Chapter 1 - Awakening in Lunaris

I remember the cold, the emptiness, and then nothing. One moment, I was lying in a hospital bed, the world fading around me; the next, I woke up to a sky painted in soft shades of orange and gold, a sky that looked just like Earth's dawn. But everything else screamed that I was somewhere else.

The streets beneath me were alien. Glass towers rose high into the sky, digital billboards flashed in a language I couldn't read, and holographic signs hovered in midair, advertising goods I had never seen. Yet somehow, it all felt… familiar. My hands, my body—they were mine. My name echoed in my mind: Aren Vale. Same as before.

A shocking realization hit me: I wasn't just somewhere new—I had died in my previous life. And now, I had been reborn.

I remembered the accident—the car, the screeching brakes, the final moments. And now… here I was, in a world that mirrored Earth's technology, yet completely foreign.

It didn't take long to find out I wasn't starting completely from scratch. A small note in my new apartment, left by my deceased parents, explained that they had died in a car accident a few months ago. They had left me 10,000 Credits, an apartment, and a car a modest inheritance, but enough to survive.

And then the voice came. Calm, mechanical, and impossible to ignore:

"Entrepreneur System initializing… Host selected. Starter Capital Granted: 1,000,000 Credits. Use wisely."

A million Credits. My chest tightened. Even combined with my parents' 10,000 Credits, it was an astronomical sum for someone who had been born orphaned and destitute in this world.

The System's holographic interface floated before me, showing my balance and flashing missions:

Analyze local markets

Establish your first business

Generate profit and expand

I swallowed hard. My first life had been ordinary. I'd struggled, scraped, barely survived. But this time… I had everything. Knowledge from my past life, the System, and a fortune to start with and yet, a strange pressure settled on me. This wasn't just luck. With such wealth and power came responsibility. Every Credit I spent, every business I launched it mattered.

I looked around the city of Lunaris, alive with neon lights, vendors shouting in the unfamiliar tongue, and delivery drones zipping through the air. The streets were full of opportunity, danger, and competition.I took a deep breath, gripping the holographic interface. I have a second chance at life. I won't waste it.I won't just survive in this world. I'll rise. I'll build. I'll become more than I ever was.For the first time in my life, I smiled not from relief, not from comfort but from the thrill of possibility.

Let's see how far 1,010,000 Credits can take me.
