Arc: The Great Guerrilla War
As Scarlet King was repeatedly slammed into the ground, his expression remained unchanged.
He grabbed the beast's arm, tore it from its socket, then forcibly shoved it into the beast's mouth to muffle its screams. Afterward, he punched it, sending it flying hundreds of meters away.
"Alright. You deserve to be taken seriously."
Scarlet King moved, grabbed the beast by the face, and crushed it. He then hurled it with all his strength toward the mountain.
The beast struck the mountainside.
The mountain shattered and collapsed over it.
Several enormous rocks flew toward Scarlet King, but he swiftly avoided them.
Silence filled the area for several seconds.
Nothing could be heard except falling mountain debris and the nearby avalanches.
Suddenly, a faint groan grew into a powerful scream as a massive boulder was sent flying.
The beast leaped out from beneath the rubble and charged toward Scarlet King at full speed.
Scarlet King stood still, grabbed one of the enormous rocks, and hurled it at the beast.
The boulder struck it and violently knocked it backward, destroying the upper half of its body.
However, it quickly rose and continued advancing toward Scarlet King.
He repeated the same movement and threw another rock, but the beast had learned from the previous attack. It shifted out of the boulder's path and continued charging toward him.
Scarlet King flew toward it at high speed, grabbed its face, and pressed down in an attempt to crush it.
(Its skull has become harder.)
The beast suddenly pushed Scarlet King's hands aside, surprising him slightly.
It swung its head and struck Scarlet King with a headbutt, sending him flying with tremendous force.
Blood flowed from Scarlet King's forehead as he crashed violently into the ground.
Scarlet King raised his head and moved one arm.
The beast's shadow began to shift.
The Shadow emerged from behind it, formed a scythe, and sliced the beast's body in half. It then transformed the scythe into a hammer and crushed the upper half of its body.
However, after only six seconds, the beast's lower half regenerated.
The beast moved and destroyed the Shadow with overwhelming force. It then turned around and screamed:
"Aaaaaah!!"
It charged toward Scarlet King.
Scarlet King deployed the cannons from his shoulders and fired directly into the beast's face.
The beast stopped for several seconds.
Scarlet King appeared before it and activated the hooks attached to his back. They shot forward, pierced the beast's body, and tore it in half.
This time, the beast took nine seconds to regenerate.
Scarlet King held it in place and repeatedly struck it while thinking:
(Its regeneration is slowing down, but even abilities that suppress regeneration are weak against it. I'll use poison to dissolve its body.)
He took out the Cosmic Poison Pearl and began using it against the beast.
Its body started melting.
(Very good… Although I can't use its full power, it's dissolving the beast's body with ease, as though it were melted butter.)
The beast's entire body dissolved, leaving behind nothing but its skeleton.
However, the Cosmic Poison Pearl failed to dissolve its bones, so Scarlet King withdrew it and concealed it once more.
Mist appeared around him, and he vanished.
The beast ran through the mist, still charging toward Scarlet King.
A massive cloud of mist appeared above it—
and Titan King's arm emerged.
The enormous sword came down with full force.
The ground shattered into pieces, and the nearby snow leaped several meters into the air.
Titan King moved his arm again and continued striking the beast with his gigantic hand.
Blow after blow.
During the final strike, the arm stopped and began rising.
The beast emerged after reconstructing itself and pushed the arm upward with its physical strength while screaming:
"Aaaaaah!!"
Titan King quickly withdrew his arm.
The mist expanded—
and Titan King emerged from it completely.
He stepped on the beast, leaving only its upper body exposed. He then lowered his screen and began firing red beams at it, slowly killing its vital cells until everything surrounding the beast turned blood-red.
A repeated vooom filled the air as sound waves erupted from Titan King's chest, causing the beast's internal organs to explode.
Titan King did not stop.
He repeatedly fired shells from his shoulder cannons at the beast.
Afterward, he stopped for several seconds.
The upper half of the beast's body had completely disappeared.
However, its body regenerated within twenty seconds.
Then it screamed once again.
The beast suddenly moved and pushed Titan King's foot aside with such force that he stumbled and fell.
It leaped toward him, but Titan King responded with a sound wave that sent it flying backward.
Mist immediately appeared, and Scarlet King returned to his normal form.
His transformations did not rely on the Vaporization Technique. He could transform whenever and however he wished.
The Hybrid suddenly emerged from behind the beast and extended its fleshy, octopus-like limbs.
They seized the beast and tore it apart.
The Shadow emerged and leaped into the air. It transformed its scythe into a hammer and struck the beast's body with tremendous force.
It then transformed the weapon into a bow and fired an arrow that pierced the beast's head.
The weapon changed back into a scythe—
and sliced the beast in half from top to bottom.
Scarlet King moved and unleashed his laser at full power alongside shells from all his cannons.
After one minute, the beast's body rapidly regenerated again.
This time, it struck the Hybrid with enough force to tear a hole through its body. It then struck the Shadow and ripped it in half.
The Shadow quickly retreated into the darkness to regenerate.
The beast moved toward Scarlet King.
Before he could react, his head was torn from his body and hurled far away.
The beast stopped screaming and stared at Scarlet King's headless body.
Shock appeared on its face.
The body moved.
It picked up the severed head and placed it back onto its neck.
The tissue stretched upward and fused with the head, making Scarlet King's neck slightly longer. Within seconds, however, it returned to its normal length, proportionate to his height of one hundred and ninety-one centimeters.
Scarlet King's eyes shifted toward the beast.
"You aren't the only one with supernatural regeneration."
Scarlet King thought:
(Just as I'm exhausting it, it's exhausting me. I'm tired right now, but I can't stop.)
[Elsewhere — Liu Zai Hang and Ikalath Had Reached the Two Spacecraft After Running at High Speed]
The two stood before the black spacecraft, which had partially fused together. It was obvious that they had collided with one another.
Large sections of both vessels had been destroyed. Their surfaces were filled with holes and traces of charring left behind by fire, along with layers of white snow that contrasted sharply with the black metal.
Their combined size was approximately half that of a small city.
Liu Zai Hang said in amazement:
"Incredible. I've never seen anything like these in my entire life."
Ikalath replied:
"Hah. What's so incredible about them? These vessels aren't even worth as much as the toys belonging to poor children in the Immortal Dimensions. Even ordinary people of moderate wealth possess vessels as large as dozens of the universes within the Mortal Dimensions."
Three wolves suddenly emerged and leaped toward them.
Ikalath grabbed one and broke its neck, while Liu Zai Hang raised his hand and used the Fire Path to burn the other two, reducing them to ashes.
Liu Zai Hang narrowed his eyes slightly.
"Hah. It seems a pack of wolves lives inside the spacecraft."
