Chapter 105: The Deal
"Deal? What do you mean?"
The sudden words made both the Nine-Tails and Three-Tails pause. The two tailed beasts looked at each other, seeing the confusion in each other's eyes.
Soon, the Nine-Tails and Three-Tails fixed their massive eyes on Naruto, studying him, wanting to see what he meant. A human actually wanted to make a deal with a tailed beast.
A bit of interest rose in the Nine-Tails' heart. He looked at Naruto with great interest and made a rough voice:

Naruto shook his head and said lightly:
"Nine-Tails, you've lived inside me for so many years. You've seen what I've been through. You should understand that I'm just like you."
The Nine-Tails was stunned. He couldn't help but raise his gaze and stare at Naruto.
Naruto continued:
"We're the same. We're both hated, despised, and treated like weapons. I understand you. Just like you, I hate certain people deeply. That's why I didn't hesitate to destroy Konoha. I believe you saw that. So I will never treat you the way they did. I will never do the same things to you that they did."
His calm words sounded and passed into the Nine-Tails' ears.
The Nine-Tails listened, looking at Naruto, thinking about everything that had happened over the years.
Indeed, as Naruto said, the Nine-Tails had seen from inside Naruto's body all the struggles Naruto had suffered over the past decade. Naruto's treatment was the same as his own.
This made the Nine-Tails feel a slight connection. He began to believe Naruto's words.
Also, the Nine-Tails knew that Naruto possessed the Mangekyō Sharingan. Those eyes could control tailed beasts. Naruto could clearly have controlled them without any discussion. But Naruto hadn't done that. He had chosen to negotiate with them instead. Naruto had shown his utmost sincerity.
Maybe this kid really was different from the others, the Nine-Tails thought to himself.
But the Nine-Tails still didn't agree. Instead, he stood up, his massive body rising. He placed his blood-red eyes on Naruto, squinted, glanced at the seal symbol carved on the iron door of the cage, and said slowly:
"I might believe you. But only if you remove that seal."
With his sharp claw, the Nine-Tails pointed to the seal on the iron door of the cage.
That was the Four Symbols Seal left by the Fourth Hokage. It was used to seal the Nine-Tails' power. If the seal tag was removed, the Nine-Tails' seal would be released. And the Nine-Tails could break out of the cage at any time.
Naruto glanced at the Four Symbols Seal. He knew what would happen if the seal was lifted.
But Naruto still exhaled, walked to the iron gate, and tore off the Four Symbols Seal without hesitation.
The moment the seal was removed, the cage disappeared. The Nine-Tails' seal was gone.
"Roar!"
The moment the seal disappeared, endless chakra surged out of the iron cage. That chakra was full of tyrannical and destructive energy. It was extremely powerful and terrifying, like a mountain descending upon the entire space.
This chakra was exactly what the Nine-Tails was giving off.
The moment the Four Symbols Seal was lifted, the Nine-Tails roared happily a few times, as if finally regaining his freedom after so many years.
After roaring, the Nine-Tails rushed out of the cage immediately. His massive body suddenly sat in front of Naruto. His sharp claws touched the ground near Naruto's feet. The Nine-Tails lowered his head, his blood-red pupils like huge glass beads reflecting Naruto's image.
The Nine-Tails stared at Naruto, squinted his eyes, and looked at Naruto's calm expression. He was a little surprised. Then he said slowly:
"Kid, aren't you afraid of me?"
Naruto smiled faintly. He stepped forward without fear, looked at the Nine-Tails, and said with a smile:
"I believe you won't hurt me. And I also believe you will keep the agreement."
Hearing Naruto's words, the Nine-Tails was stunned for a moment. Then he laughed out loud, his blood-red eyes staring at Naruto as he said:
"Good kid. This is the first time I've seen someone who actually believes in a tailed beast. Fine. Since you were so quick to remove the seal, I'll choose to trust you this once."
As soon as the Nine-Tails finished speaking, something happened.
Massive amounts of chakra emerged from the Nine-Tails' body. That chakra was extremely blood red, like flames. After the chakra appeared, it instantly poured into Naruto's body and merged with him. Naruto's body became wrapped in the Nine-Tails' blood-red chakra.
Then, after the Nine-Tails' chakra wrapped around Naruto, Naruto's body slowly changed. The blood-red chakra automatically converted into pure energy and merged into Naruto's body. Naruto's body instantly gave off a golden light.
The golden light shone. In the blink of an eye, the blood-red chakra turned gold. Intense golden chakra filled Naruto's body like a golden coat covering his skin.
It made Naruto look very sacred at that moment, like a divine being.
Then there was a loud bang. On the collar of Naruto's golden chakra coat, six black magatama slowly appeared.
