Seeing Naruto stop, Gaara charged in front of him. His massive raccoon dog arms smashed the surrounding trees, as if venting his anger over being kicked earlier.
Then, Gaara stared at Naruto with a bloodthirsty look, bared his fangs, and said with a terrifying smile:
"Run. Why aren't you running?"
Apparently, Gaara thought Naruto and Sasuke had been trying to escape because they were afraid of his monster form.
But that wasn't the truth at all.
Naruto had deliberately brought him here for the next battle.
After hearing Gaara's words, Naruto smiled lightly, looked at Gaara, and said calmly:
"I don't need to run to deal with you. Come on—you wanted to fight me, didn't you? Let me see the power of the One-Tail, Shukaku."
