Chapter 16 - Emerald Flames to the Weasley Hearth

Fluffy's eyes lit up, and he flailed his paws, whimpering as he tried to pounce on Vizette.

Hagrid possessed immense strength, and upon discovering that Fluffy had woken up, he easily lifted Fluffy above his head.

He shouted excitedly, "Fluffy, you're awake! You're so cute, you were born to be kissed by your mother..."

Vizette wiped a bead of sweat from his brow. Only someone of Hagrid's physique could lift a three-headed dog the size of an African lion high in the air by himself.

"Does it seem like I've arrived at the wrong time?"

At that moment, a familiar voice rang out, and Dumbledore appeared before the two.

"Dumbledore... Headmaster Dumbledore!" Hagrid exclaimed as if startled, quickly hiding Fluffy behind his back as if concealing a gift.

Unfortunately, Fluffy's size was comparable to that of an African lion, and even Hagrid's height of over three meters could not conceal him.

"The three-headed dog pup looks a bit thin," Dumbledore said with a smile. "Was that new den you made at school for it?"

"Hehe...hehe..." Hagrid chuckled, his smile strained. "Fluffy is still young...I don't want it to keep running around."

"Of course I understand," Dumbledore nodded. "But in that case, I'm afraid we won't be able to take the Knight Bus."

"Vizette, would you like to try another way of traveling? There's a more economical option; I've already spoken to Molly about it."

"Is it more economical?" Vizette remembered that he hadn't paid the fare for the morning, so he quickly took out a gold coin and stuffed it into Hagrid's trousers pocket.

Hagrid said urgently, "Vizette, you don't have to do that! You saved me over two hundred Galleons!"

Vizette waved his hand, "That's different, one thing at a time."

"Hagrid, you should accept it." Dumbledore's smile grew even more benevolent. "Vizette, let's go! The Floo Network is definitely a great way to travel!"

...

The three returned to the Leaky Cauldron bar.

The place remained bustling, with flames roaring in the corner fireplace, making the atmosphere in the bar even more vibrant.

Dumbledore picked up the flowerpot from the fireplace, which was filled with shimmering stardust.

"The method of use is very simple. Just grab a handful of Floo Powder, throw it into the fireplace, and shout out the place you want to go—The Burrow!"

As he spoke, he demonstrated by sprinkling a handful of Floo powder.

The flames that came into contact with Floo Powder instantly flared up, turning from bright red to emerald green.

"Vizette, overcome your fear of fire. The flames in the fireplace will not harm you; they will guide you home under the guidance of magic."

Hearing Dumbledore's gentle voice, Vizette nodded and pushed the small cart directly towards the flames.

...

"Headmaster Dumbledore…" Hagrid huddled in the corner with Fluffy, "How are we supposed to get back to school?"

Dumbledore gestured for them to proceed. "I've already arranged for Thestrals, but they wouldn't be here anytime soon."

Tom appeared at just the right moment, bringing a large pot of tea and a sliced cake.

Seeing the cake covered in sweet cream, Dumbledore's eyebrows relaxed, and he looked pleased. "I'm very interested in the origins of Cerberus. Can you tell me about it?"

Hagrid perked up. "Of course, no problem! Where do you want to start? How did I meet Fluffy? It was at the Leaky Cauldron..."

"I'd like to know how you acquired Fluffy." Dumbledore waved his hand. "From what I overheard of your conversation, it seems Vizette was of great help to you?"

"Yes! Yes!" Hagrid nodded repeatedly. "If it weren't for him, I would have been blackmailed by those people! Here's what happened…"

...

"Vizette entrusted me with five hundred Galleons, how could I possibly let those men search me? When I saw him appear, I was absolutely terrified…"

"He's so smart. I haven't even figured out what happened yet, but those people really only sold it for 170 Galleons. What kind of discount is that...?"

He was so excited that he danced around. Even Fluffy, who had been in a deep sleep, got up again and would call out the name "Vizette" a few times.

Dumbledore's face showed a look of satisfaction, "Using what he had seen and heard throughout the day, he easily turned the tide."

"To come up with such a perfect solution in such an emergency... to be honest, even I couldn't have done better."

Hagrid nodded repeatedly in agreement, "That's why I said that! If Vizette hadn't come, I really wouldn't know what to do!"

Dumbledore smiled and asked, "Hagrid, it's clear you like this child very much."

"Fluffy likes him a lot too!" Hagrid ruffled Fluffy's hair. "But a lot of people still misunderstand him… It's all because of those reports!"

"They'll have new reports soon." Dumbledore stroked his beard. "Harry's birthday is in a few days, and I'll need your help to make a trip then."

"Harry?" Hagrid opened his mouth. "Harry Potter? Right! He's reached school age too."

"Of course I have no problem! I haven't seen him for ten years! Back then he was just a tiny little kid."

"Yes, it's been ten years…" Dumbledore suddenly sighed. "The future will be a long and busy period… The Thestrals have arrived, we should go back to school."

-------------------------------------

As Dumbledore said, the flames did not harm Vizette.

A strange roaring sound came to his ears, and he felt as if he were in a vortex, with fireplace outlets flashing past his eyes.

Suddenly, a boy's startled cry came from ahead, "Mom! The fireplace is working! Come quick!"

A more mature male voice said, "Vizette came back from Diagon Alley, he must have brought a lot of stuff. Ron, stay away and be careful."

A thrust came from behind, and Vizette crawled out of the fireplace. What came into view was a living room made of crooked stones.

A tall, red-haired boy stood in front of him, extending his hand with great flair. "Hello, I'm Percy Weasley, the prefect of Gryffindor."

Another red-haired boy appeared, smiling shyly, "I'm Ron, and I'm also enrolling this year!"

A hand suddenly appeared beneath Percy's hand. "Hello! My name is Fred Weasley, the younger brother who always gets points deducted by the prefects."

Then, another hand appeared and covered Percy's palm. "Hello! My name is George Weasley, yet another brother who got points deducted by the prefects."

"Shut up!" Percy snapped. "If you behaved better, who would deduct points from your scores?"

"Percy is like this!" The two identical-looking boys shook their heads and said with disappointment, "I even doubt if he's our brother. He's not funny at all."

Four boys stood in front of Vizette, all with freckles on their faces and red hair.

Percy was dressed in the most formal attire, wearing a black robe and a gold and red badge on his chest.

A pair of gold-rimmed glasses perched on his nose gave him a well-behaved, scholarly air.

Fred and George struck a playful pose, their clothes not only worn but also bearing the marks of smoke and fire from magic.

Ron stood at the very back, his eyes sparkling, craning his neck to look around curiously.

"Alright!" A middle-aged woman wearing an apron appeared and pulled Fred and George aside.

"My name is Molly. You're back so late. Have you had dinner yet?" She bent down to look Vizette up and down, and helped straighten his collar. "Shall I cook you something?"

Her name is Molly Weasley, and she is the mother of Ron, Percy, Fred, and George.

Vizette looked at the large group of people. In their eyes, there was no distance or fear, but a sense of warmth arose spontaneously.

"Thank you, Mrs. Weasley…" He smiled and shook his head. "I think I'll pass. Mr. Lovegood has reserved dinner for me."
