Alice's POV
Three years had passed since Rebecca went to prison and life had finally settled into something that felt normal. The twins, Emma and Antonio were five now and starting kindergarten. Hope was three and Lucas was four, and they were all best friends.
My consulting firm had grown beyond anything I'd imagined and now I had fifteen employees working for me. We'd landed contracts with major companies and I was making more money than Bryan which still felt strange sometimes.
"Mommy look," Hope said, running into my home office with a drawing. "I made you."
The picture was me with wild hair and a big smile holding all four kids. I taped it to my wall next to the dozens of other drawings my children had made over the years.
"It's beautiful baby," I said pulling her onto my lap. "Are you ready for your playdate with Auntie Victoria's twins?"
"Yes," Hope said bouncing excitedly. "Can Lucas come too?"
