Julius's pov
He had two skills.
Space Shift and Chrono Clarity.
To teleport, he had to use these two skills simultaneously.
"There is another group of goblins. Wait." Dante grabbed his shoulder.
Julius nodded and looked at his friend.
Dante drew another circle on the ground and muttered to himself.
Julius waited for him to form the plan. Unknowingly, he clenched his hand into a fist.
He was weak. He thought his unique skill will make him powerful. But it was useless. Useless for his friends.
During the troll fight, he couldn't do anything. His small knife couldn't deal damage. He could only watch from behind and wished for his friends.
Thomas was powerful. Capable of shattering the troll's bones and flesh.
Dante was similar to him. Quite weak in attack but he was strange. When he looked into Dante's eyes, it seemed to pierce into everything.
He felt naked in front of that eyes.
Dante looked up and smiled. "Now is a good time. The goblins and the wolves are going to meet. Thomas, you go over there. Some goblins will run here. I want you to kill them before they ask for help."
"As for Julius, you go attack in the middle with your skill. I will stay on the back for support."
Julius nodded and parted away from his friend. He climbed up the big tree and looked down at the direction Dante told him.
Like he said, the wolves and goblins were attacking.
Julius took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
As soon as he opened his eyes, he activated his skill.
The moment he used his Space shift skill, the world around him vanished. No. It was more like he dropped into the sub dimension.
Inside the dimension, time stopped. Even he would have stuck there, if not for his precision skill.
Chrono clarity allowed his mind to be free from time stop.
In order to move,Julius converted his mana into time mana, allowing him to move freely in this dimension. He took a few steps inside the dimension.
Then he jumped out from the dimension to the real world.
No time passed in the outside world when he was in sub- sub-dimension.
As soon as he arrived, he swung his sword to the left. Sharp blade passing through the flesh. He heard the goblin's cry.
'Focus. Pour mana into the sword, steadily.' He reminded himself.
His instinct warned him and Julius turned to the side. Blocking the fangs from the wolf. He dropped his knees and kicked at the wolf.
He then teleported away, standing on the tree nearby. He observed the fights and poked the goblins a few times.
[Do you wish to learn basic swordsmanship?]
Julius was taken back by a sudden notification. Nevertheless he quickly chose the skill.
Instantly, information related to the sword entered inside his mind. He exhaled a breath and calmed himself.
He jumped down from the tree again and teleported to the wolf's head.
He slammed his whole body and quickly stabbed his sword into the head.
[You have slain Forest Wolf.]
[20 points earned.]
Julius ignored the system and focused his attention on the goblin who was facing the wolf he just killed.
The goblin screamed in a hoarse voice and then aimed the small spear to Julius's head.
Normally, he would be terrified and freak out but he wasn't the same no more. He needed to be calm like Dante.
Julius tilted his head, avoiding the spear. He grabbed the wooden part and pulled back.
Due to the difference in strength, he easily overpowered the goblin.
He let goes of his sword and grabbed the goblin's head. With a sharp strike, he brought his knee to the monster's face.
After another two quick kicks in the face, he dropped the goblin to the side.
[You have slain Tribe Goblin.]
[17 points earned.]
Julius quickly crouched down and grabbed his sword and vanished.
"Status." He muttered, relaxing his breath.

His statue seemed impressive but he was still quite weak compared to Thomas and Dante.
Dante could see his teleportation.
Julius laughed at himself and jumped down again.
He tried for a few times before all the monsters scattered. He nodded to himself and smiled.
Thankfully, he didn't become dead weight this time. He stopped his precision skill and rested his brain for a while.
He slowly walked to the designated area. Now their cave was safe. With Dante around, they didn't need to worry about ambush by the monsters.
Their initial plan to find shelter and water was now complete. While they still needed to hunt foods, they needed strength far more.
Julius was surprised to see Thomas's arm. It was broken.
"What happened?"
"Hehe. I found something. After killing those goblins, the mana spoke to me. It led me to a giant boulder." Thomas said with a grin.
"A boulder?" Dante asked, jumping down from the tree.
"Yes. Yes. I got curious and lifted the boulder to the side. Guess what I saw."
"A dungeon." Dante said in monotone.
"Ah man. You are no fun." Thomas grumbled. "Yeah. I saw an entrance to the dungeon. I tried to enter but the dungeon rejected me. So I force myself into it."
Thomas pointed at his arm and said quietly, "The result is this. A blast of mana pushed me to the back. The force was strong enough to break my enhanced arm."
Dante rubbed his chin and nodded. "I see. You guys know the path to the cave right?"
Julius and Thomas looked at each other. "Yeah."
"Great. I will stay here for a while. You guys can go ahead." Dante said, looking at the direction Thomas pointed earlier.
"I will stay here as well." Julius stepped forward.
"Sure. With you here, we can easily run away." Dante agreed.
Thomas said goodbye and left.
Julius looked at Dante and said, "So what are you going to do? Check the dungeon?"
Dante shook his head. "Not right now. I want to collect the cores first."
"Ah. I forgot about that." Julius exclaimed. He couldn't understand why he would forget something like this.
They walked through the forest. Julius glanced at Dante.
"Can you tell me how to get Heal?"
"It is quite simple. Do you have the wound right now?" Dante asked.
"Yeah. A small cut I got from blocking the fangs." Julius lifted up his arm and showed him two bite marks. "I was worried about this."
"I don't think you need to worry about rabies or something like that. You noticed right? Our body is not the same anymore. I can tell that your body is slowly healing this bite. I think it will take about 2 days to heal completely."
"I see but I still want to learn Heal. I am sure it will be useful in the future."
"Yes. Yes. I don't understand that much about skill in general but I will tell you about my experience." Dante said.
"Right now, our bodies heal the wounds by using life energy. What is life energy? I don't know. What I know is that the life energy came from the flesh."
Dante extended his hand and manipulated his mana. Soon, a ball of light came out from his hand. He grabbed the light ball and laid on the bite wounds.
Julius's wounds healed rapidly under the light.
"Here. As for how to transform mana into life energy, I can't explain quite well yet. First try feeling yourself."
Julius nodded.
"For this healing session, I want a manual." Dante laughed.
Julius let out a sigh. "I thought it was free."
"Nothing is free in this world, my dear friend."
"What kind of manual? I got a lot of points today."
Dante paused his walk and stared at the air. Julius knew that he was looking at the shop so he waited.
"Skill theory and combat theory. These two. I have a gut feeling that they are important."
Julius opened his shop and looked at the two manuals.
The two of them cost him about 300 points. It was quite a jump from the tier manual.
He gave the two manuals to Dante who read them immediately.
Julius looked at his friend and smiled. He didn't know why he was not worried about this situation. Their world was destroyed. He thought Dante would be worried about his family. But he was calm.
Julius wished he had that kind of strength. To remain calm. He let out a sigh and looked up at the sky.
'I don't need to worry about Earth since I don't think anyone would miss me.'
He was alone. Born alone. Survive alone. Live alone. Even then, he still wanted more.
