With this thought in mind, he immediately took action.
Under his conscious control, the evil cold currents scattered in his blood vessels surged towards the carotid artery. The evil cold currents in his neck became increasingly concentrated, and the difficulty of control increased dramatically.
'Huff... huff...' Rosen's breathing became much more rapid: 'I'm using elemental control to fight against the natural diffusion of liquids; it's really consuming a lot of energy! Hold on! Hold on!' "The toxins are all around my neck, and my head is right next to my neck. I absolutely can't let the toxins spread, otherwise my brain will be the first to suffer!"
This is like dropping a drop of ink into a glass of water. Because of the random motion of molecules, the ink will inevitably tend to diffuse evenly into the water. What Rosen is doing now is re-condensing the ink that has dissolved into the water back into an ink droplet.
This is a process of entropy reduction. According to the first law of thermodynamics, this process can never occur spontaneously; it must be driven by external energy.
So, where does this energy come from?
Rosen's elemental control originates from his brain, so the primary supplier of this energy is the brain. The brain's energy doesn't come from nowhere either; it relies entirely on blood supply.
Now, the brain's energy consumption has increased dramatically, and blood supply has increased instantly.
According to the second law of thermodynamics, in this process, the energy provided by the brain cannot be 100% converted into usable energy; there will inevitably be additional energy consumption, and all energy consumption will eventually be converted into heat.
The result of Rosen's series of actions is that his head has become extremely hot, like he has a high fever. To cool himself, his breathing became rapid, and he began sweating profusely. His heart pounded wildly, almost leaping out of his throat, as he tried to provide his brain with sufficient energy.
It felt like running a marathon.
But it didn't end there.
Another side effect appeared: to power his brain, a large amount of blood concentrated there, causing his body temperature to rise sharply and intracranial pressure to increase, resulting in waves of severe headaches.
All of this made Rosen realize clearly that he had entered a real world. In this world, the essence of all change was the conversion of energy; extra power inevitably came with extra effort.
He knew very well that if he exceeded his physical limits, his body temperature would spiral out of control, and his brain would suffer irreversible damage. But he also knew that his survival depended entirely on this one night!
The excruciating headaches were driving Rosen almost insane.
"Hold on! Hold on! Surviving in such a cruel otherworld requires inhuman effort!"
"Vampire Viken, you son of a bitch!"
"You better not let me live, or I'll definitely kill you!"
"Viken, ¥...¥"
Rosen cursed inwardly. His current predicament was all thanks to this damned vampire. Even his transmigration was related to this vampire, this jinx! A show-off! A blood-sucking beast!
Just as Rosen was about to faint from exhaustion, he vaguely saw a figure enter the alchemy room.
A sinister, round voice came: "Hmm~ Reeking of alcohol, covered in cold sweat, trying to use alcohol to fight off your fear? Oh~~~ Hehehe~~~ What a wise choice."
The tone was exactly the same as in the game. Rosen's head was throbbing, and he had no fear left.
"Show-off! If I don't die, I'll definitely kill you!"
Just like in the game, the high-ranking vampire Viken was incredibly talkative.
He strolled slowly towards Rosen: "Little guy, your performance was quite unexpected. I thought you'd panic and run away."
Rosen remained silent. There was still liquor in the bottle; he forcefully lifted it and gulped down two large mouthfuls. The alcohol emboldened him, and he glared fiercely at Viken, swearing inwardly: 'You son of a bitch, don't let me get out of here alive, or I'll definitely come after you in an Apocalypse Tank!'
Viken laughed heartily: "Interesting, very interesting! You're the bravest human I've ever seen. As a reward, I'll try to be gentle and let you live as long as possible, hahaha."
As soon as he finished speaking, Rosen saw the figure in front of him suddenly transform into a streak of black light, a gust of wind carrying the scent of blood rushed towards him, and then he felt a sharp pain in his neck, as if two sharp daggers had been plunged into it.
The excruciating pain jolted Rosen violently. He instinctively tried to struggle, but before he could move his limbs, he felt an arm gently encircle his body from behind. Instantly, he felt as if he were bound by steel bars, completely immobilized.
He could clearly feel the veins in his neck throbbing, blood gushing rapidly from the wound, the malevolent chill within his veins draining away quickly.
"Excellent, Viken's been poisoned! He's almost completely drained the datura poison from my neck veins. Now I just hope the poison takes effect before this bastard drains all my blood!"
As long as the vampire Viken takes effect and hallucinates, he'll have a sliver of hope to escape.
In the moonlight, inside the cabin, Rosen sat in a chair, his body occasionally twitching from the pain. Behind him, a blond man's arm encircled Rosen's body, his mouth and nose close to his neck. Silver moonlight streamed in from the window, illuminating the two men and creating a bizarre scene.
He didn't know how much time had passed, but Rosen felt his body growing weaker and weaker, waves of chills constantly washing over him. These chills weren't caused by the poison, but rather by the symptoms of massive blood loss.
However, perhaps due to the blood loss, a final burst of energy occurred, and his consciousness became increasingly clear.
"The vampire's resistance to poison is truly remarkable; it hasn't taken effect yet after so long. It's probably for the best if he drains all my blood. I've done everything I could; even if I fail, there's nothing to regret. Maybe I'll return to Earth after I die." Thinking this, Rosen's fear subsided. He simply relaxed his body, letting Viken suck his blood.
