Miya had stood there in silence as Aurora summoned a table and chairs for the three of them. Miya glanced down at the chairs as Diane and Aurora sat down at their seats. She then glanced up at Aurora, and sighed.
"So Aurora, why am I here exactly?"
Miya asks as they sit there in awkward silence. Aurora snaps her fingers creating cups and a tea pot that is full of green tea. She then slides a tea cup towards Miya and Diane as she takes a sip from her cup.
"Well, I had sensed your presence and let's just say, I found you interesting. While of course, you just got your potential unlocked by the Spirit of Time, or Diane if you want to call her that, so I just want to speak to you about something."
Aurora calmly responds with a smile. Her beauty was something that can effectively attract others. Miya looked at her with confusion. Diane sat there, listening to the conversation between Miya and Aurora. Her presence though, was big and strong enough to destroy the world she created plus other dimensions.
"So what is that you want to talk about?" Miya asks calmly.
"I want to speak about your potential. You see, with your potential, you can grow pretty powerful in the future. How do I know you wonder? Well, I have the ability known as [Foresight] which allows me to see through timelines. I had peeked some time into the future, and I must say, you are one powerful girl, heh."
Aurora chuckled as Miya was still unsure about what she meant. Diane, however, knew what she meant by her statement.
"What are you talking about?"
"Let's just say, you become a goddess. A powerful one at that."
Aurora explains as Miya has started to understand everything. One thing that confused her was the term "timelines". She knows what it means, but her brain doesn't truly understand what lies beyond this world.
Timelines? Diane said many worlds, and Aurora said timelines. Wait, I've been studying different theories in my past life. I always wanted to be a philosopher in the near future. I want to say that it's confirmed to be that we live in a multiverse, but I don't want to confirm this idea without actual evidence.
Her thoughts recognized the theory about the multiverse, but she was unsure about its existence and the different worlds. She sat there now thinking if a multiverse could exist.
"I see. That's interesting."
She calmly responds with a slight chuckle. Aurora laughed with her while Diane left to do her own thing in her four-dimensional library. Aurora then sighed and put down her cup.
"Yes. Anyways, I'll be sending you back now. I only wanted to speak to you about your potential and that's it."
Aurora smiled as Miya glanced at her confused. She always believed meetings like this would be longer, but this meeting wasn't. Miya then stood up from her chair and stretched out her limbs. Aurora noticed this and opened up a portal back to the Physical Realm.
"Sure, I'll be heading out now. See ya later then?"
"Yes. See you later Miya."
Miya smiled as they both waved goodbye to each other. She steps into the portal back to the physical realm, and when she arrives back, she specifically arrives back in Chronostele. Miya sighs in relief as more questions start building up into her head. Right there and then, she left and started leaving Chronostele. There were large mountain ranges in the distances in all directions. As she wanders through the mountains, she then sees a large cave in the mountain.
A cave? I wonder if I should explore it or no—
Her thoughts stopped midway as she sensed a powerful item in the cave.
This item, it's powerful. Is it perhaps an ancient relic? They do have a powerful aura to it… I'll go check it out and see what's in it.
Miya started walking to the cave, but first, she had started climbing the mountain. The higher she climbs, the closer she gets. She continued to climb and when she arrived, she noticed how dark it was. The cave was darker than any usual caves she's been in before being transported. There weren't any water drops either. Just dead silence. Miya walked deeper into the cave, but the long hallway of the cave had gone so deep that it felt like it was going on infinitely.
After what felt like an eternity, she finally made it to the end of the cave, and it appeared to be a large room that extends outwards even more. Although, it had a bar table counter, chairs and some barrels that held thousand year old wine.
Could somebody be camping here? There are a lot of supplies. Anyways, I need to find where this item is. It could be hiding somewhere in here…
Miya started searching through the cave, going through the drawers and cabinets seeing if the hidden item was in one of them. She had searched through them one by one, but hadn't found anything. There was a bookshelf against the far back wall. Miya glanced over to it and realized something about the bookshelf.
That wasn't there when I entered… weird.
Miya walked over to the bookshelf, and started taking out books and reading them, until one was pulled and acted as a lever to a secret door that leads somewhere. The bookshelf then moves to the right by itself which revealed a hallway.
"A hallway? How weird of somebody to build a secret tunnel in a cave, although it would make sense in a way if they were in danger."
Miya murmured to herself as she walked through and entered the hallway. She continued walking down this long tunnel.
While walking, she noticed that at the very end, it was a long bridge, but the surroundings of the path was nothing but a hue between violet and indigo. Miya continued walking, and all she could see was space
She took in the scenery of space and the white specs around. Miya was in total shock after seeing this. She had trouble processing everything due to how beautiful it looked. It interested her.
"What the—? Space? It's beautiful looking, but I need to find this damn object. Although…. I do wonder what the white specs around me are."
Miya had questions about the location she had arrived in. She sighed then walked down the long pathway, but it continued extending outwards.
An hour later, she had finally arrived at the end which is a secret room that has a single chest in the middle. Miya was panting heavily from exhaustion, then went over to the single chest. As she towers over it, she opens up the chest to see a fragment crystal.
"Eh? A crystal? I came all the way out here… for a fucking crystal?!"
Miya was in shock as her voice echoed through the secret room and space outside. She was a bit irritated, but then she took a deep breath and calmed down. Miya took the crystal and held it in her hand and checked it out,
"What could this crystal be anyways? What does it do?"
Miya murmurs herself the questions while confused, but then the crystal had started sending memories of the Ultimate Goddess who had died against the Outer God. Not only that, but abilities from the Ultimate Goddess were also getting transferred to her as well. The crystal then vanished from her hands, feeling a lot more mana than she had when Diane unlocked her potential.
I feel different… this feeling. I can feel the powers being transmitted to me, but these memories… this person fought somebody….
She felt a small pain in her head as the memories flowed through her head. Miya held her head in pain like it was a headache. The pain then slowly fades away from her body like it wasn't there.
"That pain… what was that just now?"
She grunts a bit as she then leaves the secret room as she rubs her head. Miya looked back at the long pathway back, forgetting she had to walk an hour and a half to arrive where she came from. Miya sighed in disappointment as she started to go down the long pathway.
Outside of this space, Aurora was relaxing in the Data World with the Spirit of Time. They both take a sip out of their cup of tea as they sit in awkward silence.
"You know Diane, I wonder if we'll see Miya again. What do you think?"
Aurora asks calmly as she takes more sips from her tea cup. Diane glanced at her with a bright smile and put down her cup on the table gently.
"Yeah. One day she'll come back and visit us."
Diane (Spirit of Time) responds with joy and happiness, which makes Aurora smile. They both sat there as they started finishing up their tea.
Miya, who had been walking on the pathway, had arrived where she came from and walked through the bookshelf, now back in the cave. She stood there as she sighed and went over to the bar table counter and laid her head down on it.
"I'll just rest up… replenish all of my stamina for tomorrow…"
Miya says exhaustedly as she yawns, then drifts off to sleep. She continued sleeping, then at 2 AM in the morning, a loud explosion occurred in the cave she was resting up in. Miya slowly opened her eyes and stood up and stretched. She looked at the direction that the explosion came from, then she left the cave. As she stepped outside, it was windy and there was a destructive and magical snake slithering around in the forest. Miya yawned and rubbed her eyes lazily as she was half asleep.
"Wha—? What's happening?" Miya glanced down the cliff of the cave she was in, then noticed the snake. Her eyes widened realizing the situation that is happening down in the forest.
"Oh… shit." she murmurs to herself as she then jumps down the mountain and lands on the ground. She started sprinting to the location, weaving through the trees. Another explosion happened, then there was smoke now going through the air, meaning there was fire around. When Miya arrived, she noticed how much damage the large snake did to the forest. Miya started analyzing the snake and came to a conclusion.
This snake… it has more mana than I do, so it can use more attacks than I possibly could, and from the fire, I'm assuming it's a fire-type creature…
Her thoughts became panicked as she stood there watching while frozen in a state of shock. The large snake continued causing destruction in the forest, then looked in Miya's direction. It hisses at Miya loudly as it charged towards her.
Oh fuck!
Her thoughts panicked as the snake used its tail and smacked her with it, sending her flying backwards. She didn't have the time to react, as it was moving too fast. Miya then hit a rock from behind and felt the jolt of pain going through pain.
Miya had hit the rock which knocked the wind out of her. She collapses onto the ground and coughs and wipes her mouth. The snake continued hissing as its eyes glared at Miya with killing intent. She then stood up as she continued coughing.
"Fucking hell… come on body, use an ability dammit…"
Miya tries to use some abilities that were granted to her through the crystals. The snake then whipped its tail again at Miya which broke the speed of sound. Miya started trembling in fear and noticed she was shaking. She started hitting her legs roughly.
"Dammit… move legs, move!"
She tries to move, but notices the tail of the snake was close to her. Miya stood there frozen in fear, and she panicked heavily.
Fuck! What am I supposed to do?!
As the tail of the snake made contact with Miya's body, she had vanished from her spot and had landed behind it. Miya was panting heavily from fear, and noticed her body had moved on its own. She continued panting heavily as look back at the snake.
The snake hisses more as it opened its mouth and shot out a large fire beam that was big enough to wipe out an entire city. Miya glanced at the snake and sighed and started taking deep breaths. She faced forward to the snake, then put up a barrier around her as the snake's attack came in contact with her barrier. The barrier was able to hold off the attack. That was then the attack vanished completely from thin air.
Her barrier, [Dimensional Guard], was a multi-dimensional barrier that allows to stop any magic attacks from hitting her or her allies. Miya snapped her fingers as magic circles had appeared behind her, sending out lightning beams towards the snake. The lightning beams had landed and vaporiated the snake.
Miya then collapses from the mana usage of her attacks. It was taking a toll on her as she pants heavily.
She was sitting against a large rock, and saw the damage from the snake's attacks. Miya laid there as she stared at the sky as she was exhausted.
"Hehehe…"
Miya had started laughing as she stayed down for a bit. Her body wouldn't move from the toll of the amount of mana she had to use to defeat a snake like that. She then passed out from exhaustion, and was laying there. Aurora watches everything from the Data World and she smiles as well as Diane.
"Miya did well, Diane, but what I'm curious about is how did she get these powers? Of course she didn't achieve it from you unlocking her potential, so she must've gotten it somewhere."
Aurora says with a proud smile as Diane glances at her as she smiles back. Even Diane was confused about her powers. That was until she started to realize something in her brain.
"Not unless… she got her powers from the fragment crystals Aurora…"
Diane responds with a calming tone as her eyes widened through realization. Aurora glanced at her, and noticed the confidence in Diane's eyes. Aurora glanced back down at Miya through an orb.
Could it be, Miya? That you took a fragment crystal to gain these powers?
Aurora questioned it, doubting that it's true. She didn't believe it, but Diane immediately knew it was true. There was no other way for Miya to achieve such power within days after her transportation to this world. Diane started to smile as she watched. She was proud of Miya. Aurora knew Miya was terrified to fight earlier, but taking deep breaths helped her calm down.
The next day, Miya had woken up after passing out on the rock and opened her eyes slowly. She analyzed her surroundings and stood up and wiped all the dirt off of her clothes. Miya then rubbed her head as a little jolt of pain went through her body when touching her head. Of course, she got a bruise on her head when hitting the rock earlier during her fight with the large snake.
"Ow… this hurts… it seems I passed out from exhaustion. I need to save up on mana and not spend it all at once like that."
Miya says as she winces from the pain the more she touches her head. She sighs then analyzes everything around her, still seeing the damage that was caused by the snake. Her mind is still a bit blank from being disoriented after waking up, but still knows what happened.
That blast from that snake… if there was a city nearby, it would've been destroyed.
Miya left the area and wandered around the forest. As she walked out of the forest, she felt a sharp pain in her head, then placed her hand on her head as she winced in pain.
"Damn… this headache.. it could be from the memories from who I'm assuming is the Ultimate Goddess…"
Miya murmured as she left the forest. She had then walked back to the city and as she entered the gate, she then went over to a tailor shop over to the left block of the city. The sign above the shop was bright. She wandered into the store, seeing the seamstress.
"Hello ma'am, welcome the Grand West Tailor, how may I help you?"
The seamstress smiles brightly as Miya walks in. She took a glance at the seamstress with a smile.
"I'd like a new coat if that's fine."
Miya responded with calmness as the seamstress nodded and took out the measuring tape. The seamstress started measuring Miya and her body. As the measurements continue, she sighs.
"So… how long would it take to be finished?"
"A week to four weeks minimum."
The seamstress responds as she smiles and finishes with the measurements. While Miya stood there, she started roaming around the store to look at the different outfits that had been made.
"Do you like the outfits here?"
The seamstress asks with a bright smile as she gets working on the outfit. Miya continued looking through the different coats and outfits.
"Yeah. It's pretty."
Miya responded with a calm tone. She examined the outfits and different jackets and coats of the outfits.
"Well, I'm glad! Anyways, I'll call you when your clothes are ready, ok ma'am?"
The seamstress says as she continues working on the outfit. Miya nodded and left the money on the desk as she left the tailor shop. They waved goodbye to each other.
Two weeks later, Miya had come out from the tailor shop, now wearing a fancy suit. Of course her coat was a midnight black color, as her boots and pants were pitch black like the void. Her white shirt was as flexible and comfortable as clouds in the sky. She adjusts her coat as she explores around Chronostele.
Miya walked away from the tailor shop as the suit itself allows her to be more flexible while walking and fighting. She wandered around as she started to exit Chronostele.
Meanwhile, Aurora was in the Data World still with Diane. She was asleep in her bed with Diane next to her. Of course, Aurora starts dreaming about something as she stirs in bed, struggling to sleep.
Two thousand years ago, Aurora as a child had been living in the physical realm after being exiled from the Demon Realm. As a demon, the humans in her village wanted her gone and always hired priests in exorcising her or sending her back down to the Demon Realm. For centuries, Aurora had always studied magic in order to protect herself.
That was when a priest had knocked on Aurora's door, and then she opened up the door seeing a man in a white gown and cap, resembling the church.
"What the—?"
Aurora was confused as the priest then knocked her out, and tied her in a chair as he pulled out a cross and holy water from his pockets. Aurora then woke up an hour later, tied to the chair, now vulnerable.
"Father… Please forgive me for letting this demon roam around in your creation. Send this demon back to where it came from, and seal it permanently."
The priest mumbles as his hands are pressed against each other. It was a prayer of plea to God. Aurora glanced at him, her eyes widened through fear. Aurora's appearance was human, but her race was a demon. The priest saw through her lies. Aurora sat there, tied to a chair, trembling a bit in fear as she tried to escape.
No… please! Somebody! I'm not a bad person! I don't want to harm anybody! I'm scared!
Her thoughts ran panic as the priest opened up a bottle of holy water. He then splashed Aurora with the holy water, but it wasn't taking effect. It wasn't cleansing her soul. The reason wasn't what he thought it was.
"The holy water… it's not working I see. It's supposed to drive evil away from your soul. I'll have to exorcise you through prayers and rituals."
The priest's voice was threatening. As he put his hands together, in a way, time didn't slow down. Aurora noticed that everything stopped. She realized it there and then that time had completely stopped.
What? He's… not doing the prayers? Is someone here to save me?
There were questions flowing through her head, then the Spirit of Time flew through the door and noticed Aurora tied to the chair. Her appearance was a tall, and beautiful lady with gorgeous silky black hair with gold eyes. Her dress was a crimson red with black accents. Aurora was in shock as her eyes widened. The Spirit of Time had a bright smile as she untied Aurora from the chair.
"Hey, you okay?"
The Spirit of Time, at this time, asked with a bright smile. Aurora was unsure and still confused, but nodded, confirming her concerns. She then smiled widened as she glanced at her appearance.
"Good. So let's start with introductions! I'm Diane, the Spirit of Time! You must be someone from the Demon Realm. You are a demon correct? You sure are pretty!"
Her excitement was unexpected to Aurora. She was unsure how she knew that she was a demon.
"Y-Yeah. I'm a demon, how'd you know?"
Aurora was still in shock as she stammered and fumbled her words. Diane glanced at her and chuckled a bit, showing her joy and happiness.
"Well, you don't have to hide it! Your existence and vibe are demonic via presence! So even without your horns, I can easily tell!"
Diane shouts in excitement as she snaps her fingers resuming time. The priest was able to move again and glanced at them both. He then got into a state of shock after seeing Diane floating in front of him.
"Hey man, don't go assuming whether they're bad or not. Let's be honest, you aren't really a priest are you? You might as well leave this place and her alone ok? Now go and don't come back."
Diane's excited expression faltered and was quickly replaced with a serious expression. Her voice wasn't requesting, but it was demanding.
The Priest stares at her as his anger boils up a bit when he sees her in front of her.
"Or what? I'll have God smite you both, you evil doers. You're defending a demon and you're an evil spirit. So I'll have to exorcise you both!"
The Priest shouts as he grips onto the cross tightly and puts it in front of him, then starts praying and chanting. This confused Diane and she sighs in disappointment as she then silenced him completely via [Voice Control].
The Priest was silent. He couldn't speak and realized this as he tried to speak. The priest feels his mouth is still there, but his eyes widened in fear as he starts running away. Diane and Aurora shot some glares at him as he ran back to where he came from.
"W-What was that?"
Aurora questions what just happened. Diane glanced back at Aurora, and her smile returned. It was her usual bright self that's back.
"I removed his voice. Also, he's not from the church. He's from a cult who believes they know who God is. Although, the Creator of Existence knew you weren't evil so he wouldn't do anything. So, that guy who tied you is just some cult leader. You're welcome. Now we're friends!"
Diane says with a bright smile as Aurora stays silent while in shock of what happened.
Why? This girl came and saved me? My father exiled me because I was a mistake, because I never went down his path in destruction. The humans here don't like me because I'm a demon. So why did she save me…?
Aurora sat there with negative thoughts and the past before being casted out of the Demon Realm. Diane looked at her with care as she floated next to her. She snaps her fingers as her appearance changes from a tall girl into a child-like girl in a black dress with a short skirt and black tights and boots. Diane also had worn her black with crimson red accent coat.
"I defended you because we're both seen as freaks. People thought I'm a supernatural evil being and always thought spirits like us aren't so good. Same goes to how they treat demons. Yes, demons aren't really kind, but that truly depends on the demon, like you for example, you're kind and I can sense by your presence. Let's be friends, yeah?"
Diane grinned widely as Aurora sat there still in shock. She was processing what happened. Aurora was lost in thought due to fear. Diane tapped her shoulder gently and looked at her.
"Hey, it's ok Aurora. You'll be fine with me ok?"
Her touch had snapped Aurora back into reality as she flinched. Aurora looked at her and a smile appeared on her face. It was happiness.
"Thanks, Diane. After so long, I was never liked by my father nor anyone in the demon race. I'm just scared and still trying to hone my magic."
Aurora says as her vision gets blurry with tears filling up her eyes. Tears started to fall from her eyes and Diane wiped her eyes, then hugged Aurora, trying to comfort her. Aurora was startled by the hug, then hugged back, enjoying her warmth and comfort.
"Let me re-introduce myself, it was a bit chaotic when I arrived. My name is Diane, one of the Primordial Spirits. Us, Primordial Spirits, are metaphysical in existence of course! so we're pretty ancient! I'm also the strongest Primordial Spirits that the Spirit God created. I'll assume you're one of the youngest demons in terms of age."
Diane says with a calm voice as Aurora's eyes widened in surprise. She never expected a being like Diane can truly know her without being introduced. It was like Diane had always been watching with her somewhere in the cosmos.
They both had left the village an hour later, and Aurora had created the Data World. A place that holds lower dimensional existences as books in the bookshelf. It wasn't a physical realm nor a spiritual realm. It was a realm that transcends the lower realms from three-dimensional to five-dimensional realms.
Aurora stirred in bed, and jolted up awake from her dream as she was laying in bed. Diane saw her panicked expression and was unsure about whether she had a dream or not.
"Hey! Are you alright?"
Diane says with a concerned voice. She glanced at Aurora as she was disoriented and a bit sweaty.
"That dream… I had a dream of the past when I first met you, and when I had personally created the Data World as a little home for both of us."
There was a pause in Aurora's voice as Diane patted her on the back. She then leans towards her, giving her a kiss on the forehead. Aurora looks at Diane as she wipes her cheek and sighs.
"You'll be fine, I'm here. Besides, you weren't feeling well until we met."
Diane smiled brightly as Aurora sat up, still a bit disoriented and confused about her dream. It was a dream to her past, and then memories started flooding her mind a bit while a voice echoed through her head. She held her head as if she was having a headache or was in pain.
"What's wrong Aurora?"
Diane asks with concern. She was worried about Aurora as she continued sitting there, holding her head up. As Aurora took a deep breath, she finally relaxed, but yet she was still a bit tense. Diane notices this then massages Aurora from the shoulder down.
"Memories, Diane, memories of my father…"
Aurora had a disheveled look. Her hair was messy, and she looked a bit stressed and tense. Diane continued massaging her from her shoulder, slowly moving down to her back, then down to her hips. Then, Aurora started to relax slowly and had calmed down.
"What about him?"
Diane glanced at her as she had worries in her eyes. She was unsure what to do in this situation as it hasn't happened before. Not to her at least.
"He's secretly watching from the Demon Realm…"
Aurora responded as she remained calm. She's quite confused about her father. There were many questions flowing through her head that were unanswered.
«Aurora Del Grey, I'm watching all of your steps and actions. Make one wrong move, then your friend gets it…» A voice had echoed through her head. It was a deep, menacing, and demanding toned voice. He was speaking through telepathy.
"That voice… Aurora, this isn't correct. He's already set up traps for you, but you can overcome those traps. Look, I'll contact Miya and talk to her about this!"
Diane's voice was full of concerns and worries. She was then about to use [Telepathy] to communicate with Miya, but Aurora stopped her before she could by grabbing her arm. She noticed how important it was, but she was stubborn to avoid Aurora's warning.
«Miya! Come in! This is important! Aurora's father had set up traps in her life, making sure she fails. I'll need you to make sure her life isn't ruined!» Diane telepathetically shouts at Miya, while Miya was in a large city called Babylon.
"Huh? Diane? Is that you? Shit… I'm kind of busy right now. But I'll try to see what I can do."
Miya's voice was getting filled with concern as she avoided faster-than-sound attacks. Diane then disappeared in Miya's head as Miya is now focusing on her battle.
It was a skilled mage known as Amiya, who is a high-skilled mage with lightning-based magic. Amiya had sent out lightning bolts towards Miya, but she avoided them with ease.
"Quit moving you little pest!"
Amiya shouts in anger as she uses [Lightning Gate of Justice], an ability that allows to summon lightning from all directions through dimensional gates that lead to her pocket dimension. That was when Miya dodged the lightning, but it had grazed her arm, but in that instant, Miya had healed that wound. Amiya glanced at her healing capabilities, she sighed in disappointment.
She's doing a lot… all that mana spending, it'll have to take a toll on her at some point!
Miya remains calm, but strategic as she then uses her new ability, [Spiral Gate Thread], which then opens up gates omnidirectionally that send threads to hold Amiya in one spot.
"You bitch! I'll kill you!"
Amiya tried to move, but the threads were holding her completely still. Miya glanced around at the damage that was caused. She then looks back at Amiya with some disappointment.
"Our attacks could've destroyed Babylon, you know that right? To be fair, I could've destroyed this entire city if needed to eradicate a being like you."
Miya's voice was threatening, but also mocking. Her taunts had made Amiya irritated, and she had tried to break the threads on her arms, but it ended up getting severed. Blood squirts from her severed hand, then Miya had wrapped Amiya's neck with a thread as well. She snapped her fingers healing Amiya's severed hand.
"One move, and I can kill you right here and now."
Miya's tone continued to be threatening. Amiya, however, hung there with anger fueled her more like a train being fueled with coal.
"I'll end you right here! Just watch m—"
Amiya stopped mid sentence as she was lowered down by Miya's threads. She went over to Amiya and kicked her in the face.
"Who are you working for?"
Miya asks threateningly as Amiya is now on the floor, bleeding from her nose and mouth.
The sheer force from her kick could've knocked her out, but Amiya knew she wasn't trying to do so.
"I won't tell you!"
Miya then kicks her again which knocks out her tooth. Amiya spits out the blood and panting a bit. Blood drips from her nose and couldn't move her arms as she's still tied to the threads.
"Tell me, I don't have time for this, Amiya."
Her voice was demanding, while Amiya pants. She sighs and groans a bit in anger, but also in agony. She stared into Miya's eyes with killing intent behind her eyes.
"Fine. I work for somebody named Celestia Argyle. She's a mage who wields all kinds of spells. She's a smart one too. Let's just say, she'll kill anyone regardless of their title or skill level in magic heh."
Amiya chuckled as she explained parts of who she works with. Miya sighs and releases the threads and walks away from her.
"If I see you again, I won't be patient to kill you."
That was a threat from Miya to Amiya. She knew, from her words, that she was in danger. Her words sent shivers down Amiya's spine. Miya then walked away as Amiya was left there alone with just her thoughts.
Celestia Argyle… I'll have to watch out for her if I'll fight her… she sounds dangerous according to Amiya's knowledge.
Miya's thoughts remained calm as she wandered around Babylon. She glanced at the destroyed area of Babylon, and kept wandering around.
In the far distance of the land, there was a place so deep in the seas that it was nearly impossible to spot. It was a hidden underground city that doesn't appear within the news. It was a secret that couldn't be unfolded. A place where most unknown royal knights and the ruler of the place resides.
Miya's main focus was finding Celestia Argyle. She then opened up a portal that tears a rift through the space-time continuum via [Hyper Rift]. Miya then walks through the rift. Inside the rift, it was a dark tunnel of space. It was a cold, eternal space that allows the person to travel to other locations plus through the world. Time flow was different here as time was faster. She went down the white-tiled path and at the end of the path was a gate that exits out the extradimensional space that is within the interdimensional rift.
As she stepped foot out of the rift, she noticed she was back in a forest, but seeing a sanctuary. It was a former lab for experiments and Miya analyzed the sanctuary.
"So this is where it is huh? Weird."
Miya went in through the entrance which were double doors. She sees the long hall with different rooms of what used to be rooms for different patients. She started walking deep into the hallway of the sanctuary. As she went deeper, she noticed the lobby of the abandoned lab and stairs going upwards.
Miya would analyze the area completely, then notice an elevator that only goes downwards. She tilted her head in confusion, then walked over to it and pressed the button.
If this sanctuary or so-called lab has an elevator going downwards, I'm curious on where it'll take me… maybe to Celestia Argyle?
The elevator had arrived as there were unanswered questions in Miya's thoughts. She stepped into the elevator shaft and pressed a button that goes to the very bottom of the elevator. Miya stood there in silence as the shaft took her down to floor zero. The elevator arrived, and the doors opened up, revealing a tube that is underwater, going down to a cobblestone wall with sliding glass doors.
This walkway is underwater… is this place an underground city or something?
There were more questions flooding her head as she started walking on the glass walkway. Miya's eyes roamed around as she walked. She notices the different sea animals and when she arrived, the doors had slid open, showing the large underground city. Miya's eyes widened in shock from how big the place was.
Miya walked through the doors and noticed the different buildings and pathways in the city. She roamed around the place as the castle was spotted in the far distance.
A castle… that's where Celestia must be then.
Miya's thoughts were calming as she walked towards the castle. It was a very heavily secured castle when Miya had arrived at the entrance. She sighed and then teleported inside and roamed around inside, trying to find Celestia Argyle. That was then, from behind, Miya heard a blade was being drawn and she had stopped her movements. Miya glanced behind her, seeing a lady with red hair and crimson piercing eyes.
"What are you doing here in Kogruk?"
The lady had pointed her sword from behind as she wore her armor with a coat. Miya stood there and noticed it could be Celestia.
"Are you… Celestia Argyle?"
Miya calmly asks as she turns around and faces her eye to eye. The lady stared into her eyes with killing intent as she pressed her sharp blade against Miya's left breast.
"Yeah? So what of it? Who are you and why are you her—"
Her sentence stopped midway. Before Celestia could finish her sentence, she was sent flying backwards and hit the wall that were rocks. Miya's fist landed on Celestia's cheek. Celestia then falls into the lake that is within Kogruk as a little pool. The water splashed on everyone. Miya went over to the small pond and glanced Celestia in the eyes. Celestia stood up soaking wet then got back onto the wooden floors.
There was blood flowing down from Celestia's forehead and sighs in disappointment. Celestia then wiped her forehead, wiping off the blood.
"Celestia Argyle.. did you send Amiya to kill me in Babylon?"
Miya asks with a demanding voice and tone. She stood there as Celestia stared into Miya's eyes.
"Heh. Yeah, I sent my sister to kill you. I did it because your potential is high and I've been watching you anyway."
Celestia calmly responds with a smile. Miya glanced at her, unsure, but remained serious about the situation. Celestia's smile widened as they stared into each other's eyes. One was full of malice and one was full of hope.
"Why?"
Miya remained unfazed while Celestia continued to smile like it was a game to her.
"You're dangerous. That's why. Perhaps you hadn't understood that your growth is abnormal when becoming stronger."
Her smile has quickly been replaced by a smirk, while Miya stood there in silence and sighs. Her disappointment was showing through her expression.
"Hahahaha! Honestly, your growth has attracted not just me! But also other beings in this world and other worlds!"
Celestia laughed loudly as it echoed through Kogruk. The people of Kogruk glanced at what's happening in Miya's direction. Some were unsure, and some were curious.
"Come on then, let's play until death do us part, Miya Katagari."
Celestia's tone was becoming seductive as she invited Miya to fight. Miya stood there in silence, and her expression became more serious, knowing how well this fight will go. Miya sighed once more.
"Alright then… but don't end up crying if I beat your ass badly Celestia…"
Miya then snapped her fingers which created a sword in her hands. It had manifested itself. Celestia smirk widened a bit as she held her sword tightly with malice. They both got into their fighting stances and were prepared for what would happen in Kogruk and outside of this large underground city.
