Chapter 3: Kissed
Ace's Point of View....
I took a sip from my coffee. I noticed my hand shaking while holding the cup. I wasn't scared because of what happened to me earlier, but because of the fact that we were facing another new challenge. The next events are frightening.
"Do you know anyone who has a grudge against you?" Matt asked me.
Matt arrived earlier when I was at the tomb. He said he followed my car when he noticed I was in a hurry and he also had a bad feeling. He saw the person who locked me inside, but because it was dark, he couldn't see their face and they quickly disappeared into the darkness.
I let out a heavy sigh. "I don't know... I don't know." I admitted.
I have no idea who could have done this to us and now I'm thinking if it has any connection to the person named Hell in FH.
"What's your plan? I don't want anything bad to happen to my friend." He said seriously, as a threat.
"Harm her is not in my plan." I replied firmly.
We've been through a lot and I can't count how many times I've sacrificed myself, but I'm ready to add more to that. I won't let anything bad happen to the woman I love.
But I admit that I'm more afraid of the enemy now because we don't know who it is. We don't know who the real enemy is, unlike in HU where we knew, so we were able to plan.
The unexpected events will be bloodier. Shit! That was not just some kind of prank.
"You should go home," He stood up and fixed the blazer he was wearing. "It's late and she might be worrying about you." He said before finally leaving the café.
I just sighed before looking at Zein's cellphone in my hand. I passed by the trash can and threw it in there. I'll just buy her a new one.
When I got home, a broomstick hit my head. "Aww.." I complained to Zein who was standing in front of me with her arms crossed.
I couldn't help but laugh at her expression that looked like she was bankrupt.
"Where the hell have you been?"
I sat down heavily on the sofa and raised an eyebrow at her.
"Somewhere." I said lazily.
She grimaced and threatened to hit me again, but I stopped her. "It hurts... Sorry." I apologized.
"Sorry? Did you do something foolish?"
I swallowed. I had no plan to tell her everything that happened because I didn't want her to worry. As much as possible, this will remain a secret.
"I'm hungry..." I even held my stomach.
She sighed before signaling me to follow her to the kitchen. I quickly sat down and got some food because I was really hungry.
"Why are your clothes dirty?"
I looked at my white clothes. They probably got dirty when I went inside the tomb.
"Ahmmm.. Tripped? Oh! Yes! I was tripped."
"Why is it dirty on the side? Shouldn't it be in the front or at the back?"
Oh no!
"I like it on the side... why are you asking?" I reasoned. "I'm full..." I was about to leave when she pulled my clothes.
She looked down and blushed. "Why?" I asked.
She blushed even more. She bit her lower lip as if she was shy.
"W-Well... Uhmmm.. I-I-"
"What? Tell me..."
I faced her and held her arm to calm her down.
"I-I'm shy but can you teach me my assignment?"
I laughed softly when she suddenly ran to the living room.
I just shook my head, "Why not? She was shy." I whispered.
I caught up with her in the living room arranging her things. I sat down next to her as well. "Where?" I asked.
She handed me her notebook with calculus written on it, "I'm weak in math... Don't say anything, I already admitted it." She began.
I just smiled at her. "It's okay if you're weak here, you're strong with me anyway." I said which made her roll her eyes.
My smile widened even more when I noticed her subtle smile. Hays. I won't let the smile on your lips disappear.
"But, there's a condition."
"Anything..."
"A kiss will do."
"Deal!"
I didn't have a hard time teaching this girl because there was just a part that she didn't understand which I explained. I was in the middle of writing when my attention shifted to the person next to me whose eyes were already closed in sleep.
I put down everything I was holding and looked at every angle of her face. She looks like an angel when she's asleep, but snobbish, grumpy, mean when she's awake.
"You're unfair, you fell asleep on me." I whispered.
I fixed all our things and carried Zein to her room. I carefully laid her on the bed.
"I'll claim your promise..." I gave her a quick kiss on the lips. "Good night, Queen. I love you." I whispered.
I made sure all the windows were locked before turning off the light and closing the door.
After entering my room, I opened my laptop before taking a bath.
After taking a bath and changing into my boxers, I got my laptop and put it on my lap.
I immediately opened my FB account. Many notifications and messages weren't new to me, but I still opened the messages.
My attention was drawn to a message from someone I didn't know.
"Did you liked your adventure? It's cool, right? I want to play more... Let's play, again."
Damn it!
I looked at the picture he sent me. I was in the cemetery holding a cellphone. It was edited as if it was covered in blood.
I looked down at the person who sent it to me.

Zein's Point of View.....
"Wow! You've got a perfect score!" Vanessa told me.
I smiled back at her, head held high. "Ace taught me," I said.
"Ewww..."
"At least I got a perfect score, eh you? 1? Ewww..."
What an "ewww" from this one. At least I got a perfect score, she only got 1. And the worst part is it was because of the bonus. What if there wasn't one? Then zero.
"Let's go..." I invited her.
As I stepped out the door, four guys appeared before me. "What are you doing here?" I asked Matt, Jerome, Dave, and Ace.
"I'm picking up my grandma," Jerome said to Vanessa.
"Oh! You're here already, ancestor!" Van answered rudely.
I laughed at the two of them. They always treat each other like this, but don't be fooled! That's how they show affection! These two are abnormal.
"We will have a celebration, right buddy Ace?" Dave said, putting his arm around Ace who was pouting.
I frowned. What did these guys drink this time?
"Oh! Zein forgot... How about that, buddy?" Jerome also put his arm around Ace. "She forgot your anniversary today." He smirked at me.
My jaw dropped. OH. MY. GHAD! It is our 4th anniversary! Shit! How could I have forgotten this important day?
I gave Ace a bitter smile. "H-Hi?" I greeted, which made them all burst into laughter.
Ace quickly held my hand. "Forget everything else, just not me," he said which made me smile.
"Where are we going?" Matt asked.
We are now in a nearby bar. OH. SHIT! I knew it wasn't a good idea for Matt to suggest the place!
I watched Jerome and Matt dance on the floor. They weren't drunk but they looked high.
I was sitting next to Dave and Ace. While Vanessa was clapping for Jerome who was giving it his all.
My attention shifted to Dave when I noticed he was staring at his cellphone.
"Is something wrong?" I asked.
He frowned. "It's Mia. She hasn't replied since yesterday," he said.
"Maybe she's busy?"
"It's their midterm exams."
I hit his arm after he said that. "That's why! Stop being paranoid!" I scolded.
"But-" He stopped when his cellphone lit up and Mia's name flashed on it.
He started dancing when he saw it, which made me laugh. He quickly ran outside because it was loud inside.
I leaned back in my chair and turned my attention to Ace who was already looking at me. I don't know why but his eyes are captivating.
The light from the light effects sparkled in his eyes. He moved his face closer to mine so I quickly smelled the alcohol in his mouth mixing with his perfume.
He looked at my lips and swallowed. Our lips were almost touching when someone came between us.
"Woa! It's fun here! Isn't it, Dark?"
Tangina! (Filipino profanity/exclamation)
"Kuya (Older brother)?"
"Alas! Why didn't you invite me! If Matthew hadn't invited me, I wouldn't have known."
I looked at Matt who laughed at us. I squinted my eyes at him but he just disappeared into the crowd of dancers.
"Hoy!" I grabbed Hoy from Raze's shoulder.
"What Hoy?" Raze asked.
"His name."
He frowned. Wait... "Animals are not allowed here, you know!" I said which made him laugh hard.
"I said he's my husband." He laughed hard and I didn't know whether to laugh too or feel disgusted.
Ace's brother is something else. I can't figure out if he's normal or abnormal.
"Were you about to kiss earlier?" He asked us with a grin.
I blushed at his question, good thing the lights were dim so it wasn't obvious. I don't think that's a good thing to ask. Isn't he aware that it's awkward and also it's his fault why it was interrupted?
"Kuya! Get out of here already!"
"Alas! You still have a debt to me. You haven't visited the office. I'm swamped because of it, I haven't been able to visit baby."
What's their status now? I know he's referring to Ate (Older sister) as baby.
"I'll go tomorrow."
"Yes! That's good!" He took a gulp of alcohol and stood up. Hoy jumped onto his shoulder. "I'm leaving now. Continue your interrupted kiss."
He laughed hard.
"Go away!" Ace rejected him.
"Nice lips, Zein." Raze said with a grin which made my mouth gape open. "I want to taste it again, soon." He walked away laughing hard and I was about to die from nervousness.
Damn it! Raze Silvenia! What have you done?
I looked at Ace whose face was very dark. I swallowed and was about to leave when he pulled me closer.
I sat on his lap.
"He kissed you?"
I was about to answer when I felt him putting something around my neck. I touched the necklace he put on, the pendant was a queen's crown.
"Darling, happy anniversary." The last words he said before leaving me.
Uh oh! Darling is angry.
Damn it! I'll get my revenge, Raze.
