Keifer's PoV
It was break from our internship and currently Jay is taking me somewhere, about which I have clue and I did not know when she planned all this and she is the one driving too,
K: " Jay just tell me where are we going?"
J: " you will know when the time comes the time "
K: " okay, but let me drive. At least you've been driving for two hours."
J: " no way, I planned this whole thing, and I get to do it"
K: " but you'll get really tired, let me drive for an hour, you take rest"
J: " no, we are almost here and it's only 45 minutes away"
K: "Fine"
Jay's Pov
I wanted to do this for a long time but it was hard to surprise, so during our internship, I planned this perfect surprise for him and I hope he like it.
We finally reached the spot, it was a nice sea facing resort, and we went inside to get checked in and we went to our room.
We quickly freshened up and rested a little bit because we were a Little exhausted from the drive , and then I told him that will be leaving in an hour for our evening date
He was a little surprised because it was usually him that does all this kinds of this things, but I wanted to do this for so long, for us and for him❤️
He went to take bath, In the mean time I got ready wore a yellow dress which was really beautiful, I did a little extra effort to look good and went out and texted him saying,
"I am waiting for in the seaside dining area and your dress is on the bed."
I know he smiled after seeing that message,
I was waiting for him but not exactly at that the table,
Then he came wearing a black shirt, in which he looked handsome Ofcourse,
He looked confused and was searching for me and was about to call me, when I sent in the waiter to seat him,
He took his place and looked around for me, and I didn't want to make him wait anymore,
I went towards him with flowers for him, because he deserves it too, he was little surprised,
He stood up as soon as he saw me,
Keifer: "Wow" words left his mouth involuntarily,
Keifer: "You look gorgeous." He said in awe of me which made me blush,
Jay: "This is for you."
He was little surprised when I gave him the flowers,
Keifer: "Thank God, It was for me, I thought someone else gave this to you."
I just chuckled,
Jay: "So do you like the place."
Keifer: "Yeah, It's beautiful."
I smiled,
Keifer: "But How and when did you plan this ?"
Jay: "just something I wanted to do once we started our internship, we have busy and tired and I wanted to surprise you too, soo."
He held my hand from across the table,
Keifer: "Thank you."
Jay: "No, Thank you for being the best boyfriend ever."
Keifer: "Only because I have the best."
I smiled and pressed his hands,
Then our dinner came, we ate and talked and it was a wonderful date, that I will always remember,
We finished our dinner and I asked Keifer,
Jay: "Keif, can we go on a walk to the beach?"
Keifer: "Of course."
He said and intertwined our fingers together and we started towards the beach, it was a beautiful night along with the sound of the waves,
We settled down in the bench near beach and it was so beautiful and to my luck it was a full moon day so the set itself was pretty romantic and calming and there was no one else
and he was surprised by it because he thought after dinner we will return to our room
We sat there and talked and had fun and finally the time came, it struck 12 and I turned to him and said, " Kief, you asked right, why did I bring you here, I will tell you the answer now"
"Today is my birthday and I never wanted to celebrate them because often I was met with disappointed, and end up crying" My throat got stuck a little bit when I started saying this and he immediately took my hands into his
" Every year on birthday I used to cry, because every year it reminded me I some kind of a burden to everyone around me I even wanted my birthdays to disappear, so it would be better for me, but this year I am crying because I am happy and it is truly because of you, I want to keep looking forward to many birthdays with you and to celebrate yours too"
"And this year it is different because I wanted to celebrate my birthday and I wanted to start my birthday with the person that mean so much than anyone else, who made feel loved and safe, you know I never wanted to fall in love and have a relationship because, I thought no one can handle me but you came into myself and changed the complete prospective of love and You are the The Unexpected Gift that I never saw coming and I am really great full that you have found me,
I Love you❤️."I said with tears falling from my eyes
He said nothing, he was starring into my eye and I can see tears in his eyes and he just pulled me in tight hug and he did not speak because whatever he wanted to convey the hug did it, and when we finally pulled away but still stayed closer
I leaned in looking into his eye and his lips and we both leaned in and we kissed each other but the kiss was different it conveyed all the love and yearning we had for each other and all poured into one all at once.
We pulled back and he gently placed a kiss on forehead and looked me in the eye and said
" Happy Birthday Love ❤️ "
