"It looks like both of us are again equally matched, Draven."
Draven grit his teeth, as a steel beast formed, it looked human if only one could ignore that its entire body was made of steel, as it took Draven on its shoulders and jumped back to make distance and immediately took out Flester's sword from Draven's body.
"You are a strong one." Draven said with a smirk as he jumped down from its shoulders and as if he had never been stabbed by Flester, stood straight and strong and that is when Flester looked to Draven's injured knee except there was no injury when he saw him.
"What? How? Did he perform a healing technique this quick but when?"
"That was a good fight, you passed." Draven said, smiling as Flester looked at him dumbfounded.
"EHHHHH??"
The walls Draven put up collapsed and disappeared into thin air as two nurses rushed in with a stretcher, going towards Flester.
"You gotta be kidding me..." Flester said stopping Draven in his tracks.
"Is this not supposed to be a battle till anyone of us lost?" Flester asked trying his best to stand up, though was being held back by the two nurses, one of which was also the nurse he was flirting with some days ago.
"She really pisses me off." Flester thought before refocusing his attention on Draven who gave a big, mischievous smile, all his steel beasts vanished as Draven bent to one knee in front of Flester coming face-to-face with him.
"You fought hard, though as you are now, you are in no shape to challenge me."
"I can still fight, I still managed to injure you even like this." Flester fought back and all Draven could do was sigh.
"The match's over, now make all those portals and that annoying chain of yours to disappear." Flester looked around him and let out a breath he did not know he was holding.
All the chains and the flame portals disappeared in a second, and once again he looked straight at Draven's eyes.
"Let me tell you the real reason I did not continue this fight. The fight was indeed exciting, it is not every day I get injured like that by a guy I injured in the same day but, the thing is, even before I injured you, you had already passed." Draven said and then leaned to Flester's ear.
And also, we have the royal family as our guest." Flester blood ran cold as his hand almost went up to his necklace but stopped. He did not care if the royal family was watching, but it was him they were watching and even that would not be a problem but if he fought more and they somehow managed to spot the Flame Elemental Symbol on his neck, he would be in trouble.
"Being an adventurer is not even my dream, and I am already qualified for the next round, I need to stay calm."
Flester relaxed at last as he was carried away on a stretcher, a thunderous applause rising from the spectators in the stands though not for him, as he was carried in a stretcher, he was dropped down and reflexively turned his body and landed on his feet regretting it immediately as pain coursed through his body.
"Hey-" Flester was about to complain until he saw the faces of the nurses, filled with fear, loyalty and unwavering love, they were looking ahead, following their gazes he saw two figures approaching.
One male, and another female. The first one was the Crown Prince Kairo Gold, he was sixteen years old, two years older than Flester, his hair was black, tied back in a pony which reached till a little below the back of his neck, and also black eyes, one that did not even look at him, or even the two nurses staring at him clearly.
Behind him was his younger sister, the second born. Princess Jasmine Gold, long black hair which reached down to her back, and the same black eyes as her brother except they acknowledged the two nurses beside him, before falling on him.
"She's dangerous." He heard a voice, not sure from where, but he did.
"Do your best. Kairo." The princess said as her older brother entered the battlefield and the cheers only increased.
"Now, its been months since I have healed someone, let's get going, Flester." Princess Jasmine said as she turned back and began to walk and Flester began to levitate behind her.
"What-"
"This is one of my techniques, I can carry you with no problems, even without physical contact." Jasmine said slightly looking behind him with a smile. A pink aura surrounded Flester, making a sphere around him, it was transparent from the inside with Flester being able to see outside, but in a point of a person outside, it looked like a pink ball flying behind the Princess, none able to see the boy inside.
"This should be some kind of trap...no, it IS a trap, there is absolutely no way a princess is this kind to a commoner." Flester thought and heard the Princess leave out a chuckle.
"I forgot to tell you one thing." She turned back slightly, though did not stop walking, as her smile vanished slowly right in front of Flester.
"While you are inside this pink aura, I can hear all your thoughts clearly." She said with a smirk turning front.
"There's no way this is true." He thought unconsciously.
"Oh, but this is true." She replied to his thoughts mockingly.
"I need to stop thinking."
"Yes, you definitely have to." Flester grit his teeth trying his best to not think anything at all.
"So where are you taking me?" Flester thought.
"To a nursing room."
"I see, how long do you think it will take to heal me, Princess?"
"Not even a minute, and you are really smart I have to say, to stop thinking anything dangerous, you decided to think about talking to me, though that won't work on me. Still I'll let this one slide this time." She said and after five minutes, she opened the door and finally Flester was placed in a bed and freed of the pink ball.
"Finally. Freedom." He thought.
"Now that I can't hear your thoughts, let's get you treated real quick."
"Whatever healing technique she's using is the best, I feel so good and I feel fresh, all my wounds disappeared too, in just 30 seconds." Flester thought staring at the princess and their eyes met.
"What? Already thinking dirty?"
"NO! No, I was just wondering if healing was your speciality?" Flester asked and the princess sighed.
"Seriously! What did you even learn in the academy?" The princess said chuckling. "A member of the royal family are trained from young age by the best teachers of the country, and excel in every aspect." She explained.
"Seems like that includes teaching others as well." Flester said and immediately regretted it.
"Sorry, it slipped out of my mou-" Flester had to dodge a punch jumping up as the wild princess broke the bed where he was being healed a second ago.
"I forgive you this time." She said as nurses rushed into the room.
"Clean the bed, and get out." She ordered and all the nurses got to work.
"Well... Is there anything else? What should I do now?" Flester asked awkwardly. "She's so strong, I can't have her in my enemy lists, at least not for now." He thought.
"You passed this round, though I did not see you fight, I know you are strong, and that is why I healed you." The princess then stared at Flester.
"Especially on the necklace you're wearing."
Flester's eyes widened as his hand went to grip the necklace, Jasmine just stood there smiling at him.
"When did you see this?" He asked, a little bit of dangerous tone in his voice.
"I did not see it yet, but I know about it?"
"How?"
"That's a secret, though I can assure you it was not Night's doing, and no matter what you do, you'll never escape my eyes." As she said this she closed the distance between them slowly and kept her index finger on his lips.
"This stays between us." She said, removing her finger and turning back.
"How many people know of this?" Flester asked.
"Except me, you, Night and Dark Nemesis, no one else knows, for now." She turned her head to meet his eyes and without a word silenced him.
"No questions regarding Dark Nemesis, all I can say is, they are very dangerous, even for me and the king himself."
She turned back to the door, and began walking towards it.
"Let's go watch my brother's match, you seem to have no real knowledge about our kingdom, as we see my brother's match, I'll explain everything to you."
