.

WHAT? No… don't tell me… my powers refuse to hurt him? WHAT THE HELL!!
