Chapter 19 - 19

When I turned fifty, I began to dream about people of incredible beauty, for some reason mostly men. I even sketched them on paper as I have always loved drawing due to my passion for comics. Their blond hair was long, their eyes shone brightly... Moreover, they also kissed each other juicily, this is a very hot sight. I had already forgotten about my gay past... Why did I see this? What was my mind trying to tell me? Reminding me that I'm still bisexual? Am I going crazy or is my death near...

I begin to believe in God, this probably happens to everyone at the end of their lives, when they are already over sixty... After deep studying the sciences, I came to the conclusion that life could not have been created by itself, the mechanisms - our cells in the body - are too complex. In reality, these are like real microfactories with reliably working equipment! Oh, I had too much time to reach the conclusion: everything is programmed, absolutely everything in the biological environment. Someone designed all this?

And Yarison knew how to regulate his age in some way. Such knowledge was not available on our computers, and it was impossible to guess how to do this. He did not leave us such data. Why? Considered unworthy of immortality?

I began to believe in the possibility of physical body eternity, which the best minds of mankind had been searching for for many centuries, although how could I know, what if such information became known to someone.

We have carefully processed the data on the approaching Exotherra in recent years and, based on the latest spectrograms, we are convinced that it is indeed suitable for our species to live in both in size and air composition, but some data alerted us - the pinpoint presence of radiation.

And one moment came when we approached our destination so much that we saw clearly in orbit... alien ships of enormous size.

The hair on my head began to stand up, and thick goosebumps ran down my back from horror, like everyone else who leaned against the panoramic windows.

"Holy shit!" the shocked Rianka cursed loudly. "That is… high technological… Exoterra is inhabited!"

"It was quite expected..." I inserted a comment with a smart look at her reaction.

"Oh no! Not so much!" Doctor Onelia spoke out.

"What we gonna do?" helpless sighs of the crew members were heard.

"Let's wait for their reaction..." was the captain's decision. "I declare a State of Emergency. We are preparing to repel the attack."

However, they didn't seem to notice us, the owners of Exoterra did not take any action, and their ships continued to slowly float around in orbit, winking with red lights.

"They have a quite hectic life... They have to notice us..."

"At least they are not hostile..."

"Or are we so unworthy of their attention?"

"What kind of suspicious disregard is this?"

These were the comments during two onboard days of vigilant monitoring of the planet's orbit, until something happened...

Our captain Rianka disappeared without a trace and we looked for her all over the ship... It became clear to everyone that she had somehow been kidnapped... aliens had visited the ship... but the security cameras showed nothing. And we lost sleep with such horror...

She appeared on the captain's bridge right out of thin air a couple of days later, alive and well... but not alone, but accompanied by representatives of Exoterra... huge, tall two-meter aliens, fantastic creatures with wings, the same ones that I have dreamed of in recent years... Men with perfect, well-groomed appearance ideal human beauty, dressed in long, fitted robes, boots with ornaments, caused a shock in reality...

Onboard doctor Onelia jumped up to Rianka, feeling her with her hands and shouting:

"Where have you been, dear? You scared us all with disappearance!"

The captain, with an absent-minded look, as if she was high, appealed:

"We were allowed to settle on Xantari with the syrinxes who own this planet, I already negotiated."

"So it lasted two days? Without our participation?" I spoke in bewilderment.

...Some suspicions crept into my mind: she made an agreement! How?

"Yes... Everything is fine," Rianka answered calmly. "Syrinxes are wonderful, peace-loving folk! Kind and polite. They are significantly ahead of us in development. Advanced in health and longevity. It will be good and pleasant for us to live with them."

...Us with them? Why not separately? - questions arose in my head.

The whole team froze as if in hypnosis, looking at the aliens. It feels like we are all trapped in a 3D simulation of a realistic fantasy.
