ARIA'S POV
Damien carried her up the grand staircase, his arms strong and sure around her, her legs wrapped tight around his waist. She buried her face in his neck, breathing in his scent.....cologne and clean skin and something uniquely him that made her feel safe and claimed and desperately wanted.
They reached the second floor, turned down the familiar corridor toward his private quarters. Every step brought back memories....of when she'd been Sarah the maid, delivering fresh linens to this room, where she had given him her virginity, where he had made her come several times, where they had made many memories together.
Now she was being carried into that same room as Aria Chen, the woman he loved. The woman he'd chosen despite everything.
He kicked the door open, carried her inside, and locked it behind them with a decisive click.
