Valeria interrupted Celestine and Tsukihi, having unintentionally spoken her thoughts out loud.
"Why does it have to be a girl?!"
"Because wife number 3."
"Mare have men. So do Kitsune too. Sure Succubus are all women, so I guess Celestine gets a pass, but why is it always women?"
"I mean Estakocra was a male imp, demon race of envy, and look how well that turned out."
"Well yeah. But he got jealous of Leon because he's an Imp."
"A female Imp would definitely join the Harem. Probably compete with you and Celestine for wife number 1 as well."
Celestine let out a sigh to regain control of the conversion.
"I still think she's probably evil but we can discuss that and deal with Tsukihi's fixation on the number 9 later. All we know now is that she is currently forcing Leon asleep as she feeds on him."

From behind the 3 girls, Roslyn spoke as she led 'Rose Thorns' out of the mansion and into the garden. Her along with Rika, Cersei and Tala were dressed in their gear and ready for combat.
"...According to the spies who were on duty last night, they didn't even see the demon until she was already on top of Leon."
Cersei added on to the conversion as she read from a book containing information on various monsters.
"Mare have been a rare sight since Nykthos. It's unknown whether they use Chi, Mana, or Essence due to mixed reports. Likely they don't have an inherent attribute like other demons.... Their racial ability however, is some of the strongest defensive magic in the world."
Rika tapped on the air next to the 3 fiances.
"A defensive barrier they put up while feeding... Does who they feed on matter?"
"Doesn't look like it. The recommended strategy is to wipe them out as soon as they're done feeding, once the barrier drops."
"No ways to save the one getting eaten? Well he looks unaffected. Sleeping all peacefully like the Farm Boy he is."
Rika instinctively attempted to throw a bosu at Leon, yet it hit against the barrier ineffective.
Tala stepped up to the barrier next, tapping her staff against it
"So since he's not going to die, do we wait till the demon gets full? I could make an earthquake to wake her up?"
"According to some reports, there is one way to save the victims but it's extremely risky... Yeah I think we just leave him."
"We're not leaving him!"
"Cersei!"
"Yes, yes, sorry, Princess 1 and 2. Other than the barrier requiring a sleep victim, the only other weakness is that people who are asleep can enter unaffected."
"Not as bad as I thought. I'll take the front. Put me to sleep with a quick spell then roll me in. Once it wears off..."
"Not so fast Boss, once inside, you can't wake up or you'll be forced out. Your only chance is to touch the victim while asleep and enter the dream yourself."
"Risking becoming food next, once the first victim's essence is completely consumed... But with Leon, that's not a risk. We'd staved to death on the outside before she'd eat him. Cersei, what do you need to do once inside?"
"It looks like they exhaust victims in their dreams. They turn memories into a dreamscape of a black forest. Using the mind to access the soul, they then chase you down in their demon form...A nightmare where victims run on their own Essence until they run out and are consumed."
Rika attempted to throw a bosu at Leon again despite knowing it was still ineffective.
"Farm Boy is probably sleeping so peacefully since the Mare is unable to make a dent. Probably walking around lost in the forest rather than running... Once in the dream, what do we do?"
"The dream ends if the victim falls asleep. Which means fending off the Mare while it's in demon form, and you don't have access to chi or essence... Yeah apparently the Mare are at full power, the victim can use Mana or Essence, and anyone inside will only have access to Mana since it's someone else's dream."
"My time to shine! Don't worry. I'll go and talk to wife number 3. If she's able to see his memories like me then she's definitely falling for him!"
"Hold up Tsukihi. We can't just send you alone. Cersei..."
"No way."
"You didn't let me finish. I was going to ask if the mare can switch targets?"

"I said to watch over Celestine, I said nothing about you being part of his fiances..."
"I.. I know that! Let's get this over with! Knocking Farm Boy out in the dream better counts as him falling asleep."
