Liam has been trying to get his best friend to calm down for hours, trying to make him see sense in giving his mate some space to sort out his feelings.
After all, he just confessed to him that he was in love with him, and will irrevocably always be, at their dinner date, and even though Day doesn't remember anything, it must have been overwhelming.
But Travis has been off the whole day.
He has been pacing, not still, convinced that Day needed him, and right now, he wishes he had trusted his friend just a little bit more.
"We will get there, he is going to be fine," he assures him, gripping the wheel as they break every traffic regulation and all the red lights as they rush towards Day's apartment.
"he is starting to feel like he is getting away," Travis is pressing on his chest, breathing hard, eyes wide as he looks out the window.
He can feel Day getting away, as if he is slowly fading, and it's the wrist that feels like it's trying to exist.
