Day has his insecurities.
He wants to know if he is special, if he is making the right choice by being here.
He understands that he is new in this scene, while Travis is seasoned. He has been loud about his affairs and his life.
He is someone with deep experience.
His own was one, and that ended up with his ex-boyfriend abusing him, before he disappeared, and his parents are also involved.
He wanted to have fun, date, and live in his youth. He didn't expect to meet Travis and be so taken by him.
Then the bite, the realization that he isn't a human, and he is fine with that, too. But still.
Travis feels like a mystery, and Day feels that he is falling hard. Falling, and he doesn't know if he will be caught or if he will just splatter on the cold, hard ground.
Travis tells him that he is serious about him, that it didn't mean anything with the others … but can he trust him? Should he?
