It's been a while, everyone. I hope you're all doing well. Well... to the sadness of some, this is another announcement rather than a chapter. I haven't been able to write for a while now, whether due to being exhausted or simply running out of time, which is why I've gone so long without posting anything. I'm currently in the middle of exams, major assignments, and working like a horse, so I just haven't been able to write.
However, I don't intend to abandon this story, nor do I want to drag it out. I plan to finish the story in a maximum of 15 chapters—the ten advanced chapters on Patreon, plus 5 that I haven't written yet. My plan is to finish it like this: write five very long chapters at a fast pace, covering everything I had planned.
Some told me to take my time, but I just can't. If I keep going like this, laziness and fatigue will likely win. That's why I'm going to finish the story in these 5 chapters. It won't be the absolute best ending, nor the exact ending I originally wanted, but it's what I'll be able to write.
I hope you don't get angry with me or disappointed. This whole project started as a learning experience and a pastime. I've always loved fantasy worlds, and seeing your comments, criticisms, and ideas motivated me immensely; without that, I would have given up a long time ago. I regret not being able to take this as seriously as I should have, but I know I've learned a lot from this fanfic.
This won't be my last work, but before I return to writing, I intend to finish college—that sanity-draining monster.
