While at the amusement park, the three of them had fun riding several rides that seemed safe for Silas. Not only did they ride the rides, but Alastair also took his son to play some games at the booths there.
From the ball toss booth to the ring toss at a bottle booth to the shooting gallery.
"Look at that, Uncle Al! The grand prize at the shooting game booth is a remote control car. Look at that, it's even a huge monster truck!" Silas exclaimed excitedly, longing for the toy.
For someone like Noel or Alastair, buying a toy like that or even the factory that makes it would be no problem at all. However, seeing how excited Silas was to get that toy, Alastair thought he'd encourage Silas to earn what he wanted through a little effort.
"Oh, that prize is really cool, isn't it? Do you want it, Silas? Well then, how about you try shooting the target and win that prize? I'm sure you can do it," Alastair said, cheering the boy on.
