Raven rushed toward the woman's house like a storm that had finally lost its patience. The gate stood no chance. With a powerful wave of force, it burst open, crashing violently against the ground. Raven didn't slow down. His footsteps echoed as he stormed inside, his voice tearing through the silence.
"I think you should get out now," he roared, his eyes blazing, "or I will burn this house to the ground, Mrs. Sae-byeok!"
The moment her name left his mouth, the illusion covering the house shattered. The once calm atmosphere twisted back into its dark, lifeless state. The walls seemed colder, heavier—like the house itself was breathing with evil.
The woman descended the stairs slowly, her eyes sharp and filled with hatred as they locked onto Raven.
"You devil," he spat.
Raven moved around the living room like a wild beast, his fists clenched, his whole body shaking with rage.
"All this time," he shouted, "my sister was in that school? And you set her up to kill me? She never even knew I was her brother! What kind of witch are you?"
His eyes burned red as his anger exploded. His hand curled tightly into a fist.
The woman smiled faintly as she stepped closer, her expression cold and fearless.
"You think you always have access to this place," she said calmly. "But let me warn you—no matter what kind of power the Wizard of Gwi created inside you, I will destroy—"
"Hey!!!"
Raven's roar cut her off. A violent breeze erupted from his body, slamming into her and throwing her across the room. She crashed against the sofa, hitting her head hard.
But before Raven could move again, a powerful wave of wind struck him from behind. He was thrown backward, his head smashing into the wall.
Soah appeared immediately, rushing down and holding her mother. She helped her stand, her movements protective, almost desperate. Then she turned and began walking toward Raven.
Raven looked up, his eyes wide, his breath shaking.
"Siwoo…"
"Oh please, don't call me that!" Soah snapped angrily. "My name is Soah. Not Siwoo. Not whatever name you've created in your head. I know you're looking for your sister, but I look nothing like her. I am not her—and I never will be."
Tears streamed down Raven's face as he forced himself to stand.
"Siwoo," he cried again. "It's you. You're alive."
He moved toward her, his arms trembling as he tried to pull her into a hug—but Soah shoved him away violently, sending him stumbling back.
"I said I am not Siwoo!" she shouted, fire blazing in her eyes. "I am not your sister!"
Raven's voice broke as he spoke again.
"She is my mother," he said, pointing at Sae-byeok. "And she is trying to destroy you. Don't listen to her. She hates humans, Siwoo. She always has."
Soah screamed, rage exploding inside her.
"Don't you dare speak about my mother like that!" she yelled. "You are not her son—and you never will be. You don't get to call her a witch!"
"Siwoo," Raven whispered again, stepping closer before stopping himself.
"Siwoo, let's go for a DNA test. If you truly believe I'm not your blood, then let science prove it."
The woman burst into loud, mocking laughter.
"You think DNA will prove you are siblings?" she scoffed. "Fine. Go ahead. Do the test."
Raven turned sharply toward her, his anger reaching a terrifying level.
"Sae-byeok!" he yelled. "What have you done to her blood? What did you do to her, you devil?"
Soah raised her hand, preparing to strike Raven with a powerful wave—but Raven turned to her and suddenly dropped to his knees.
"Siwoo," he said, his voice trembling. "I am sorry. I am sorry for fighting you. I am sorry for hurting you. I am sorry for chasing you away all those times you tried to get close to me—even when you thought it was just a mission the devil sent you on."
He swallowed hard, his eyes filled with pain.
"That blood you feel inside you—that isn't evil. It's working because she made it that way."
Raven slowly stood up again, his anger now mixed with deep sorrow.
"Siwoo," he continued, "I don't care about DNA. Our father was killed by this witch because he refused her fantasy. He said no—and she killed him. She succeeded in creating those creatures she wanted."
He stepped closer, his voice softer.
"Siwoo, I know the human inside you is still alive."
Soah laughed bitterly.
"Father?" she said mockingly. "I never had a father. My mother created me. I am not your sister."
Raven turned slowly toward the woman, his voice shaking.
"What have I ever done to you?" he asked. "Why did you bring us into this world? What was your intention in giving birth to us?"
The woman's eyes darkened.
"Oh… now I see," he said coldly. "Now everything is clear. And I will kill you personally."
Before the woman could respond, Soah stepped forward.
"And I will kill you personally too," she said, her voice sharp.
Raven turned back to her, tears falling freely.
"Siwoo," he whispered. "I thought you were dead. But I will protect you—no matter the venom she has put inside you. I will keep you safe."
Soah laughed again and turned toward her mother, who immediately joined her laughter.
Then Soah looked back at Raven.
"You better watch your back," she warned, "and that girl Jina too. Because I will destroy both of you."
In one swift movement, Raven lunged forward, grabbed a handful of Soah's hair, and vanished like a wave.
Soah screamed in pain as she fell to the ground.
The woman rushed to her immediately, her face twisting with fear and anger as she helped Soah up.
"Mother…" Soah said weakly. "What was he saying?"
"Don't listen to him," Sae-byeok replied quickly. "Come. Let's go."
She held Soah tightly as they walked away, disappearing deeper into the house.
